I am planning to do a Gotek drive video in the New Year. I might bring it forward, as two of the videos I am working on have been delayed while waiting for parts to arrive. Keep an eye (and Subscribe if you haven't) out for the video.
Your ST really looks nice again! According to the floppy power-cable. It seems that they do have different lengths. I've seen videos where it wasn't long enough, too. In my case (a 1040 STF) I had a bit more luck. It was just about long enough! flic.kr/p/2cV9FYB , flic.kr/p/2dFroth
Thanks for the info! I guess they just needed it long enough to fit the original disk drive and they cut the wires to whatever length as long as it that minimum length.
