This is part two to my Pembrokeshire film, going in to details in how we packed, what we packed.
I also go into our watercolour kit, which on this trip played a huge part to the feeling and flow. In the morning we would pack down the tent in our wild camp spot and then carry on sitting there enjoying the landscape that laid before us.

I think a taking a few luxury items while bikepacking is very important, as is allowing yourself plenty time to sit back and relax. I just completed my first multi day trip and my luxury items were my kindle and a hip flask of good malt whisky. Sitting back in the middle of the Scottish Highlands with a good book and a good whisky after a long day on the bike was bliss 😊
Hi Ricky! You are totally right, that is why we make such efforts to get to these wild places, it is such a shame not to sit and enjoy them! Yes of course a hipflask of whisky is an essential item :-)
Great video! I really enjoyed it, especially the art. I'll starting my first bikepacking tour this Thursday and was just considering to bring a lead pencil and be done with it. But now I'm considering to pack in my Kuretake watercolors, some brushes and a sketchbook as well 🤔
Hey Daniel! Well you defiantly should!!! It is going to be hot, so chill on your ride, take a break and do a sketch and painting under a shady tree :-) You will love it

Hey Dal! Yes I did, and have two films lined up about it! I have been a busy bee editing and have 3 more done a lined up to be released over the next few weeks :-)

Loved this. Please can you put a link to the watercolour box? When I searched on Amazon the nearest i could find by Daniel Smith cost £53 !!! And do you have any tips/links to resources/tutorials to learn how to paint like you did - they are wonderful!
Hey, thanks so much! Well it is in fact just an empty box from amazon and I have lots of tubes of paint at home, so just refill the pans. Daniel smith paints are very expensive, I also use winsor and newton paint (make sure you get the professional ones, they make a huge difference)
Well the guy who I learn watercolours is a youtuber - Steve Cronin - he is incredible, in terms of just getting you to paint and not to worry about technique in the beginning, a very fast loose way of working. I followed and painted nearly all of his tutorials/paint alongs, and that gave me the confidence to do my own work in my own style

I am clearly doing something wrong, in that exactly same alpkit dry bag I can fit the sleep system for just me! I was floored you had everything in there!
Haha, it is my bottomless Tardis :-) pack them vertically and should squeeze in more
