I have been loving this mic for months now
You sound great in the video's.
I have always been very happy with the DJI Mic 1. It sounds fantastic. These new tests from Mic 1 to the Mic 2 it gives the illusion that the Mic 1's have been okay, but now the Mic 2's are here how could I have lived without them scenario and giving us the impression that DJI Mic 1's now suck and the Mic 2 is far superior.
I like the DJI Mic 1 and they do a very good job. If I didn't have either of these and the Mic 1 and Mic 2 were both options with a slightly different price, then sure I'd go for the next gen, but that being said. I don't really see any reason to switch?

Hey man! Love your content! As a fellow videographer, audio monitoring is key for me. I've been trying to connect my DJI Pocket 3 or DJI Mic 2 to my bone conduction headphones via Bluetooth while recording for wireless audio monitoring. I've asked around on TH-cam and the DJI forum but no luck so far. Any chance you could share a wireless solution? Thanks a bunch!...... really appreciate your help here...
One more question, if you are recording 32 bit float, then you don't really need to adjust the audio levels (DB) do you? Such a great video this is well done!
Can this mic also be plugged in to an iPhone? Is it fully supported? Guess not, huh? Which format do the exported output audio files have?

Thanks Billy. I hope you can answer this question. I video concerts locally for people, just with my Samsung Galaxy smartphone smartphones mic, how much of a difference would adding these be do you think for audio quality?
Audio is mor eimportant than the picture quality wheich is usually fine enough on most things now if only uploading to TH-cam etc. I'd say this mic will improve your output a lot. That 32 bit float is a reason to consider this mic.
Small, compact, and very useful, the case and idea behind it are great, but in the end, the sound of the Rode Wireless PRO is way better, with rich bass.
What's the story with the 🇨🇦 hat?

How does the DJI Mic 2 compare to the Rode Wireless Pro? I was about to order the Rode Wireless Pro, but am unsure of which to get now after the release of the DJI Mic 2. I shoot mainly weddings and vlogs. Thanks!
I also am wondering about this comparison, especially two things: 1) how does the recording directly from the transmitters only sound (DJI 2 sounds good per this video but not as great as what I get from the Rode Pros -add lavaliers and both sound equally good). 2) It was wasn't clear that one could simultaneously record on the transmitter and also send to the receiver which would result in two versions of the audio. Great video by the way, awesome shallow dive into why 32-bit float is such a great deal.
I did a bit more research so I'm replying to my own previous reply... both systems DO allow for simultaneous transmitter recording .and. transmitting... however good to note (for both) that 32-bit float recording is only done on the transmitters while the transmitted recording will not be 32-bit. After seeing/hearing several samples, the Rode Pro transmitters does record voice that's slightly fuller (less distant/echo-y sound) but that is equalized out if you use any post production processing or even use a lav.
The real question is how did you make the DJI Mic 2 sound so bad as opposed to other reviewers out there.
