As a 54 yr old Grandma, I approve this message. I have to chuckle, I'm not the "average" Grandma I must admit...I always wanted to learn how to drive a bobcat...that was my goal in life. Well now, I've moved on from a bobcat to a skid steer and it's jumped to the top of the Christmas list. My man just laughs at me and shakes his head, bless his heart. He doesn't think I'm serious. 500+ acre in TN NEEDS a skid steer with a Grandma on it! LOL Just because I wear dresses doesn't mean I don't like getting a little dirt on it! After this video, y'all are in Grandma's good books!
Theres a place in Pigeon Forge where they are building an amusement that you can actually learn to drive one! My goal is a mini-ex, cuz i have a 500 ft culvert i am putting pipe in and covering up and raising grade 10 feet!
@cathiwim . There's already one in Georgia I believe. I saw an episode on TH-cam about it. Years ago they came out with an amusement vending excavator you sat in a sort of cab with what looked like one if those netted cages with small balls in it kids play in. You picked up balls and dumped them in a square bucket that counted how many balls you actually got in it and you got X amount of tickets to trade for stuff at a counter. It was intended for places like Chuckie Cheese and other type places. In the early 2 thousands it cost 25 grand. Definitely not for the jukebox, pool tables, and other amusement vending equipment company I was the service manager for down in the Florida Keys. It was at the annual open house for the equipment distributor we bought equipment for the route. I tried it and it was more difficult than you'd think. Maybe with some practice I could have done better but there was a line of adult males trying to get a chance of playing with it.
Here's hoping that 1) Officer Hoover doesn't watch this episode due to your weight comment, and 2), if he does, he hasn't got connections with the FAA to report you flying the Mack.
Two people you never want to disappoint….lol.. That’s Grandma and your Mother…lol… They have a ways of communicating with their expressions that need no words…lol..😂 There’s that old sayin….If mom ain’t happy, no body is happy…Just ask Dad….lol.😂
Should drag the old dozer off the family farm and get it running and operating again. Slap a big dirt perfect sticker on it. Would be a great mini series for the channel or do a collab with Diesel Creek
@joshestess that dozer is a big reason DP went out and got the D6-9U that's currently sitting in the shed at the lot. If I remember correctly the one on the farm is in rough shape so he found one like it. Definitely worth watching if you can find the video as he goes into good detail about it all.
And grandma's reaction "a road in the air, no way. Trying to take off with a mack, impossible". LMAO you two are such a couple, i think she was hidding behind those silo to see what you two where doing and had big fun to see the two of you busy building this road. LOL
Maybe you can do a "training trip" to teach that to some county folks down here, and add "putting a berm on each side of a gravel road makes three lakes, but one has a gravel bottom!"
Well it looked pretty funny when the truck wheelied and all of a sudden Aaron quit talking I guess in shock watching you about to make a totem pole the Mack. Good video guys im sure Grandma will love her new highway. 👋
Ya, we want to see MBTS again! LOL!!! Mike, you had me going with your little game of "Look, see the dirty side of my truck?". Thanks for taking us along for the "ride". J.R.
That’s one of them holy cow moments when the front end of your truck comes off the ground. I had a load shift in my truck one time and I twisted the bed off. My truck was lying on its side. I was along for the ride and there was nothing I could do about it!
A family friend worked for the county in Mississippi when he was in high school about sixty years ago. This was in the days of single axle dump trucks. He was supposed to be dumping gravel on a county road and he forgot to open the tailgate. He raised the bed and the truck stood on its end. No damage but lots of embarrassment. He still tells that story with a laugh.
Look at you reaching for the sky grandma will be proud and happy your mom probably just laugh like we did the new skidsteer if impressive great watch 👍👋🇨🇦
Either the crew is paid by the mail or the surveyor had a magnet in his pocket in my neck of the woods . Some of these roads are so crooked you could hit yourself in the ass on a few curves .
A way to go Mike I would of played on it to . Aaron can't always be right.love it when you do off the wall things.just so Aaron can fuss about.never miss a video.
I've driven a truck for over 35 years mostly dump trucks and I've hauled huge loads and steel mills and I have only gotten the front end in the air one time tailgating material up a hill.
What a job on the home farm!! Should have had Aaron’s roller on the job!! Got to pack that dirt DP…Aaron has the disciplinary forms out for the write-up!!
When I first saw your cover shop picture of the truck getting some hang time I just figured it was Aaron trying to get taller but nope 🤣 Thanks for taking us along Mr DP
I have not laughed so hard in a very long time y'all! I've been there and seen it happen before but it's usually in alot worse spot and hasn't ever turned out that well. Kudos to you sir on keeping your composure and riding it on out!
Not confused with DP/YT time. Got used to the lag! 🤣🤣🤣 Great work as always guys. BTW 40:50 Been there. Classic! 🤣🤣🤣🤣Also scary as F!!! when it happens!
On the up side... you've now got a two lane passing place halfway up 😅 Great job and especially good seeing the old compact tractor at work. Who needs new equipment anyway... 🤣 Greetings as always from Spain 🍷
Done gone and got on Grannies wrong side! 😲 Aaron really does seem to be becoming a good equipment operator. He has taken quite a shining to it. DP goes airborne!!!🤣
You are correct I was always taught three things to make a road good drainage, drainage drainage, which is all part of the road definitely needs to be higher than the ditch
Good morning fellas!☀️ MBTS has become a first class skid steer operator. You don't seem to like skid steers so Aaron has filled the gap. Keep up the good work guys!!!! 👍❤️📹🤔😁
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Haven’t seen a ride that fun looking since David’s farm’s red neck roller coaster. Road looks good. Wishing you and your family the best.
Mike, I have to say my favorite part about that Hyundai skid steer is NO DEF! As a mechanic who dabbles in diesels, DEF and the SCR system was just one more consumable and one more system to cost customers money. I’m sure it’s just as annoying for you even with the thunder creek trailer (assuming your 210 takes it because it’s stage 5 emissions).
This video tells us we need to see both skid steers in one video. I'm thinking this new one really might be something of a new approach. Would be very interested to see them both discussed side by side. Be well.😉
Hyundai track and skid loaders manufactured (for the next few years) by South Korea's Daedong corp. They are the parent company for Kioti tractors. Thanks Mom and Grandma Take care
Hi Mike, MBTS, you sure are going to make it into grandma's good books. Got to say Mike, you are the ace on the excavator, but Aaron has a natural affinity with the skid steers. But hey, skill and talent, camerarderie, humour and a good dose of pride in the job is what makes all your videos great for us to watch and your customers can see the quality in the work they are getting👍👍👍 MARK uk
Saw a guy the other day use a rock bucket to spread gravel and do a final dress, thought he was nuts when he drove into the pile but he set the bottom a few inches off the ground and the gravel fell out smooth as could be.

I think @CCEquipment could do a complete refurbish on it...
Grandma was a force of nature on the podcast, keeping her happy is the smart choice.
It must be emotional working around that old dozer.
You are supposed to notify air traffic control when you attempt to fly the Mack.....LOL....great video and hello to grandma
Aaron was panicked. He was just drawing blanks.🤣

Video posted about that

I dont like Diesel creek he buys too much stuff that doesn't work and doesn't fix any 🤬
You fellows would be a blast to work around. Thanks
With those bucket pins it must be good for digging around corners 😂
You not pay attention to the video
It seems as if Mr. Dirt Perfect is getting a little thin skinned.

Holy Crap! Now that's a joyride....lol I will give you credit you had some hang time on that one Mike 🤣 Keep up the good work guy's.
"If Grandma ain't happy, nobody is happy". Isn't that right Mike? Great job keeping the family peace.
Tip truck - as they are called in Aus LOL. Nice story on the building pad and dozer. Grandma is happy I hope with this effort of fun.
I laughed so much when that dump truck was on end. Best video in a long time! 👌 Thank you both for sharing! 😂 Looks great!
Maybe you can do a "training trip" to teach that to some county folks down here, and add "putting a berm on each side of a gravel road makes three lakes, but one has a gravel bottom!"

Good job getting back in the graces of your grandmother
You both had me in stitches. The front end of the truck in the air was the best. Make sure to let Granny know about the danger you put yourself in. 🤣🤣
Remember family comes first, you have grandma maw then you have grandma.way you going you might not be the favorite son.good little video 👍👍👍😎😎😎
Ya, we want to see MBTS again! LOL!!! Mike, you had me going with your little game of "Look, see the dirty side of my truck?". Thanks for taking us along for the "ride". J.R.
Roof up and wheels down is a great way to finish the jobs.
When Grandma speaks, everyone listens. I enjoy watching your videos, especially your and Aaron bets. Thanks for the video
Good morning sunshine! One thing I've learned from 40 years of marriage is ya gotta keep the in-laws happy! Lol much love from Henderson Ga
Gotta love that classic 755 🦌!
Imagine you started improving the drive and turned it into a carnival ride! Who says you don't have fun as you two work!
High tilt 100 vertical 😂😂😂 that was exciting
Enjoy the video Mike and Aaron .
I really had a great time watching the Rodeo.
Holy Crap! Now that's a joyride....lol I will give you credit you had some hang time on that one Mike. Keep up the good work guy's.
I would think grandma is happy!! You should’ve started from the top spreading rhetoric rock. Thanks again DP MBTS for another fun time!!!!
Don't think there was much chance he would have made it up loaded Robert, as he didn't get up half loaded.
Never a dull moment with you guys

Some times you just get that SINKING FEELING but in the end, the road gets better, your videos are always perfect. thanks for sharing. 💥👌👍
What an awesome video! I laughed so hard.❤ keep Grandma happy.
Great job guys. Always take care of grandma! 😅
Nice job, you can only do so much with mud. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Mike, since you call the Takeuchi 240 a Taco! I think that you should call the Hyundai HT100 the "Hot Tamale"! 😂😂😂
I'm always amazed how many people don't understand "road must be higher than ditch".
Thanks again for the content.
Loved the throwback picture! Was a neat story about operating your first dozer. Nice video Mike!
Good evening from Adelaide Australia
What you should've done is poured the gravel from the top of the hill and work your way down to the bottom

Love how while you are digging the birds just keep on feeding like you are not even there
Keep them coming Mike another enjoyable video
Someone needs to teach our county road commission what rule number 1 of road building is. 😂
You must live down the same county road I do!
Either the crew is paid by the mail or the surveyor had a magnet in his pocket in my neck of the woods .

I just got one thing to say when I saw that front end of the truck go up is what a great Christmas card Merry Christmas from dirt perfect lol.

You need to get Chris with Let's Dig 18 to show you how to spread gravel he doesn't need a Grader attachment.

What do you say when your truck sinks in fresh road material ? "Rut Ro" 😂
The old roll off truck that I first drove would carry the front end like that every time you picked up a heavy load. The good ole days
Hey DP your famous words about rock truck drivers! 🤣😂
Aaron and his hilarious T shirts lol Nice job on the truck wheelie Mike, that was awesome. Nicely done on bringing it back down.
