Yeah, Izuku's dad isnt in the picture. He's mentioned a few times and that's it. The man has never even been seen. The only things that we know about him are his name, that he and Izuku's mother are still married, that he's constantly working abroad and that his power is the ability to breathe fire.
Just to clear up confusion when you saw the characters in the video fighting an opponent it wasn’t always someone in the same anime as them. Also for clarification on Cell he only transforms when he gets the androids 17 & 18, if absorbs someone else it’s through draining like what he did to citizens in the various cities
So it powers him up but it doesn’t change him like it did when he absorbed the androids 🤔
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames exactly! Dr Gero made Cell achieve his perfect form through absorbing 17 & 18. Which is why he was so desperate to absorb them specifically in the first place
But there is the What If in Budokai Tenkaichi 2 where he accidentally absorbed Krillen instead of 18 and he became significantly weaker, but then after that What If mission it apparently ended up just being a nightmare for him
It's cool how they noticed Yoruichi's fangs (electric stripper kitty is a great nickname btw) because she is a cat lady- or nekomimi, but she spent much of her time in her regular cat form rather than her humanoid one.
Another fun fact about Yoruichi is that she's a nudist, which "poor" Ichigo (ginger haired guy with the big sword) learned first hand.

Yugi Muto (26:50) and his rival Seto Kaiba (31:57) are from the series “Yu-Gi-Oh!”, also the name of the real life Trading Card Game. They use their cards to fight, called Duel Monsters. Yugi uses his ace monsters Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl. Kaiba uses his Blue-Eyes White Dragon and it’s fusion form of three Blue Eyes, the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon.
And their Ultimate monsters are the Egyptian God Cards, Slifer the Sky Dragon and Obelisk the Tormentor, the strongest cards in their series other than Exodia and the third Egyptian God, Winged Dragon of Ra.
I'd like to see you react to Supers from "One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows" and "My Hero One's Justice 2." Both more anime fighting games from series I think you'd like, they're both based around superheroes.
Also, the characters Yugi and Kaiba are from the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! It's based entirely around a card game, and the beings they summon are actually some of their cards. Yu-Gi-Oh was also the first series to get an Abridged Series (similar to DBZ) and the guy who made Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged voices Freeza and the Narrator in DBZ Abridged.

In the old budokai tenkaichi dragon ball games, cell in his first or second form could absorb the androids and power up to his final form throughout the fight if you wanted

Oh trust me. The budokai series has tons of references and lil details and easter eggs to the series. There are videos about it.
The 2 characters you talk about on 48:50 are Yugi Muto (Yami Yūgi) and Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh. Fun fact the Yu-Gi-Oh trading cards should just been merch to the show and manga. But people got so curios on how to play the game that they actual needed to make rules. This is how the card game started.
Alright, breakdown time!
The two warriors in armor that turn gold are from an anime called Saint Seiya, they're based off of constolations in space and also mythology. There was Seiya (The arrow guy) and Dragon Shiryu.
The man with the guns is from a manga called City Hunter. His name is Ryo, and he was taught Guirella Warfare after crashing in Central America. Normally he's a cop.
The one's with the swords and numbers are from Bleach, one of my all time favorite anime's. First is Ichigo Kurosaki, the main hero, who can harness powers of powerful creatures (Further knowledge is big spoilers). The second is Renji Abarai, a Soul Reaper from the Soul World (They help people cross over and protect from threats). The arm that he grows is from his sword, a more powered up form of it. Third is Aizen, the big villain for a good chunk of the series. The numbers he uses are called Hado's, or incantation spells that have different attacks, with Black Coffin being EXTREMELY powerful and hard to master. The girl is Rukia, an ally of Ichigo who teaches him.
The Rock Paper Scissors kid is Gon from Hunter X Hunter. From my understanding, the story of that hair is him accessing his fully adult powers, but the cost is he cant use his powers for a while after doing this because it reverts him back into a kid.
'Blackheart from Marvel' is Yusuke urameshi, a Spirit Detective from Yu Yu Hakusho. He is a descendant of one of the three demonic kings of the Otherworld and that transformation wears him out. The big buff dude with sunglasses is Younger Toguro, who is able to increase his power by percentages. With each percent increase, the buffer he gets.
The red haired samurai is Kenshin Himura from Samurai X/Wanderer Kenshin. He uses a reverse bladed sword that can hurt, but not kill. The mummy samurai is Makoto Shishio, an enemy from Kenshin's past, he wears the bandages due to extremely bad burns on his body.
Next up is Yugi, from Yu Gi Oh, an anime about...of all things? A card game. Yugi is the King of Games thanks to harnessing the spirit of an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh, and uses his cards to summon monsters to aid him.

Just to make things clear with Gon, he "gave up" his "future", or put another way his "potential", in exchange for gaining the power to destroy his opponent in the most brutal way possible.
It is not that he loses his powers, but after having made that "exchange", he should not be alive, but he is the protagonist, so Plot Armor + Deus ex Machina, and Gon was left alive but losing all his powers in the process .
That's why in the game the character "dies" after using that Ultimate.

They reason gokus voice is so high pitch is because all the voices for all the characters is in Japanese
Yeah and believe it or not; Goku’s been voiced by a woman ever since the original Dragon Ball series
And its for sure like 10x better, the amount of emotion they put into their characters is not comparable to the dub

Japanese people aren't genetically predisposed to being high pitched, the real reason is because Goku's voice actor, who is a woman, was directed to sound that way

It's the same situation as people know JOJO because of the memes but only because of the memes, most probably watch but Hokuto No Ken doesn't get the same treatment.
I honestly used to enjoy playing online battles in Jump force. But Bandai had to remove it unfortunately because of these people hating on the cut scenes and no lip syncing at all in the story mode. Which I kinda agree with. But people went to far. For a game with potential
The one with Dragonball hair and uses the cute magicians is Muto Yugi, the main character of the anime Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters. The guy with the 3 headed dragon is his rival Kaiba Seto. The anime is about them playing a modern popular card game, which in truth was an actual evil Shadow Game played by Ancient Egyptian priests using real monsters that come from the Shadow Realm or the Egyptian Underworld. The monsters were sealed and carved into hieroglyphic Stone Tablets during Ancient Egyptian times. The Shadow Game had been translated into modern card games by the "creator" of this card game, called Pegasus. In his travels Pegasus stumbled across an ancient Egyptian temple filled with Stone Tablets with Monster Carvings on them. He merely drew their likeness and gave them life again in the form of cards. However, there are some monsters that are so powerful that even in modern card form, their powers from ancient times were still invoked and called forth even in modern times as a form of supernatural occurrence. One such example is the 3 Egyptian God cards, which happen to be the trump cards, or their ultimate skills in this game and video, that they were using. What Kaiba called forth was Obelisk the Giant God Soldier, or the War God Obelisk. The giant dragon Yugi used was Osiris the Sky Dragon, or the Sky God Osiris. The third and most powerful God card that is not shown is Ra the Winged God Dragon, or the Sun God Ra. The English translated names are kinda bad, so I always stuck to the Japanese ones.
Anyway, the plot of the story is that the main character is actually a soul sealed into a pyramid puzzle, which a kid named Muto Yugi solved. By solving the puzzle, the soul entered the body of Yugi and kind of became a split personality alter ego of Yugi. It was until they visited an Egyptian museum that they saw a Stone Tablet depicting Alter Yugi in a Shadow Game that they discovered the soul was actually a person that lived in ancient Egyptian times and not just a split personality. The curator who was secretly the Grave Keeper of the Nameless Pharaoh revealed that the soul belonged to the Nameless Pharaoh whose name was lost in time. The key to getting his name and memories back (the Pharaoh soul inside Yugi has amnesia), is to gather the 3 Egyptian God cards that are the key to his past, and the very Stone Tablet on display that recorded the events of the past. This is because the 3 Egyptian Gods, the most powerful of monsters, served as his faithful servants during his time as Pharaoh and answered only to him. So he joined a tournament taking place inside an entire city, where the modern bearers of the 3 God cards are also participating. This tournament was actually a scheme by Kaiba for a single player to gather all 3 God cards, making him the ultimate player. There's an ante rule in the tournament, so the winner can get a card from the loser.
Goku does indeed sound like that in Japanese. He's voiced by a woman who's been voicing him since Goku was a kid during Dragonball. She also does the voice for Gohan and Goten, and changes the inflection for reach of them to make them distinct, but tonally similar. All of the DBZ characters in this game make use of the Japanese voice cast from the show.
In the English dub, Goku has a deeper voice, and is voiced by a male voice actor. But his English VA is really good and has comic timing is great. If you do go on to watch the actual DBZ show, I'd recomend DBZ Kai. It uses the current cast of voice actors (who are vastly superior to the original English dub from back in the day), cuts out most of the (admittedly very bad) filler, and is just a more digestible story.
The techniques Aizen were using were from the Shinigami schools of hado (destructive magic) and bakudo (binding magic). Each school has 99 spells in it, with 1 being the weakest and 99 being the strongest. Only very, very powerful characters can use spells in the 90s, and Aizen is one of only a handful of people who can do them without "chanting" i.e. reciting the spell incantation when casting (the subtitles incorrectly translate this as 'enchanting', but he said 'chanting').
So he's not a mathmatician, but he is a super-genius, highly skilled in all the martial arts of the Shinigami, and one of the most powerful characters in the show. Arguably the most powerful after Ichigo and the final antagonist.
"Electric Stripper Kitty" is Yoruichi. Yeah, she's pretty sexualised. The lack of cloth in her back is because her ability 'shunko' releases energy from the back and shoulders (that's the excuse anyway, and the writer is sticking to it). I have no idea what the excuse for the thigh highs is. But, she is a badass character and is really, really strong. Bleach does tend to portray female characters as being strong and capable, even though there's no doubt all the girls in it are drawn to be sexy.
Sexy and badass works for us with Yoruichi 😀 and yes DBZ Kai is the way we are going but just doing the Fat Kirby saga and picking up where DBZA left off 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames DBZ Abridge is just people on youtube doing a fake dub of the anime and is not official at all, the official Dragon ball shows are Dragon ball, Dragon ball Z/Z Kai, Dragon ball GT and Dragon Ball Super.
Dragon ball take place from when Goku was a kid up to his marrige with Chi-Chi, Dragon ball Z take place after that up to the Buu saga (aka fat kirby) then the show splits you could say that the original Z go into dragon ball GT, wile Z kai go into dragon ball Super, but Dragon ball Super is meent to be the offical continueation of the dragon ball manga.

As much as I want to say I agree...I don't. Few reasons:
1) Fans always spoil. I have yet to see ANY reactor not spoiled by fans. They really go out of their way to spoil a few things even when the reactors don't read comments (which they do), they DM them. Just to be clear not saying all fans do...that should be logically clear. Also not saying they could just ignore comments...but why punish everyone (since they read comments) because of a rabid fan base.
2) Never ends...I know ppl irl that passed away and were One Piece fans, they'll never see the One Piece. I'd imagine some complication is likely to happen if shows drag on too long, not saying it'll do Highschool of the Dead or Berserk (where the author died), but it's seriously been going on for decades.
3) Toei are very very against reactors. Even edited Manga panels get slapped when talking about One Piece.
@@peternash7104 I don't think he's talking about reacting to the series, they probably wouldn't anyway because there's over 1055 episodes and still ongoing... They obviously aren't concerned with "spoilers" if they're watching Ultimate compilations.
@@dontreadmyprofilepicture8817 Well it's not like they even remember some of the stuff anyways. Because they're not into it, there's moments with other games or anime where it was explained (even Death Battle) and they don't remember. That's not to say they can't it's just a lot to take it. One Piece is a very very slow burning show. You can honestly sum up every episode to 3 or less sentences, sometimes having nothing pushing the plot forward. Doesn't take anything away from it. But the fan base killed a lot of reactions and Toei killed the other half.

It’s such a massive story that it can’t be told in 24 episodes like most anime, there’s constant plot even when the main characters aren’t at the forefront of the story.
@@dontreadmyprofilepicture8817 It is slow burning, that's not an issue. It took how many chapters to have the first significant death? How many chapters to reveal the Pirate King's bounty? It's not a secret there's literally no reason for that to be hidden given how desperate the gov was to take him down, he needed his bounty known. Same with many many other reveals. The gov needs to flex to discourage pirates. No reason the warlords took so long to be revealed, ect, ect.
Again this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Oda tends to give crumbs all over the place so he can revisit it later.
Honestly I don't recall if there's been any thing quickly done. Many times a main character needs at least 2 arcs. Similar to how Mass Effect has loyalty missions on top of the mission to get nakama. Not an issue to me but I would be lying if I said this isn't a issue for people who try to get into it. Had a friend who wouldn't get into due to the art style. Then years later he dropped it because East Blue was boring...then years later again dropped it shortly after the Red Line. Because the show got a little nonsensical how it basically slowed down by buffing every enemy with powers (that are suppose to be rare and secretive) then added some events (not spoiling) that just seem to be there to drag on the adventure. His words not mine.
35:13 funny story he kinda was turned in the chocolate once. In the arc after the arc where they fight Cell, there’s a moment where Goku and Vegeta fuse into one person and they get turned into chocolate, but because they were so strong in that form, they were still able to fight as that piece of chocolate

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I'd recommend the games first, not because the anime is bad (It's actually amazingly done), but the anime is over 1000+ episodes long now and the games do a pretty good job of compressing it into a more reasonable options plus it's multiplayer so there's a plus to it

Jump Force is a game filled with spoilers from animes that are around over 1000+ episodes long, so of course there'd be stuff people would struggle to recognize, unfortunately not much of the characters really stick to their personalities in the story, only the One Piece characters, but hey, you gotta appreciate that they have a bunch of references to the actual animes.

For animes in this game I think you'd enjoy watching, My Hero Academia you'd certainly find some entertainment from, the world full of super heroes and super villians after inexplainable genetics causes super powers to appear in people, Bakugo, All Might, Deku and Todoroki are from this world, Bakugo has explosive sweat, All Might has the power of One for All, Todoroki has half-fire half-ice powers and Deku starts off Quirkless (Born with no powers manifesting in him).
Yeah, the supers in this game lack a lot of impact, or are references to events that happen so far into the story that some less knowledgeable players/fans might get whiplash.
Not to mention that a few of them have wierd camera angles that make me feel disoriented while watching them.
An overall “meh” in terms of quality.
Yeah, I honestly find using Gon's.. transformation.. as a super incredibly disconnected, considering the extreme circumstances which triggered it. It's not exactly an ability he has, it's the rules of Nen(the Hunter X Hunter power system) taken to an extreme with Contracts and Restrictions.
I really love how this game has few characters from cartoons or anime.
A funny thing about Frieza's move where he throws the two discs is that they can actually hurt him if he touches it himself, like how he cuts himself apart when fighting Goku

the mummy samurai/swordsman, that is Makoto Shishio, he is wrapped in bandages because he was burned alive and left for dead at the end of the Bakumatsu, a civil war in Japan that brought about the Meji era in the 1800s, Shishio believes the Meji government is too weak and wants to go back to the old ways where Japan attacks first and ask questions later as well as keeping themselves isolated, which Meji government didn't do, the red haired swordsman, with the red tunic, is Shishios rival and hero of the series, Kenshin Himura.

What other menace stops time that can only be stopped for 9 seconds, Fly ALL THE WAY TO A CONSTRUCTION SITE, pick a steamroller, and then FLY ALL THE WAY BACK to crush someone with it... DIO is a top tier menace

This game was crazy to show Old Classic anime to New Era Anime in one game as it shows so much details for having real life graphics mix anime style 😄 also there is some sad news that you won’t be able to find this game being popular since I believe the fans of each anime didn’t know about the game or feeling it wasn’t living up the hype train for media audiences. But I am glad to see you both react to all specials.
All is left for anime fighting game are being “My Hero: One Justice 1 or 2” as the second one have English dub audio let you hear English speaking specials. Also Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles have released some new specials in their game. Check out the DLC pack of the game and you be good with that game specials 😄

The reason he is Perfect Cell is because 17 & 18 are needed to advance the stages for Cell because of Dr. Gero's programming & how those 2's systems work. If he absorbs anyone it would do nothing & absorbing Goku wouldn't necessarily change his physical appearance beautiful he already has Goky's DNA in him. Any time he gets non canon transformations they make him a big bug monster. Or an orange Cell Jr as a gag absorbing Krillin. But that was a one time joke.

one thing I will say is that I really wish it played the "static" part of golden wind whenever Giorno hits with his ultimate attack.
Oh dang wasn’t expecting to see some jump force, my favorite series from this game is definitely One Piece!
One of the series highlighted in here is Yu Yu Hakusho. I'm not sure if it's team 4 star, or just Lanipator from team four star, but he did a Yu Yu Hakusho Abridged. So I know you're going to enjoy reacting to that series if you wanted some of the same style of humor, but also the show itself is actually pretty great and holds up well.
There's also the option to watch the Abridged series that started all the abridged series- Yugioh the Abridged series. Yugi and Kaiba (the guy with the blue eyes white dragon), are two featured characters from there who summoned egyption gods to attack with. It's also a great abridged series and you'll recognize the voice of the creator, Little Kuriboh, who often featured on Dragon Ball Z Abridged as the narrator.
The one that summon the 2 stands is called yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh. He turns trading cards into real creatures and effects. Fairy girl is actually called dark magician girl and the other one is her mentor a guy dark magician. And the big red dragon he summons is actually a god card. And the one with the dragon and dragon with 3 heads is actually his rival and uses the big blue buff god monster

While arguably among the slowest/weakest characters in this game's roster, Rurouni Kenshin is one of my favorite animes partly because the protagonist, Kenshin Himura, was inspired by stories about a real-life Japanese swordsman.

The protagonist of the 1991 anime Dragon quest Dai no daibouken also got a remake in 2020 and ended with 100 chapters bone 2 years of emission since the old version was unfinished due to lack of budget of the animation studio
But if you have the opportunity to see it, look at it, it is worth it to be an anime of one of the oldest and most iconic franchises of Japan.
