Some FAQs that might help 💫:
How much yarn did i use per color?
    - i used around 3-4 balls per color (150-200 grams), but i used around 5 for the yellow color (250 grams)!
    - each ball of yarn was 50 grams!
How many ply was my yarn?
    - i used 5 ply yarn!
How much yarn did i use for the entire cardigan?
    - i used a total of 900-1000 grams of yarn!
How many squares was i able to make with one ball of yarn?
    - i was able to make around 4-5 squares!
    What sizes are the buttons?
    - 19mm!

I was just about to say the same thing if this isn’t a tutorial idk what is. This helped me out so much with figuring out how I wanted to connect my patches without the yarn being seen and being scared to not use an accent color on top of my color scheme I first created I am so glade I came across your video and I am no beginner I e been crocheting for over twenty fives now but just recently took it serious enough to start a business out of it. So much so that my eighteen year old has picked up the craft and now has a business of her own. I love your process / tutorial video 😜😂❤️

I’ve never crocheted in my life yet I just bought yarn and want to make a patchwork sweater with striped puffy sleeves. I was able to calculate out your patch measurements to fit what I need and that makes me rlly excited and helped me plan out how I will make my squares so thank you so much for including that info on rows and such! This vid is amazing

    • @CurlyBugIllustrations
      @CurlyBugIllustrations 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

@idrk um- I’ve been diving how much I need by how long the square is . Ex- I need 80cm wide so I divide it by 12 which made a decimal so I multiplied 12 till I got the closest number. I did the same for height. So if I need 60 cm in height then the height is five squares I believe I needed 6 squares wide so five x six is 30 and I need 30 for the back. I am making a full sweater so I need 60 squares

    • @CurlyBugIllustrations

Love this!!! First time I’ve come across your channel and your voice is so calming!
I totally agree that crochet is therapeutic. I use it to wind down but also give my brain some-what of a ‘work out’ after spending the whole day with my toddler son playing, drawing etc….
I make a lot of amigurumi so can really relate to the sore hands. Hand ache is definitely is improved with an ergonomic crochet hook. There’s plenty on the market.
I really love the colour combination you picked. I’ve never been fond of the Harry Styles cardigans I’ve seen around. Yours is something else. Great work.
Hope to see more videos like this from you.

when you finish block the Jacket (lay on ironing board place a cotton piece of material on and glide the steam iron over it it will keep it's shape after that)

Hi, thanks for the wonderful video! Just wanted to ask how you figured out the sizing -- how big your squares should be and how many squares you should have so that it fits you well?

Wow!! Very nice. I’m actually making one right now. But a bit different from yours. I already started mine yesterday. 2 weeks of making just the squares is really good. It might take me two months to finish my project. Thanks for sharing.

I prefer acrylic. In a sweater like this you have to wash cotton by hand and dry flat. Acrylic is wonderful. You can wash and dry it. Wonderful!!

Thank you for the info! Maybe I'll purchase a different acrylic yarn brand and try it out in the future 😊
