    What a good trick using into your needle. After a while, my eyes play tricks on me with those holes.

      Yes it works great! My friend Judy suggested I try using a needle. Soooo much easier!

    Great video thankyou, edge to edge quilting on a queen size quilt, is that possible with this machine?

    • @sewalongwithjan
      @sewalongwithjan  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Possibly, but the neck of the machine is not all that large. I'm not sure you can roll that large of a quilt up in there. You might be able to if you work from the center out on each side. It would be tight though. I usually put the larger quilts on my longarm or have them done somewhere. I do a lot of smaller items in the embroidery machine though.

    Thank You for this video. I purchased my machine out of state - so no local help. I spent 5 hours trying to change the colors to the correct sewing order. I found your video - it was extremely helpful, I will be watching more!!

    Do you always have to add the stop button on appliques? The machine isnt smart enough to read the applique file and know to stop? I had to add that on a Melco and it drove me crazy compared to my Bernina automatically reading it.

    • @sewalongwithjan
      @sewalongwithjan  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You need to add the stop hands when you use other colors besides the Brother Embroidery colors Applique Material (scissor symbol) and Applique Position (straight stitch line). The machine knows by using these colors that it needs to stop. Otherwise you can add the hands manually.

    I have this machine an your videos have given some of the best up close great filming on understanding this machine.i was offered lifetime lessons where they sell the machine them just explain speed talking not showing or hands on.i bought my machine an even while it sat on the show room floor waiting to be boxed up I couldn't touch it or get a demonstration an they cost as much as some cars!

    Hi, Jan. At 36.09, where and how do you get the thread post picture? I have the 10-needle too with the current update. Is it a setting you have to turn on? Thanks.

    • @sewalongwithjan
      @sewalongwithjan  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Sharon! The screen you are referring to comes up when you touch the embroidery button on the PR1055X. Is that the machine you have?

      @slschroeder4224 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@sewalongwithjan Yes. I have the PR 1055 with all the updates. I tried to replicate your steps, and no thread post screen. Really strange. Thanks, Jan.

      Hi Sharon! Turn off the manual color sequence in the settings. It's on page 7. Then that screen will come up.

    Hi Jan, I having trouble figuring out how to put multiple designs together ex:ITH bookmark. My question is how do I program that it will do all placement at one time and then stop to go to next. Can youy help me please thanks

      @sewalongwithjan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I can help. Add the designs you need and touch the color sort button. It's on the screen right before you touch embroidery and looks like 3 thread spools
