Great video, the Chinese are really innovating in the gamepad scene. I hope more controllers include extra shoulder buttons like this one, from now on. What is the shortest delay that can be programmed in macros between one commend and the next? 1ms is possible?
Definitely love some of the ideas these controllers bring to the table. I dont understand how chinese companies are doing a better job with their controllers than xbox, playstation and nintendo . In my opinion the best controllers for their consoles are not even theirs
Not only them, but also Hori and other known brands. Hori makes dependable and good quality controllers, but they're cheap and barebones, they lack in features and innovations.
I'm using this gamepad around one and half year and this is one of the best controllers with really an amazing quality. Quality of materials much better than from Flydigi. But I Apex 4 and Vader 3Pro on of my favorite gamepads. Flydigi 4Pro preordered already, waiting for Beitong Zeus 3. P.S. Mouse option on PC it is a killer feature.
I love top shortcuts, they are so comfortable for action rpg games. Hoping for a revision or new model of this controller with HE sticks, higher polling rate and microswitch trigger stops. A man can dream!
Thank you for this! Definitely a nice controller, would like to get one at some point, if for no other reason for the ease of switching stuff out for when something breaks; really wish more controllers had that option..
One of the best unintentional ASMR vids ive seen lol, do you know if the controller can do gyro to joystick either through steam (as pro controller I assume) or native software?
Do you happen to have recommendations for the best adapter to use to connect an Xbox controller and a PS5 controller wirelessly to a Windows PC? I'm essentially looking for the best adapter for both types of controllers that allows me to wirelessly use them on a Windows PC with the least amount of delay/lag.
I almost bought one of their controllers when I bought the Apex 3. These seem very well build and they have features that sometimes you don't find on other controllers. I just feel that the price and their foreign market view is not the best. For example the joystick tension gimmick of the Apex 4 Beitong had a controller with it with a much more user friendly approach, a rotating ring on the base of the joysticks instead of a screw behind a faceplate. Much more user friendly and quicker way. Even their fighting gamepad is highly recommended by several people. The only downside on this one and the other one with tension setting is that they don't have hall joysticks besides pricing obviously. But I think they are probably out of the market for gamepads. Their new one is just a rebranded Mamba gamepad.
where can i find contact information from beitong. i accentally bought the wrong controller. the one without the extra nintedo layout face buttons. i want to buy the extra nintemdo layout face button modules
Hi, recently I saw a gamepad with sticks modules that support hotswap, just like switches on a mechanical keyboard. This one I saw is Machenike G6 pro but there are probably other models with this feature. On aliexpress it was for something like 50 bucks. Would be nice so see how it's works.
The weak point of these optical switches is the copper spring. The same switches are in the Razer and Pulsar mice. In my Razer, after a year, the left button clicked twice as weakly as the right one.
Hey @VKsChannel I just watched Gamer heavens review of this controller and he found it has a 1000HZ polling rate while wired. Any chance you messed it up and used the wrong program?
@@matrixkitty oh unfortunately on pc there is no way to launch the home button but perhaps you can configure the AI button with a custom command to like win+G key to launch the xbox game bar but again it has a mouse mode, that you can use to launch your games

This controller was trash. The back buttons were way too easy to accidentally push cause it barely took any pressure to activate them and your fingers rest right on them. It also has severe connectivity issues with 2.4g. The button modules were dope though. This is the future of high end controllers. We should be able to swap out buttons and sticks and dpads to whatever we want. If they do a revision with less sensitive back buttons and fixed 2.4g I'll buy it again.
I agree. The noise the switches has always been my main beef with mice that come with "new and improved" optical switches, they also have a tendency of being overly sensitive. So despite the prolonged life cycle they come with, I would still go for old school mechanical switches if offered the choice.
@@_bhp that's true, but it does define its minimum, and meeting poll rate at high rates implies meeting latency deadlines at those rates. An architect or dev might improve debounce algorithm times, or allow shorter AD conversion times through choice part selection, or whatever, but they'll never get lower latency than the polling rate allows. Everything else which contributes to latency is additional to that baseline, stacked on top of that polling window - 4ms (milli) here where the state of the art is 125us (micro) - so all those other important things you are considering, they still matter equally either way, but polling rate still matters a lot, too. Not to mention that at 125us per update, all those other matters you might be referring to, absolutely need to be taken care of... If you see a controller that will actually generate real data at a polling rate of 8kHz, it's implied that they've taken care of everything they can, to achieve the lowest latency. Component capabilities vary weekly and I'm not in the industry any more, but I'd hazard a guess that the same 'if the polling rate is that high, the other stuff is fine too' rule would extend to 4k and 2k at least. Expecting 10s or even 100s of microseconds of delay at the component level is pretty fair. Meanwhile, meeting the deadline for USB polling is not difficult at 4ms on any suitable microcontroller from recent years. All those other things that do '= latency', don't really matter at 250Hz anyhow. You sure don't need a full 4ms to read a couple dozen voltages. So yeh, we should care about polling rate anyway, it defines the best we are gonna get from the device... but, anything over 1k (if it's REALLY generating 2/4/8,000 updates per second) poll rate pretty much does '= latency'. Well, '= latency *
