Looks great brother, that hole kinda crept up on us too! Glad you didn’t flip over my friend! But seriously you need to flag that hole off my friend so you don’t forget about it the next time! Thanks for sharing brother, Kirk from Louisiana sending prayers and good vibes! I hope your skid steer is ok! Stay safe and healthy! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Oohhh! It’s a good thing Carson was available to help you get the ASV out of that mess! I would tell the property owner and suggest he mark that dangerous spot! Other than that it looked like an easy job. Well, except for the knocking around from the old stumps. 😂
fun, fun, fun. was thinkn that it wasn't mowed clean. but you explained it at the end. wonderful watching 2 brothers working together. looks like so much fun mowing, wish i could run it alittle bit. will remind me of when i was working as an equipment operator at work. retired now and hate it. gettn fat and lazy. thanks so much.
Nice job. It kinda sucks when stuff is hidden then you run into it. Up north here in the winter when plowing you sometimes hit raised sewer manholes. Talk about a surprise when your plow slams flat to the ground. Wakes you up and hopefully you cutting edge isn't chipped. You do a good job. Keep the faith. J.Au-en
I was wondering what happens when you meet something unexpected in material that thick. I'm glad it was a hole and not another manhole access. Hitting concrete and steel at that speed would not end well. Glad you have that mini, and that it came out okay. Good video.
Davin, I’m glad you and the ASV came out with no damage! That hole should be marked with some sort of sign or post. Take care and I’ll see you on the next one…
I am so glad that you weren't hurt when you stepped and the ground gave way, and that your equipment wasn't damaged when it found a hole of it's own! May I ask a question please? Will you mark the area of questionable ground (that you stepped through) and that other hole/drainage ditch so it is far more easily seen? Great video!
Great video davin. By the way my 100 pound goldendoodle loves watching you. Every time I watch your videos he hears you and stares at the tv. He must know you helped out clearing the dog park lol
Fwiw, if you need to mark utilities in very tall grass, a cheap and effective method is to drive a T-post then slip a 10' stick of white PVC pipe over it, if you wanted to get fancy you could put a band of colored paint to indicate type of facility, using the locate color code Orange=communications Red= power blue = fresh water Green= waste water or storm drain Yellow=gas Also purple is the universal color in many states for no trespassing.
I be scared walking in some of the area you go without snake boots on I am from Louisiana water moccasins and copperhead all over the place.Love your video. If I hit the lottery I getting a mulcher like your stay blessed
That stuff was thicker than molasses on a cold winters day! I would confer with the property owner about putting up a sign or at least markers about the holes so that other mowers don't end up in the same predicament that you did. See you on the next one😊
That mowing made me nervous! It was like driving through a blizzard, couldn't see your hand in front of your face! And no time to react if you could have seen that stupid drain! And to top it off, coudda broke your ankle falling in that hole! Good Lord was with you today, buddy, both machine and operator survived. So easily could have had different results! Thank you for sharing! Subscribed!
In younger days I loved clearing raw land like that. BUT , just watching it being done makes my allergies start up. MY eyes are itching and my nose is running.... Awwwh - good times !
That is the best rotary cutter I've seen youtube/IRL as far as speed and cut in brushy, grassy areas I don't think you'll beat it. The other guys would have to stop like every 8 feet to wind it back up unless the grass was just above your boots/ankles. That was a job there it was thick, hope it paid well. If you can't get a few thousand for a lot that size/condition that wouldn't hardly be worth it. That one you must have felt like you were driving through a car wash all day!
Since there was a man cover there on the property, I would call the county to let them know about that. Even if they cannot do anything, the least that they can do is to come inspect it. Maybe later on, they can advise the property owner as to options that are available. Maybe the county can, at the least, mark the ditch and what not for the owner so that he/she can advise anyone coming to do work on that property better.
Gracias
Damn that dog crap was thick and the cutter just went thru it nicely I hope that you reported that hole that you went in and make them fix that!!!!! They need to fix that and make that safe
For those whk came for the thumbnail, once you get bored watching some dude mow at atound 5 or 10 mins, skip to 46:00 for the real reason we're all here 😉
You can lower the boom and tie a chain or strap off to a tree. Lifting the boom will pull you forward and up and out. I learned this when I slid off the edge of a road into the swamp and it was too far for a tow truck or other piece of equipment to get me out.
Great job as alwAys , have a question or two I see most of you cut in a back and forth pattern ? I was taught to cut perimeter then leave a mowers width and cut all inside that way there is a retainer for blade throw out ? Is it just personal preference? I understand cutting brush is not brain surgery!
I would get a discloser of any landmarks ,drainage, plumbing etc from the owner so they accept liability of damage to their property and yours. There are places you can't walk or see to know what's there , that could have cost you major damage to your equipment. I also think the advertisement you have given to the manufacturer of the mower should cover its cost , it would pay them emensly to have you just keep it. Great video, stay safe and God bless!
The track steer does a great job clearing land. The other level of landscaping. Almost arborist level. I'm wondering if this particular assignment would have had better results with the mulching attachment rather than the flailing mower attachment. I'm just a spectator. I think the money is probably better as a professional landscaper with heavy equipment on the job. I'm still using string trimmers and lawnmowers.Great job.
About what you were talking with your brother about. You hit that drain hole just the right way that it wasn't a true disaster. If you had hit that 90° from the way you did you would have mounted the slope sideways and you WOULD HAVE rolled the ASV. You got lucky with that one, but like you said not you not anyone else had any possibility of seeing that drain hole with how tall that dog fennel was. Speaking of dog fennel you were saying how that was 8' tall, but that first super dense patch you went through was every bit of 10' tall. That was absolutely insane how deep that was.
Awesome. Job. The good. Lord. Watched. Over. You. & that. Drain. Hold. Praise God. For his. Hedge. Of. Portion n. Over you blessings brother. From. ALABAMA
When you are mulching and the branches and twigs fall and get stuck on top of the mulcher it drives me crazy and I just want to reach into the TV and get them off 🤔👌
SURPRISED YOU DONT HAVE A PORTABLE WINCH PLACEMENT WELDED INTO THE FRAME AND WHEN YOU NEED TO WINCH YOU JUST GRAB IT OUT OF THE TRUCK AND MOUNT IT ON YOUR UNIT FOR RECOVERY. AND WHEN YOUR UNSTUCK UNLOCK IT AND PUT IT BACK IN THE TOOL BOX. YOU WOULD BE SURPRISED HOW WELL SOME OF THEM ARE SET UP AND SUPER EFFECTIVE FOR IT NOT EVEN WEIGHING 30 POUNDS WHEN PUTTING IT ON AND OFF
my woods extension info indicates the control of dog fennel. First, it spreads by tiny seeds wind blows or otherwise, to control it, cut it down before it blooms and seeds are formed. Alternately by spraying with a nature-friendly mist sprayer.
city needs to flag that area granted those were pretty tall weeds and you might not have seen the flag had that been an old abandoned well things sure would have been different great video glad everything is ok
Damn… that crap was so thick I was starting to wonder if you shouldn’t have used the mulched… the bush hog was doing the trick but the mulcher seems better in the thick stuff.. then that ditch.. damn that could have been BAD!… Well, what’s done is done and no damage to speak of..
The debris leave that device at the speed of probably 200 miles an hour. No kidding I had something I don’t know if it was a chunk of log or what but it literally took the entire grill out of my 84 Chevy C10 as I traveled down the roadway, some city or county workers were doing mulching and brush cutting, and one of them aimed the bush hog towards the highway. Just as you were describing the blades were throwing debris into the roadway. They paid for my truck and all but still it could’ve been my windshield and that thing was trucking to cut through the grill and into the radiator the way it did it took out the whole grille and literally a 6“ x 4“ hole in the radiator.
I wondered on here who would be next in line to buy a Cancela. Letsdig18 was first. I thought it would be Jon from Upstate brush Control .Who will be next lol

Huge grass needed a muncie as good as this one. Big hole requires filling or marking for future workers and safety. Great job.

Wowwww - glad you are ok - and the ASV is working.
Hope the client realizes what is happening with his property.

Hell you scared me when you fell in that hole and I was expecting it. That could have been a bad hair day. Good job mate
Davin, I’m glad you and the ASV came out with no damage! That hole should be marked with some sort of sign or post. Take care and I’ll see you on the next one…
What a job!!! That fennel is horrible . Thought munchie would be needed at times. Thankfully your brother was on hand to help with your retrieval.
Great video Davin ,great recovery of skid steer and mulcher.looks good, just finish up what your doing.and carry on 👍👍👍😎😎😎
I am so glad that you weren't hurt when you stepped and the ground gave way, and that your equipment wasn't damaged when it found a hole of it's own! May I ask a question please? You have been on my prayer list since I started watching your videos for this very reason 🚜🙏👍🌻
You seriously need to flag that off brother, good thing you didn’t break your leg Davon! 🤦🏼🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
You did an excellent job!
They should put markers around those holes , its dangerous for people they could fall and injure them selfs.
Well maybe he should have put markers around it for next time
There was a marker. But overgrown.
@@HenkvanHoek what a 12" flag? I said the guy mowing should have put a marker to know where it's at..

Wow, put up markers around holes, dangerous, get munchies fir stumps, trees, thicker things, THANKS FIR INVITING US ALONG...😏
WOW that was a hell of a job, please charge them more for that. you are very lucky that you are so skilled. Take care of Munchie, 😂 😂
An excellent video IDigit...IMPRESSIVE!

Good JOB Devin
So glad You have a roll cage and communication
All in all mate it turned out great. A bit scary driving into that hole. The pot hole from hell lol. 🤙😎🇦🇺
Why do people have to wait so long between mowings? I am sure that the neighbors appreciated your work. Good job!
Probably the cost I know my neighbor paid 110$ per hour for the same service, was well over 1000$ by the time guy loaded up.
Wow
It's called laziness

Good job and video Brother. Oh the joys of being a solo owner operator. Damn hidden dangers and obstacles. If only the ASV had a winch on it.

You are a legend bro. Love your content.
Glad your ok and machine okay. Looked like a bumpy ride
I enjoy watching you and your machine.
Needed the mulcher so u could grid down those stumps.
Well done! Hope no serious damage was done to Munchie.
Freakin thick shit! Glad u and the machine are ok. What a difference from start to finish 👍🇦🇺

Wow, thanks!
here you can used tmc cancella! in that jungle can be anything! glad you are fine and resolve that very bad situation
Great job
You did an amazing job and I am so glad that you did not get hurt falling into that big drainage hole. ❤
Very enjoyable watch. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Enjoyed watching the video Davin😊
Glad you enjoyed!
Sewer manhole access to the sewer by main line😊
Wow, that hidden drain hole turned into a real adventure! Hope Munchie and the skid steer get out of this tight spot safely!
Wow! That machine is a beast! You handled everything that job threw at you including the ditch. Terrific work. Looking forward to more videos
My friend, you are brutal with that thing. You Just destroy that field without any mercy. kudos to you.
Hey DJ. Weebles Wooble but They Don't Fall Down !!
That was a job and a half - wow!!!
WOW! You might pull some dead fall over that drainage area for a good marker. Just a thought. Cheers!
First time that i see that one happen..
Kind of scary that, these holes weren't marked with flags or poles in any way
I think I can smell that stuff. :) Dang, that was a surprise hole, that sucked. :( Thank you and I hope you have a better week.

Big job well done. Amazing machine
Is there much difference between a high flow and standard flow cutter?
Turned out looking very good. I'm glad you're okay falling into the drain hole. It could have been worse for you & munchie .
My thoughts exactly!
Did you replace the manhole cover?
Well it's just a good think you and your
ASV. Didn't get hurt and damage.! It could have been worse.
Strong machine

It sure is! Thank you!
OOOOPS !!....and then Munchie goes down the drain. So much for marking irregularities !
Nice work! Manholes and drain holes ... some kind of easement that you had to learn about the hard way? Did you see that LetsDig18 got a TMC-Cancela?
Great cleanup job. The owner should mark the holes
Strewth Mate
Thats the biggest patch of weeds that I have ever seen
What a great job
Yes it was!
Almost should have used the mulcher it was tuff on the mega mower great job even with getting swallowed by the drainage pit great video thanks Davin
