Good vid. I like to swap focused cleave to soulmonger for a bit of extra tankiness in higher keys - with this tier set we generate so many soul fragments, especially in big pulls, and that we can be a bit more wasteful with them (as they will instantly fill back up) to give a lot of passive absorb, which in turn means we have less healing to do.
As someone that plans to come back for Season 4, I would love a video "guessing" at how the S4 tank tier list might look, based on the tier sets choosen etc etc.
The ones in the title card are Redelev House Foil, which come from the Kyrian Trial of Loyalty. The purple enchant on them is Netherflame, which you can unlock account-wide by using a Tome of Illusions: Outland (you can buy these on the auction house for a few thousand gold).
I just started tanking, on a venge DH ofc... I'm gonna be pissed if Bliz nerfs it. Instead of nerffing venge bliz should buff other thanks so they're more balanced.
Yeah, it's like if we don't run ahead, the dps specs unload everything before I can engage!!! It's like taunt has a cd or something. We would have never timed it unless the mage combustion happened before I could hit the mob lol. It's not the mage being greedy on charts or anything
They look like they're trying to escape cos we can. Group is left behind and we're soloing trash - just another day in the VDH world (don't worry, we won't die 😉)
Soul Fragments heal based on damage taken recently, you heal for a portion of all damage dealt due to Frailty, and Soul Cleave does extra healing, as well.
Thanks for the guide, i was forced to reroll since blizzard is terrible at balancing a game and the other tanks wont be taken into Dungeons anymore, and S4 is not gonna change a thing. so here i am rolling VDH to even be able to play the game
Yes DH is good tank, Not as much better than other as You make it sound. I wish we could just enjoy something being fun to play for once. soon its nerfed and ill cancel sub :)

Thanks! That setup will work for adding a little more tankiness at the cost of a bit of ST damage.
It’s such a fun spec to play, and this is coming from someone who isn’t a tank main (yet at least).
Yeah, high utility and mobility makes it very fun!
It’s fun specifically chains and all the free fel dev demon forms. But I’d rather play bear and heal my team on top of tanking.

We might be a little early for that right now, but it's something we're considering as we get more info about coming changes.

At cursor macros are useful, so we recommend those.

It's really good in raid, but lacks the unique utility that BDK and Prot Pally bring.
In M+, it's one of the strongest tanks ever.

That's how it goes when you play FotM specs, but don't count on them to get nerfed just yet.
Sadly they will nerf VDH rather than bringing the underperforming tanks (Brew/BDK etc) up to par

Hey, great video! But they are not dealing the most damage "by far". Brewmaster is very very competitive in that regard :)
They're about as far ahead of Monks as Monks are ahead of the rest of the pack-not that Monks aren't also special!
