That guy is the main villain of the 4th Arc of Jojo called Kira Yoshikage. He is a serial killer who kills people for sexual gratification with his Stand called Killer Queen. His Stand's ability is to turn objects into Bombs and blow the target out of existence (not even ashes remains. Probably turned to dust). Due to Stands being invisible to normal people and considered a kind of supernatural phenomenon, all the people that he killed were reported as missing and he cannot be proven guilty. The Stand users of the town decided to band together to apprehend this serial killer when they realised what is going on in their town.
As stated earlier that his Stand's power is to turn objects into Bombs, he turned the kid into a Groundhog Day landmine. This is an exceptionally powerful Time related ability. The kid discovered his true identity and the Stand users are closing in on him. So whenever the kid is approached by someone and was questioned regarding him, the landmine will activate and blow that person who approached the kid out of existence. This is followed by him turning back time by an hour to erase the evidence of the kid having met any of these people. These people who was bombed and killed in the previous time loop will die in the subsequent time loops regardless of having met the kid in the current time loop or not. This effectively lets him kill his pursuers while staying hidden and destroying all evidence at the same time. You can see @10:25 after the explosion triggered by the kid landmine he started to travel back in time.

-Host meets target (Josuke and others)
-Stand blows up target
-Explosion causes time to be looped back in 1 hour
-Everything that happened during that hour is fated to happen again (including deaths)
-The kid is desperate because he can't do shit to prevent deaths from happening again
-Rinse and repeat
-The user doesn't know who the Stand killed, and is defenseless while the ability is active, unless he calls back his Stand, thus undoing the ability

The long and short of it is that the Ultimate Move for the guy with the mask, Kars, upgrades him into a new mode, so rather than just one attack it affects how he moves and fights for the rest of the match, which is related to events in the story itself.
That's kinda like when Kazuya in Tekken does that one special attack and transforms into Devil for the rest of the round.

10:20 - So, essentially, Bites the Dust is a time-related ability. Kosaku has his Stand, Killer Queen, enter a host who knows his true identity (in the case, this kid). If the host meets a target intended by Kosaku, Killer Queen will enter the target's eye and explode the target, triggering a time loop that rewinds 1 hour. The host will know what happened during that timespan, but can't avoid or prevent anything that happened during that time, since once an event happens, it becomes fate (so, if a target is killed by the Bites the Dust ability, they'll die either way, even if the host doesn't meet them). However, the ability can be undone if Kosaku calls back Killer Queen, and Kosaku is unaware of who died and who didn't. Kosaku is also completely defenseless while Bites the Dust is active. It's a pretty powerful, but highly situational abilitiy.

But if used right, it could potentially wipe out several of Yoshikage's enemies within a relatively small time frame (relative to him, anyway). That must be what he realized.
Some of the Characters and Stands names are named after western bands, albums, and music.
For example:
-Esidisi (The guy with boiling blood). His name is a direct reference to AC/DC.
-Trish's stand, Spicy Lady (Spice Girl in the original). Is a reference to the English Pop Band, The Spice Girls
-Mr. Zippers name in the original is Sticky Fingers, directly named after the Rolling Stones album of the same name.
-Cool Ice's name in the original is Vanilla Ice. Directly named after the American rapper of the same name

Bites the Dust (another one bites the dust) which is a I guess "sub-stand" of Killer Queen, Red Hot Chili Pepper, Foo Fighters, Kiss, Vanilla Ice, Bad Company, etc. etc. Almost every one has to be renamed in the localization too because of copyright.
I definitely recommend watching the anime as the entire series has just concluded with the final episode of Jojo Part 6: Stone Ocean. Part 7 Steel Ball Run and Part 8 Jojolion are in a separate universe and are not continuations off of 1-6
Watching Jojo's will definitely let you understand more about the world and how things work and what is what, and i'm pretty sure in many cases if anything Jojo related is said out of context it will not make any sense at all, which is a common thing for Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, however it is a good idea for you, if you want to, to look around a little more to make sure you get what you're looking for before (if) you end up deciding to watch the show :)
Edit: also there may be some cases in the show at times where there's a little much to take in, but a few seconds of processing will let you understand what's going on easily

Like a lot of other comments have said, out of context Jojo can be really difficult to understand and it seems super complex, but if you watch it from episode 1 everything has an explanation and it is relatively easy to follow everything that goes on. If you do want to understand more I would really recommend just watching the show as that is the best way to get any type of information about the world and characters.

The joke with Ghiaccio is that the play was called Merchant from Venice instead of Merchant from Venezia but Paris gets a pass.
The last character (the BARABARABARA one) is from another manga series called Baoh, also written by Araki like Jojo was.
The blood ink is a censor thing and an aesthetic choice meant to make it look like the game is straight out of the panels of the manga

To explain Kosaku(Yoshikage Kira) Ability. Here's the TL:Dr version. REWIND.
Long version(From the wiki page):
Bites The Dust creates a temporal loop, "blowing up" time to roughly one hour prior to the detonation.Because Bites the Dust is completely independent and autonomous, Kira is not aware of who is killed by it, nor is he directly aware of whether a time loop has taken place.In fact, the only person who retains the memory of each time loop is the person harboring Bites the Dust. All actions performed in the previous time loop are destined to occur as they had happened.Slight deviations may happen, but any person killed by Bites the Dust in a previous time loop is destined to explode at the exact time that they were previously killed, even if they did not re-activate Bites the Dust in the current timeline.

Always funny to watch people who have limited context on JoJo watch this kind of stuff. To give some context for the guy who pulls out the kid. That's the main villain of Part 4, Yoshikage Kira and halfway through, he escapes and changes his identity completely to become Kosaku Kawajiri. He kills and impersonate a married salaryman with a wife and child. Said child is the one he pulls out. The kid was getting suspicious as to what his dad was doing as his dad was acting different now so he followed him around to find out what was going on.
Yoshikage Kira's stand is Killer Queen, it has two bombs initially, first is a general bomb that completely destroys something and his second bomb is Sheer Heart Attack which attacks the warmest object and is practically invincible. He gains a third bomb called Bites the Dust that allows him to blow up time. By placing his stand in his not son son Hayato, nobody is able to question Hayato about anything as trying to do so will result in Killer Queen blowing them up and resetting time by an hour. Where only Hayato is aware of what's going on. It's a Groundhog Day Effect really. Even if Hayato avoids the person he accidentally killed before, they will die anyway. That special is a reference to this ability as by having Hayato bump into the person, they're able to be attacked by Bites the Dust so time resets.
I think y’all would get a huge kick outta the Chainsawman opening and endings, they’re fuckin’ crazy. Little bit different from your usual fare, what with it being anime related and all, but Chainsawman is really popping off right now. And the videos have fantastic, incredibly varied musical styles and visuals.
We’ve been hearing more and more about it and keep meaning to check it out, at least the trailers for it but just keep forgetting and stuff keeps coming up 😅

yay, more jojo! the story is a lot of fun, it keeps throwing weird new twists in. i also think lore snippets is probably a good way to get into it, because starting jojo from episode 1 is deceptively hard. it’s a bit like team four star in that the author was finding his voice in the early stuff but then really starts to flourish in season 2. the reward is Absolutely worth the risk, though. in the meantime, maybe another jojo death battle will come along. who knows? and great vid as always 💚

16:40 his Stand "soft and wet" lets him take any aspect he wants from something but it has to be a physical thing like friction the ability to produce sound stuff like that... also as it is a fusion of Killer Queen and the original Soft and Wet(because he is a fusion of alternate universe Kira and a new guy named Josefumi) he can also produce exploding bubbles(because alternate universe Killer Queen has the ability to produce exploding bubbles instead of turn things into bombs by touching them)

About the gun guy's stand. His gun shoots normal bullets, but his stand can fit inside the chamber and be fired along with the bullet itself.
The guy in 9:50 is the same person as the guy in 10:08. Kira Yoshikage, the main villain of 4th Jojo . His ability is to turn things into a bomb with a finger from his stand. He's also a serial killer. When he was exposed, he murdered a man and forced another Stand user to remove his face and finger prints and give him the features.
His other face is named Kosaku Kowajari, and he gained the ability to reverse time/cause a time loop with "Bites The Dust"

11:40 - You can see Fugo breaking a small bead with his mouth and releasing a purple smoke, that's Purple Haze's ability, he has those on his knucles and that smoke contains a flesh-eating virus resulting anyone who comes in contact with it to disintegrate.
16:07 - For Funny Valentine's case, D4C or Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap can bring anyone on/from a parallel world. When someone touches the other them, they'll both disintegrate (This doesn't apply to Valentine).

8:57 there what is called stands. All the ones you saw earlier where the other things were doing the fighting and not the people those were all stands. Like star Platinum, magicians red, silver chariot, and all that. The Hamon was just part of the first two seasons and after that it became non-existent pretty much and the stands took over. It's pretty much like having a spirit with you at all times that does the fighting but can also only be hurt by other spirits. Kind of like a pokémon that's connected to you physically
One thing I've seen other reaction channels do is watching all the openings for anime that they've been recommended. I think that could be a good way for you to get further into anime that you've been diving into (Dragon Ball, Jojo, Naruto, etc.)
Also, I find it funny that this video goes up the same day they announce 2 more characters and a stage being added to the game as part of a free update

OK for what I can remember here’s some of the explanations or misunderstanding still correct for you. 1. Dio in part 1 actually does break his victim into pieces when he froze them, they just can’t do that for the game, 2. Ceasers bubble cutters refract light so once in place they become lens and since puller men die from the sun it a way to direct hamon he creates at them. 3. The mystery woman was Lisa Lisa, Joseph’s teacher/mother. 4. Old Joseph isn’t using barbed wire, his stand is actually thorny vines. 5. Vanilla ice’s stand which looks like a red orb is actually a void that leads to a different dimension and anything he touches is completely disintegrated. 6. Killer queens “bite the dust” is a special ability that can be placed into a person and if anyone tries to learn Kira’s true identity from the person “bites the dust” is inside it will enter there eye, blow them up, then rewind time 1 hour, and everything will play out the same except the person who died before will just randomly blow up again without the time rewind unless he deactivates the power before it was supposed to happen, also he knows time rewind up until the hour restarts, then he technically has his kind reset to but can deduce what happened. 7. King crimson can basically skip time forward for everything except himself, during that time everyone will preform the actions they were going to do in that frame of time and can’t change what happens, so he skips the actions of people and only the effect of what would happen is left. only diavolo can act freely in the skipped time, his is probably the hardest stand to explain. Hopefully some of these help understand the craziness that is the world of jojo
OH! And some stands have the potential to evolve and grow, like koichis echos, it becomes the little robot guy for its final form after koichi grows more confident in himself, same for Johnny joestar and tusk (the horse guy with the big pink stand) it changes four times as Johnny grows as a person
Annnnd fugos “ink” scenes is actually a killer virus housed in the capsules on his stands fists, when the stand punch’s something/someone they break open and infect anyone in range shutting down there internal organs and basically liquifying them in about a minute, but the sun kills the bacteria so it dies off soon after, he bites and spits it at the start as a nod to how his stand changes in a novel staring him
10:34 "bites the dust" basically the stand Killer Queen enters someones eye makes them explode and rewinds time by 1 hour while also trapping them in a loop of exploding and time being rewound by 1 hour until Kira gets bored of watching them die... it's basically a less horrifying version of Golden Experience Requiems "infinite death" ability

If you don’t mind spoilers (it’s hard to not spoil things in JoJo, especially lore, since you need references/context), Hamon Beat breaks down the concept of the Stands power system (also touched upon are the Hamon and Spin power systems in JoJo.) There’s also Kaleb I.A. who breaks down the timeline of the main JoJos with the JoJo Timeline 1 & 2 videos. These 3 videos are possibly the best videos of easing into JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Essentially Guido's stand Sex Pistols guides his bullet. They are referred to as 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 because Guido is superstitious and doesn't use 4.
You're right on everything going a bit fast, the entire first part is like 7 episodes, there are MANY times where characters show up then either waltz off to god knows where or die in like 4 minutes, and I don't think there is a single fight in the series that lasts longer than 12. But I do highly recommend watching the anime or reading the manga for the context to some things, it seriously helps.

slight spoilers: i mean diego brando is technically dio brando from another time line due to the fact that in part 7 that is when the reboot happened, so johnny joestar is johnathon joestar from part 1, gyro zeppeli is like ceaser zeppeli (personality wise) and baron zepelli (role wise) josuke from part 8 is the counterpart to josuke from part 4, but part 8 josuke is a fusion of josefumi kujo (aka joseph joestar and jotaro kujo) and yoshikage kira's part 8 counterpart that share the same name

OK, so Sex Pistols (the little bullet guys) are basically six little stands. They aren't the bullets themselves, but they help Mista (the user) redirect the bullets by kicking and riding them to change their trajectory. They can also kick one bullet, splitting them into fragments that also fire with the force of a gun

im gona try to explain Kira yoshikage especial atack. he basically have a stand that can create bombs. but later in the serie he gain more power and created a especial bomb to cover his secret identity. the son of the guy he was impersonating discovered he was fake, so he planted this especial bomb in him so if the kid try to ask someone for help or reveal his real identity is stand can explode them and then time rewind back one day and tell him about it.

cool ice's stand, cream (hehe), has the ability of having a portal to another dimension in it's mouth. When cream eats itself, it turns into a ball of nothingness that erases anything in it's path.
Okuyasu's stand, the hand has a similar ability. This time, the hand's right hand is able to scrape at virtually anything and erase the space the hand touches. This erased space is then filled by surrounding space or material, to kinda weld it back together. killer queen's 3 ability is to plant the stand into someone's eye. The stand will activate if it senses that someone is trying to find out the users identity. When it activates, it explodes anyone who activated it. except the carrier, who is sent back in time couple hours or so. Anyone who has exploded previously from the stand, is fated to explode again.

Stands don't appear in JoJo until the 3rd major arc in the series. In this arc, the stand abilities are a bit on the simplistic side. After the 3rd arc, stand abilities become more imaginative and out there. And more often than not, the villains know the heroes' powers from the start while the heroes are completely in the dark about their enemies. One of the biggest appeals of JoJo is that the heroes have to learn their enemy's powers and find a weakness all in the heat of a surprise attack, or die trying.
Fun fact: Diego Brando's Stand is called Scary Monsters and Ghiaccio's Stand is called White Album.

Just some information. Jojo is from anime (originally manga means comic book) and yeah the lore is really big and quite complex.
And Jojo supposed to be eargasm. Means the sound effects supposed to be bass boosted loud. But in the game since it was made only after the anime part 3 comes out which is do the bass boosted, the game only made it for part 3 which is jotaro and Dio you heard the sound effect quite loud. Then the rest they just made up some decent sound effects, for me not that satisfying.
And Jojo supposed to be gory, bloody , and quite disturbing. But the game made it friendly so that's why the blood censored black like a ink.
