Followed diligently the instructions (which I was pleased to find - THANK YOU VERY MUCH) to look at the side bumper. I was getting a fault for the bumper being stuck. After a process of elimination , I found out that the issue on the unit was not the side bumper but the top bumper. I eventually removed the cover, slightly elongated the springs, replaced it without tightening the screws too much to make sure there was a bit spring on the cover and it was back in business! Issue resolved.
Hello from Colombia in South America. I follow you and let me tell you that your channel is very good. I have a deebot ozmo 930 and the robot has strange behavior. It works well, the sensors work perfect, the vacuum is high and it makes the entire map good. But if I place the mopping system then it only works in very small spaces and says that the cleaning process is finished. Dispense water well, not excessively. but it doesn't cover the entire map. Could you guide me how to solve this problem?
Hi, I follow your videos, thanks for taking the time to do this video. My T8 AIVI got stuck on 2-4% battery, wont charge more , drops down to 2% , than charges up to 4%, and after that leaves the dock, red light is on, and it wont returned to dock. The T8 looks functional, I can enter video mode and remotely drive it around, but it wont clean because “low battery message”. It is a constant loop with this T8 . It has 4 years now. Do you think it is the battery or mainboard? Many thanks from Romania
i have a t8 aviv + 2 coil springs fell out and i forgot where they go. where do i put them so i can assemble it back together? i followed your other video to fix the main brush motor assembly
Nice instructional video, I took mine apart as T8 is pushing chairs across the floor assuming bumper sensors need to be cleaned or replaced. Not sure how these work as I'm not seeing a switch
@@ecovacstechnicalsupport5278 Thanks I was able to find the part and get it installed. Luckily on my model I did not have the rubber piece on my t8 aivi for bumper.
I have an issue, if the water tank is fitted (empty or filled with water) , the t8+ is not charging because it is not touching the charging plates if pressed from frond a little it is charging, if I removed the water tank, it is setting and touchin the plates and changing. I tried to put small paper under the base but same issue. The plates on the pase are fully up and clean. The plates in the vacuum are clean. How to fix this issue?
Hi, I'm not sure if the battery on my T8 is causing problems, but if it does, I can now change the battery - thanks to the video :-) Greetings from Germany!
Hi Mate, can you let me know how to connect the T8 Aivi deboot to Ecovas App after replacing the Motherboard. I am setting it up manually but it goes ro 90 to 95% and the gives error.I tried resetting it and now the language change to Chinese. I will appreciate your help if you can share a video of that as well
Hello, I have problems with my Deebot t8. It doesn't map, or when it does, it makes several overlapping and tilted maps. They told me that the LDS or the laser could be dirty. Could you guide me to solve the problem? Thank you so much!
After following these instructions I noticed that my bumper sensors were covered in rust so I took a little WD40 and applied it to the sensors and with a toothbrush I scrub it wiped excess with a towel temporarily put it back in a working mode tested it for over 5 minutes and no errors went ahead and completed the reassemble of unit it's working fully without any issues maybe try removing the rust with some diobolic grease some like that and scrub with a toothbrush to remove I only had WD40 so I used it
This helped a lot, thanks!
Thank you so much man. You really helped me fix my robot
Great video, help tremendously opening and my T8 to replace the mainboard
