I’ve spend money on memory foam etc only making my back pain worse. Bought a simple and cheap ($150) PU foam mattress and I’m in heaven…..the expensive stuff i b.s. trust me!!!
If it feels comfortable to you then that's great! No need to overspend on a mattress. The only thing I will mention, sometimes cheaper beds wear out faster...just make sure when it starts to feel uncomfortable to buy a replacement one ASAP so you don't make you back pain worse!
What I don't understand is how I can sink so far into a mattress that I have dreams that I'm lying on the floor and can't roll over so I can get up. But I am awakened by significant hip pain too! Im 5'6, 180ish pounds. I have a higher than average cost hybrid cooling mattress now, but I've never seen it reviewed in any of these Best of 2024 videos. I'm starting to think I need a hip xray; it would be cheaper than a new mattress. But once I'm up and moving I don’t have the pain, so it's gotta be the mattress, no? Thank goodness for those 120 night guarantees! Edited to say you have reviewed the mattress I have in a video after this.
One thing to know... latex mattresses are heavy! Very heavy!! Very comfortable, but just know the weight when you want to turn it!! When shopping, ask what the weight of the mattress is if you are someone who rotates your mattresses!!
Thanks for the content. It would be helpful when you are featuring a mattress to leave the name up while you are reviewing it. it's easier to jot down notes without having to pause and go back to find the name. Thanks ✌️

Where did you get it?

Insomnia forces me to be a stomach sleeper. What's the best option if I have to sleep on my stomach, but also have hip/back pain?

I've never heard of any of these brands. Where can I lay on any of these to try them out
What are your thoughts on adjustable mattresses/beds? Is adjustability more important than mattress performance?
Do you want adjustability between you and your bed partner? You do you want to adjust the bed for your comfort on a night-to-night basis?
@@TheSleepDoctor yes and yes! The ability to raise head or feet up would be nice, but does that mean sacrificing mattress quality?

Very true! They are extra heavy so I really like when the companies offer white glove delivery
Can you do a video on progesterone and sleep?
That's a great idea! I will look into it
Is your recommended Brooklyn Bedding hybrid signature same as or similar to Plank Luxe?
Depends! What kind of sleeper are you? i.e. back, stomach, side...

Thanks for the tip, I will do that!
