Wishing you all the best… I just started in Tampa last week and it’s pretty overwhelming, but I have hope that I’ll make it work one day at a time.… So far most of the people are pretty cool as long as I have a question they are willing to answer
Thank you so much for this video, I myself am interested in ATP and your videos are good input of what I should expect so I appreciate it brotha we support you and you got this just keep pushing 🙏🏾
I’ve heard bad things about ATP, especially the one here where I live. Whenever they fly over to my airport they tend to do whatever they want since it’s non towered and not do what you’re taught to do when training. Many time when there has been 5 or 6 planes in the pattern they would set up for a 10 mile final in a slow piper and screw everything up, don’t make the correct radio calls and don’t read the AFD before heading to the airport. It clearly states in the afd winds 5kts and under use 18 and even if 6 people are in the pattern for 18 they will use the runway the wind is pointing down since they didn’t read the chart. I learned in my own plan with a part 61 instructor and my friend got his PPL with ATP and his knowledge is nowhere near what a private pilot should be. Not being rude but they don’t teach you what you need to know. It’s also so much cheaper to do a part 61 school.
Yeah that is super annoying. What location is that? We definitely run things a little here at least with my experience. ATP is actually a part 61 school but there are 100% cheaper options out there.
Really inspiring stuff. I'm looking to start at ATP soon so i really appreciate the content you're putting out. I wish we could have a more in depth conversation so i can pick your brain and get more information. Otherwise really cool stuff man and all the best.
Of course man. I remember trying to learn more about ATP started and there weren't a whole ton of videos on TH-cam so that's why I wanted to make these videos. Let me know if you have any specific questions that I can make videos about!
I'm curious about a lot😂 1. The CFI job you get to build hours. Is it paid? What's the quality of life on that? 2. How long is the actual program? I know they say 9months or so but is that really it? 3. What's the student life like? 4. I need more information about the written exam I need to get out of the way. I'll ask more once I have some more
Good luck!! Don't know if I have anything special to say but just work hard and don't take a lot of time off! Pretty generic but if you do that you'll be in good shape 👍
I am new to all of this! Do they actually get you flying out this fast? I thought you would mostly do written exams learn stuff than do some flight sims. Than go into actual flying.

Cool premise for a youtube channel. I would suggest though, learn how to tell a story better/more in depth. You kinda have this nonchalant "grumpy teenager working at the mall" type vibe. Grow your audience by being more friendly and open. Just my two cents. I wish your flight school experience and youtube channel well!

Thanks man! First week or two are super overwhelming but calms down a lot after. Keep me posted with how it goes!
amazing vid nice to finally get an insight from someone!
Glad it was helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions

@@ShaneAffsa Lol what? All flight schools operate under part 91 but the structure itself can either be part 61 or 141
Super awesome! Thank you!
Glad you like it!
Can you enroll at 18 how does that work?
im subscribing now, please keep us updated on ATP
Will do! Thanks for subscribing!

@@derrick2251 I just assumed his location has students in different levels that he could ask😅
My bad😂

How has your time at ATP been @bashb2583
Thanks for this video if you could do every 2 weeks like this it’d be perfect. Video was perfect
That's the plan! Should come out with weeks 3-4 this week. Thanks for watching my videos

I am debating between Utah Cornerstone and ATP. I think cadet is important. How about joining ATP after PPL in Cornerstone?
Email me if you haven't already decided!
What did you do before you went to atp? Did you just do ground school and then go to atp for flight training?
I just worked on all of the written tests!
Is there an easy way to find students at the location we are going to?
@@fliptheepicone not that I know of!
Is there a dress code requirement? Also Like no facial hair or visible tattoos as well ?

When did you take your knowledge test?
I was actually able to get the knowledge tests done in Jan-Feb before I started. They last for two years though
how did you pass the faa written exam..?
Use sportys study buddy to study and then you can go to a PSI testing center and take it!
What ATP location are you at ?

Let me know what you decide or if you have questions! Do you already live there?
