      Yeah, that's exactly I though, he forgot to swap stadiums and facilities between the teams, so all of the 12 teams were doing half of their games in the UK and the other half in Brazil, that's not cost effective at all and most likely hurt their physical conditions between matches.
      I would like to see it fully swapped between them as a more reasonable test.

    Hi Tom, I love your content but sometimes I feel like you don’t know crucial things for these experiments. I think with me are a lot of people that knew Brazilian teams cannot have that many foreigners in their team and I feel like you should have edited the English clubs squads so the players would all be Brazilian, to give them a fair chance to compete. If you do something like this again maybe it’s worth it to do a test run beforehand and actually take charge of a switched team for a few months before you start the actual experiment, because then you can be aware of these things. I have seen other cases where I felt like you should have known something before the experiment and it ended up having an impact on the outcome (I can’t remember right now but I’m sure you do). Again I love your content, it’s very creative and I understand how much time goes in it, but this is just a small tip. Keep up the great content ❤

It's a very competitive league with different challenges such as absurd travel distances, short space between games, different conditions state to state and little time to train. That's an amazing experiment, but I feel it missed some in depth information. If the teams kept their regular players or they've changed their roster too much, if they kept receiving broadcast rights from Brazil or from PL. When it comes to money, I ended up having so many questions. Flamengo is the richest team in Brazil, mostly because of our supporters, but comparatively to PL teams, our entire league worth less than the top 2 from Prem. This has to do a lot with exchange rates and all, but it's quite impressive that they even had a fighting chance.
    Maybe you should do it again, Brazilian public on TH-cam is massive. But maybe you should try to go a bit more into their finances, rosters, movements, because that's the type of stuff we want to see.

      Real Madrid would win in Serie B easily.
      But there's one thing that I think there's not unbeatable;
      Much more hot matches that could affect fitness (specially 11am);
      The big travels between like Juventude from South-Sampaio Correia from Northeast that is likely a big trip in Europe (maybe Lisbon-Moscow distancewise);
      The fields aren't great;
      And maybe they lose some games;
      But I think talentwise the disparity is big - and for Madrid rn - they have 3 Brazilians, 1 Uruguayan that knows how to play those fields.

    Hi Tom, could you maybe try switching the bottom 10 of the Championship with the top 10 of MLS? I feel like that’s where there’s a bit of parity. Not sure how good FM23 is at managing the East/West conference system in MLS, but would be interesting to see if the worst Championship teams could compete for MLS titles, Open Cups, and CONCACAF champs league titles; and see if any of the MLS clubs can get themselves established in the PL.

    As a brazilian, I'm really happy with this video! Especially because I'm a Flamengo fan. I really think that Palmeiras and Flamengo could do well in the Premier League in real life, these two teams have a great squad and lots of money, I feel like they could battle for european places regularly.

      @SebRodriguez-t8b ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Doubt it, nothing against either of those teams in fact I’ve watched both teams live and had a great time at the games when I travelled around Brazil but the top 6 is just too good for them to get in there.

    • @peutom

      @@SebRodriguez-t8b Fair enough. I still think that Flamengo and Palmeiras can perform the same level as Aston Villa or Brighton (maybe even Tottenham today?) and fight for those European places, but maybe you're right. I guess we'll ever know 😅

      @@David-qq9bk This is a simple question of economics, whoever has more money buys better players... Europeans are filled with south american, african and even a number of asian players. In order to compete regularly, they would have equal economic conditions, and could, for example, avoid selling players who today leave for better salaries and career conditions. The differentiating factor IS money.

    Bro no joke, I think palmeiras and this season's Fluminense would be top 10 teams in every league in europe besides EPL. And if we are talking about Portugal and Netherlands I say they could fight for the title. Flamengo on it's best season was a problem for Liverpool to beat.
    Those are rock solid teams. If they get to play more often against european teams (they barely have the opportunity to do so) they can adapt and evolve really fast

      Palmeiras, Flamengo and this season's Fluminense could fight for Champions League spots in any European League except in the Premier, and could even fight for the title in countries like Portugal, the Netherlands and Turkey.
      The thing is, the only time we see Brazilian clubs facing European sides is in the Club World Cup, but then it's a squad that in theory is the best in Europe for that year.
      But I doubt these clubs would struggle playing against any club that isn't one of those that we put as likely of winning the Champions League
