Looks wonderful. (Plug and play) the switch part in the dash. But It will be nice to see a video in how the relay box works. I cant imagine that you’re going to connect the lights after you installed it.
Hey sorry this took me so long to reply! I have actually hooked up all my offroad lights to the switch box, In fact in this video (th-cam.com/video/_nH7vLXI6Ds/w-d-xo.html ) I talk about how I had to work thru some issues hooking up my three large bumper lights to the Lasfit box. If you want to see something specific I would be more than happy to send you pictures or video clips! Ive had the insides open a few times! reach out to me via e-mail Overlanderoos@gmail.com or via instagram @overlanderoos and I would love to help answer anything youve got!
Great video. Does the wire harness that goes into the inside of the jeep give you wires that are a source for constant 12V power? Ie, can I hook up accessories to it that need a "constant on" option? Would be great if I could hook up my wolfbox mirror camera to it so it can monitor the Jeep when off and parked. Thanks.
@@andrewfischer3971 thank you so much!! Super glad you liked it! No, however I have found that if you leave the button on to whatever you are powering , it will stay energized after the vehicle is off (hopefully it's not just mine) maybe someone else in the comments can test there's too!
Great question! There are 4 individually labeled power leads that come out of the unit, so you can decide upon install which one will be which. If you hook up your light bar to power lead #1 then switch 1 will control it, etc etc!
Very well done video. I have a black, flat Lasfit bracket and a 10mm nut left after I installed. Are they just extras? Also, the wiring harness that includes the 4 hot wires under the hood.....that's a long harness, should it be run across to the driver's side with the harness that goes in the cabin? What do you do with all the length of harness (prior to hooking up AUX items), just wad it up next to the battery. Thanks a bunch. I also used your video as a step by step and it was so useful.
I followed this video (which is the best of the bunch on YT) but cant get the buttons to respond. The panel is backlit and getting power I believe but no ability to turn on or off. Tried changing the fuse but to no avail. Lasfit has yet to reach back out to me. Im at a loss.
Oh man! Thanks for the kind words! Do the amber lights on on the buttons light up? They may have sent you a faulty unit unfortunately. Their customer service is super good! I'm sure they will make it right!
@@Overlanderoos I just figured it out. The cigar lighter fuse was technically “empty” so to speak. I had used that slot for my oracle LED Bi Light headlights. Fortunately it had a slot for another fuse that once plugged in, turned everything on! Im soooo happy lol
Yes or when you have power applied to the Acc portion. However if you leave it on and turn the vehicle off I have found that the switch will stay on, so be mindful of that!
@@Overlanderoos I think Jay meant "CANbus cable". The Mopar AUX switches are settable -- optionally turn on after the Jeep is restarted if the switch was on when shut off, for example. Or, optionally work when OFF or not. Are the Lasfit switches programmable in this way?
@@Overlanderoos It was. I just finished. It took me a long time because I was very particular about a lot of things. Overall, I'm happy and your video helped explain some things the manual didn't.
Amazing video, helped provide perfect execution! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you! So pumped it helped!
Just installed mine. Used this as a step by step guide. Super easy. Thanks.
So pumped this helped you! Hope you love them as much as we love ours!
I agree with your assessment of the firewall plug. Great video!
Thank you so much!
You did an awesome detailed job of the install process. Thanks a ton!!

This is the most detailed video regarding this product. Thank you!

@@Overlanderoos - so the interior cables would be a good source for a two way radio then?
@Destinationtonowhere should be!
Maybe I missed it, but I didnt see the way you ran the wiring harness from the driver's side to the switches.
I might have zoned out there. Where do you attach the wires from the accessory (pod lights, etc). I’m assuming into the sealed box somehow?
Haha, the sealed box has power wires running that are capped off waiting for you to hook up your electronics to them! it couldnt get any easier!
What about the 3.0 diesel's? The power feeds are to short to reach the battery terminals.
Great video, thanks! One question, how do you know what button will control which accessory you connect to Jeep? Like light bar vs fog lights?

Where in Jax? I'm thinking of adding this to my new 23 JTR.
Do it! you will love it! I am pretty centrally located!

When you installed the cigarette lighter harness did you end up with an extra plug that wasn't connected?
I just got these. Haven’t installed them yet.
Question. Do they have last position memory?
Great channel. I live in Ocala and am getting a Gladiator next week. Looking forward to hitting the forest. Gave you a sub man, great video.
Thank you so much! We will have to hit the trails some day! you are going to love the Gladiator! Let me know if you need help with anything!
@@Overlanderoos Hey thanks a lot. Really like your content. I will reach out when we get the Gladiator in. Thanks again.
Thanks for the video. What sealant did you end up using to seal that rubber gasket into the firewall?
Believe it or not, I didn't. I still intend too and will probably use black RTV gasket maker. I've been in water over the hood and nothing leaked!

Will this work with KC light bars?
I don't see why it wouldn't!
This switch only turns on when the engine is on, correct?
Yes or when you have power applied to the Acc portion. However if you leave it on and turn the vehicle off I have found that the switch will stay on, so be mindful of that!
So meaning you need a canvas cable so that only turns on when ACC or engine on?
Not sure I understand the canvas cable? The switch will only work if Accessories power or the engines running.
ok, why the red switch has cabus cable?
