The Moment Jordan Peterson CONVERTED Russell Brand To Christianity

- Have you noticed that more and more prominent influential people like Joe Rogan, Andrew Huberman, and Russell Brand are talking more and more about God and Christianity? There is something at work, I think Jordan Peterson has a lot to do with it, and it's because of conversations like this with Russell Brand...
Brand himself in the title of this video said, "This conversation changed my mind" and he has since put out that he getting baptized and becoming Christian. The clip I'm about to show you is the part of their conversation where Peterson shreds the modern atheist argument to and convinces Russell Brand that there is no more reliable truth than the deepest Christian belief...
Here's the video, watch the whole thing, it's all important, then I'll finish with why this is so important for Christianity...
I been praying for Russell 20 yrs. He broke my heart with his first book. I couldn't not pray for Russell. Him finding Jesus & his coming baptisim just flooded me with more joy than you can possibly imagine. Answered prayer after 20 yrs is amazing. I am so blessed He sought Jesus & found Him. Praise God!!🙏🏻👑✝️🕊️❤️
God Bless you for your prayers...could you please include me in your prayers ..my name is Rosalba..I believe your prayers truly helped Russell convert to Christianity which will also help many others follow in his footsteps..

Thank You Lord for Your goodness for us. In Jesus name. Amen. 🙏🏻👑✝️🕊️❤️
You’re dreaming. It sounds deluded (common) that you think you are doing this.

The only question is which god.
Surely not a YHWH that was invented 3500 years ago.

Jordan Peterson’s biblical lectures were the main reason that I found my faith again. God is good
I watched him break down Cain and able a few years ago and the same happened for me.
I love explaining to people that JP’s biblical lectures are the method by which he himself became a Christian. His lectures were originally intended to be described only through a psychological lens but the practice itself of giving the lectures actually developed within him the vision of the eternal truths of God and his eyes were finally opened.
Yet Peterson supports the murder in Gaza. Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing. th-cam.com/video/oQ669Qh2FTE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=oaAt8frHm3j6qc6q
This made me tear up for both of them.
“Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
Russell's face when he watches JP. JP is so passionate. He is a special man. As for Christianity, there is a revival happening. I was giving up on the whole Christian thing. So tired of hypocrites and fakes. And yet, within me, I feel a fire, a calling, or a beckoning from God.

I hope you never let another human disrupt your relationship and walk with the LORD, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. It took me a while to realize that Jesus is our personal Saviour, but He loves you in an individualized personal way.

Christianity is about Christ and you …and him , not the people. They fail. He doesn’t. Always focus on Him

Good that you are Christian but you don’t become spiritually “born again” twice… earth born then spiritually born because as earth born is as spiritually dead which is cut off from God because he is holy then Christ death reconciles us as mediator via Christ’s death brining us new life an eternal birth can not die and become born again so you technically became Christian only once if you are a true born

It will never happen, but a worthy goal for one to aspire to. I think that we are coming up on the End of Days, but of course could be wrong. One day...we will live in that perfect harmony with our fellow man, and Christ!
though the gospel is that we all can stop trying. the jews tried like mad. the law's purpose was to reveal and convict us of sin (separation from god). jesus died our death ("the wages of sin is death"), so all can live his risen life and be in relationship.. union communion oneness.. with and in god. glory!
Ya pretty simple. .... Love each other like yourself...... actually believe bigger % does n is good.
I started my walk with Jesus partly after listening to Dr. Peterson’s series on Genesis. It’s been 4 years after meeting my Lord and savior. And He is real, it’s a story but it’s true! The apostles didn’t witness to a nice story, they witnessed to what they lived and saw!
That's what makes history the most interesting story: it is complex and true yet it is an overarching narrative that always comes back to Jesus, like fractal patterns in history... I guess that's to be expected from God entering into his creation.
Yes and the Apostles were Jews, like YESHUA!
Your comment reminds me of this message I just listened to today by Jamie Winship (there's a part 2 too). He talks about that we witness to what we have experienced through being transformed by an encounter with the living God. Sharing a nice story or information about what we heard won't overcome the enemy - it's our testimony of how Jesus transformed us that will lead others to seek Him! th-cam.com/video/0r98ULww6ME/w-d-xo.htmlsi=qP47Vb2VvXkILJUB

Oh how wonderful to hear your life journey. Let me tell you that Jesus is a personal God. Living a life after the standard of the Bible is good for you- but it won’t bring you into heaven. Jesus wants a relationship with you. I recommend you to follow what Peter told in Acts 2,38 and 39: “And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”„

@@kveldulfpride There are two ways you can interpret events, stories, and dialogues from any ancient religious text books like the Bible. The first approach is "literal", as in all events recorded are real and happened exactly as they were documented. The second approach is "metaphorical", as in the events depicted are stories that contain spiritual messages of timeless virtues & morals communicated to us through parables & symbolism. You believe in the "literal" approach. I believe in the "metaphorical" approach.
@@deviceinside You can say that but it doesn't make it true. If you claim what i believe is literal, what exactly do you mean? If you say you believe the bible to be 'metaphorical', then which parts are those? Not all of them can be deemed metaphorical, else it loses its meaning.
Moral relativism doesn't work. It isn't logical. Truth isn't inclusive.
@@kveldulfpride You can say Earth is flat, but it doesn't make it true. You can believe in Santa Claus, but that doesn't make him real. You believe a piece of text written more than 2000 years ago to be literal, as in all events recorded are factually true. I believe not all the events depicted in this text were factually true, as some stories could have been modestly exaggerated to fit a certain narrative. Ancient texts like the Bible will never lose its meaning because the significance of metaphors could be more powerful than the overhyped stories themselves. That's the real beauty behind allegories and symbolism like the ones depicted in the Bible. There was a Yogi in India who was once asked by a tourist, which religion should they follow? The Yogi replied that it was a silly question. If you want to climb a mountain in order to reach the summit, there are many different paths to get there. These paths represent different religions or spiritual traditions. The summit represents God, or enlightenment. Hence, there is no one true path to enlightenment. God bless.

What a fascinating discussion. JP says Sam Harris daren't "concretize his relationship with the divine because his rational mind would tear it to shreds and leave him bereft". I wonder if this fear could be behind JP's own reluctance to do the same? I have heard Jonathan Pageau describe Jordan as a bridge between the secular and the religious worlds, and he does seem to be inadvertently bringing many people to Christianity as he wrestles with these issues with so much honesty, humility and insight. Truly inspiring.

@@christianboddum8783 I believe there is a reason for his journey. God is not limited to the boundaries of time. Through his struggles, JP has brought many to, at the very least, have a deeper look at Christianity and that alone is relevant and meaningful. God works in mysterious ways, so, we should remind ourselves to keep a humble heart and be patient with others as everyone has their own journey..
Jordan has declared his belief , over and over.
His great discussion with Rabbi’s on the exodus alone is worth watching .
His own “” realisation “” that Christ exists, enables him to speak to those within academia , he counted produce such an emotional response , the depth of his conviction . Without believing.
His interview, podcast , explains how and when his “” mind”” was changed .
Although for years he also dismissed, but openly confessed his belief
I don’t think for JP his rational mind will tear it to shred. I think he’s afraid that he would have to subject his rational mind to something higher and being a psychologists, he fears that without his mind he is nothing.
I just found my faith after a lifetime looking. It is the best thing that has ever happened to be. Going through all the emotions now and pushing through it to get to the wisdom at the end.
Jesus dying on the cross is the only way to life, not me dying. We cannot save ourselves. "Bearing our cross" comes only after we have trusted Him and Him alone to save us from our sin, and give us a new nature. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved.."
True. JP is brilliant, but he speaks about the Bible as if it weren't actual history, but strictly a narrative; as if to compartmentalize it within an evolutionary worldview. He's not wrong about the narrative, but it fascinates me to hear him speaking about it so well even though he seems to be viewing it through such a narrow lense. I am waiting for the day when he finally sets down that Darwinistic framework. But I also know God is using him for his purposes to reach people who otherwise might reject him for rejecting the Darwinistic framework. 🤷♂️

I was raised Christian. Became an athiest in my late teens. Had a near death experience where I experienced things I can never explain with words. Since then, i've changed my mind that there is something out there. I dont align with Christianity anymore for reasons I wont get into (mostly historical reasons) but a believer in a higher power, whatever that may be. There is something beyond this life, and when you actually survey nature and really look at humanity over its existence, its magnificent how it all fits together in a grand design. How everything has its seasons, the cycle of life and death, that no thing is eternal. And scientifically, if matter cannot be created nor destroyed, where does it go? When you study philosophy and ancient traditions (that pre-date christianity), you understand that there are profound reasons to celebrate a creator(s), and to think that you are here for no reason, for no purpose, is a sad and lonely life. I will never hold it against an atheist for what they believe, or a Christian for what they believe. We're all free to determine what gives our meaning purpose. But mine is a belief in God and the divine geometry of the universe is by no accident.

Me who thinks a meme is a picture with words over it: 🤔
Yea what was he talking about I was thinking that too
Here's the second entry on the definition of meme: an element of a culture or system of behavior passed from one individual to another by imitation or other nongenetic means. Although the term itself was coined by Richard Dawkins in the 1970s it's obviously something thats been a part of human culture forever. There's an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, "Darmok", where Picard has to learn how to talk to a Tamarian, of which he can understand the words themselves, he just doesn't understand the references and allegory they use to convey meaning because he isn't familiar with the culture and zeitgeist of the civilization. I seen it and thought, oh they just talk in memes basically, because in a very similar way unless you know a meme's context they can mean next to nothing. Imagine sending our memes back 2000 years, they would seem like random images, but to us they can unfold in our minds almost like a book with layers of meaning and ideas packed into a simple picture and line of text. I think of meme's as basically like little corporeal fragments of psychedelic information we get to consume and enjoy in regular reality. Interesting stuff to ponder for sure.
@@Christian_counsellol Dawkins invented the word "meme" which means something else (not completely different) from what it's thought to be today

If Jordan and you think imitating Christ is Christianity you are wrong. What you describe is actually part of the sanctification process occurring AFTER you have already been saved by grace. You are saved only by believing in His substitutionary righteousness on your behalf. Christianity is unlike ANY other religion in as much as you do not 'work' to achieve merit or holiness - it is imputed to you outside of yourself because of your faith in a holy savior. See 2Cor 5:21. After salvation you naturally walk in imitation of Christ because you aspire to be like Him and please and obey him and just because it is the true path of life.
Correct
But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
cogitate...prostrate...emulate
how can you not work to achieve holiness? i'm orthodox and im baptised, meaning im saved. but being saved does not make me a saint neither secures my safety. i have to work myself out in order to achieve holiness or preserve my safety. and that is the defining drive of an orhodox monk. an orthodox monk is called an ascetic for that exact reason, because he is working out his holiness. ascetic comes form the greek "ασκητής" who is the one who practice something, derived from "άσκηση" which literally means 'to work out'. the best way to practice your way to holiness is imitating Christ. in fact, the best way to practice anything in this life is by imitating the best of the best on that particular field you want to practice in.
@@coltcalderock3278I think OP meant you cannot work out your own holiness apart from Christ. The way he wrote that sentence seems to make “holiness” synonymous with “salvation” as in, you cannot conjure up salvation based upon your good works, which is biblical. You absolutely are called to work toward holiness by Scripture, but after confessing sins, submitting to belief in Christ, and receiving the grace of salvation by faith. Then the work to living a holy life begins

I could never bridge the gap of the scientifically impossibility of the bible stories but he has taught me that the stories are fables in which the human brain can understand to as the ways of the universe.
Do some research on the shroud of Turin and the recent findings about it. It might be interesting to you.
That's great. Good to hear. 'My Bright Abyss" is a nice other view too, he was an atheist because he never felt god's presence. But knew that Jesus felt the same thing on the cross "father why have you forssaken me?" Which as a poet resonated. He wrote it while suffering through brutal bone marrow cancer. (Tolstoy's Confessions are great too. Totally different tone.)
@@BenWeeks-ca Before the bible had numeric references, people used to say the first few words of the text as reference. Jesus was referring to Psalm 22. I've added a few lines for you.
Psalm 22:1-5
My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me,
so far from my cries of anguish?
My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer,
by night, but I find no rest.
Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One;
you are the one Israel praises.
In you our ancestors put their trust;
they trusted and you delivered them.
To you they cried out and were saved;
in you they trusted and were not put to shame.
Good for you for allowing God and His word a foot in the door.

People in comments section don’t understand that Peterson leads people to truth and truth is god. He doesn’t have to be religious to be helpful. He’s a stepping stone to understanding god. There is a reason he’s prominent in our time and you are all in the comment section.
Do you believe truth always comports with reality?
The truth is that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross as a perfect atonement for your sins and mine. All other relative "truth" will send you to hell like a bullet. Accepting that there is a "god" is worthless without accepting Christ who is the creator God (Colossians 1, John 1)which the Bible calls being born again. He that hath the son hath life. He that hath not the son hath not life. 1 John 5:12
@bryanmassa6051 To whom are you addressing your comment?
I think he's done more for Christianity than a lot of professing Christians have as well. Ultimately we are told in the Bible to sort through our own salvation with fear and trembling, so when Christians are constantly accusing people of not being Christian enough, or the wrong denomination of Christian, they have missed the point. Christ is King
@@bryanmassa6051and there ard so many who think they have the Son but do not. And then there are all those myriads who have not eaten His Flesh nor have they drank His Blood.
It's not about acting like Jesus. We can't do anything without Him. We have to be born again with a nature made in the image of Christ to be able to live like Him.
Amen!
Exactly. Peterson is preaching a false gospel, a mix he has made up by his own and the Catholics who surround and pamper him. Without the new birth after repenting, no one will enter the kingdom of heaven. All this "I am be baptized!" will help nothing.
Why again do you say he is preaching a false gospel? I would agree that I don’t believe he’s baptized (yet, God willing), but God is at work in anyone who is seeking him in truth.
I don't buy your doctrine. Even after being born again, you still sin, so you can't claim to be living like Jesus.

The 1st few minutes are the BEST explanation ...summarized : Many assume that what religious practice is, is the mouthing of a set of propositions, it’s like a theory of the world. That is not the case. It’s a manner of conducting yourself, directing your attention and acting. The fundamental issue is the actual pattern of ACTION. That’s why the highest level of religious devotion is the imitation of Christ, the attempt to act out the archetype in the confines of your life. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
Peterson changed my views on religions as well. Many of the stories in the Bible are symbolic myths and stories not to be taken literally.
And there are similar stories in eastern philosophy and ultimately to live a good life in accordance with God. This perspective changed me.

Peterson doesn’t take the Bible literally. He says so in this video.
Peterson talks a lot of gobbledygook. I don't' think he takes any part of the bible literally.
@@kennygee2715 "gobbledygook" ? what do you mean by your use of gobbledygook?
Peterson reads the Bible in a way that's similar to how the Patristics and Scholastic theologians read the Bible. Peterson's aware there's a "literal" meaning of the text. But every story in the Biblical text also has a three-layered spiritual meaning: moral (tropological), anagogical (or mystical/spiritual meaning of the text in relation to man's final end), and allegorical (think typology here in a way similar to what Augustine means when he said "the New lies hidden in the Old and the Old is unveiled in the New." I'm curious, what do you mean by "literal" because no Christian takes the Bible with extreme literalism comprehensively across the entire text. At face value, even the text lends itself to this multi-layered hermeneutic. For example, when Christ says "...if you right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out..." Obviously he's not encouraging everyone to literally cut out their eye, but rather root out those things in our lives that lead to sin.
@@tedwatkins8620this became so clear to me when Christ said John is Elijah like does he mean that “literally” it’s a dumb question
Jesus said "I am the door of the sheep." I hope you don't think he is an actual door? And why is Jesus always talking about farm animals?
Stunning video - JBP's understanding and integration across disciplines to describe reality is deep, explanatorily powerful. What makes imitation of Christ possible? If JBP believes Christ is the ultimate man, he should believe Jesus' words about who he says he was and what he says he came to do. "For the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many."
How did you determine this Jesus spoke any words?

Faith!! That's what Mr Peterson is missing..thats all.
100 %.
And that is the part that matters.
I love Jordan Peterson but when speaks about the Bible, it always sounds like an atheist rationalizing and showing deep appreciation for very old stories in an ancient book.
People always ask him if he believes in God and he will skirt the question in a quite sincere way and I believe he truly inwardly struggles with the question but nevertheless doesn't actually answer the question.
I pray that someone would simply ask him to answer as yes or no and tell him that him saying yes means yes, but anything else will be taken as a no and then ask if he proclaims Christ as lord and savior.
Really get him to give a real definitive answer.
He can't fully embrace Jesus until he finally sets down that Darwinistic worldview. Suddenly things will click in him when he does. But I am sure that God has a purpose and timing for that, and in the mean time it's part of the story he's weaving.
He will get there, I started intellectually and in my suffering my faith in Jesus developed! God reaches each of us uniquely. ❤
Nope: he's also missing actual knowledge, replacing it with pseudo-scientific and pseudo-theological, pseudo-metaphysical gibberish that only impresses those who have not idea about any of it.
No wonder JP was with his wife at the Easter Vigil Mass in Toronto when she entered the Catholic Church last week - from 1:26 to 2:08, he sounded like a top-shelf Catholic intellectual. His animation in this video is telling - I've also seen it in videos of JP conversing with Bishop Robert Barron.
Catholicism is what the words sanity and truth are. As Christ presents Himself to us in His sacraments at those ignored old buildings with spires in our communities.

Sadly, there will be people who will believe Russell's version of it, and be lead down that wide path that leads to destruction.
Matthew 7:13-14 - _"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."_ - Jesus

I enjoyed this video because I enjoy listening to both Jordan and Russell - and I believe you are right, I have noticed in Russell's videos he has been mentioning Jesus more and more. However, I did not hear any moment in that video where Jordan "converted" Russell Brand to Christianity. I'd appreciate if you don't use misleading titles. I think most people would watch anyway because of the participants. Jesus is King. 🙌🙌🙌
Same. I believe that acknowledging who Christ is and having a personal relationship with him is not the same thing. While both are seeking truth, I believe they are still trying to come to that knowledge and their hearts. You fundamentally don't understand, I think. Atheists do not see any evidence that God exists. Jordan Peterson makes the point that religious stories and lessons are extremely important. You then carry that point on to say that we should follow Christ and imitate him. These are actions to take, which even an unbeliever can do. Nothing about any of this addresses the initial atheist observation that God does not exist. It's probably better to be Christian than an atheist, but this has no bearing on the truth of the matter.
Thank you for relaying the whole conversation and letting them speak for themselves!
I've been reading Jordan Peterson's 12 Rues For Life, and the way he interprets God, the Bible and correlates it with human psychology and upbringing has opened up my eyes to a new way to look at Christianity and religious study.
I grew up Catholic, in an American-Hispanic community, living under separate one parent households and under the California education system. I was devout until high school, and I lost my touch with God, influenced by socialist and racial ideology.
Then I joined the US military at 18 years old as an agnostic, and only slightly suicidal, with a contract to join the Infantry field. I became nihilistic, politically disturbed, and an angry young Marine, and the attitude that comes with those attributes gets encouraged and inflamed when you're in the infantry. Eventually and by the grace of God, I became an Non Commissioned Officer (and a good one according to others) and as I did my best to shape myself to the USMCs ideology of being an NCO, I had attained a newfound confidence that I didn't know at the time would stick with me to the day I type this comment.
When I got out of the military and joined the real world, I struggled for almost a year and a half readapting to civilian society. I observed the world as a young man with hope for humanity. I had faith that the average person was of moral sanity, that the general consensus of society was that you had to work for your paycheck, that the average leader understood it was their goal to lead their people to prosperity.
I became subject to the immoral greed of the state, the uninteractive culture between employee and employer, the socialistic anger of my generation of people in my community, and the shitty work ethic of the average person. Working with the average civilian was nothing like working with my Marines. You are what you eat and you become what you surround yourself with. So I found myself becoming them, and I didn't like it...
I take pride in my service to this country as a Marine, and I take pride in my American immigrant farmworker heritage, and even though I wrestled with God for a while, my Catholic upbringing paved the way for my strong sense of moral direction. I am now more than ever thankful that I was brought up with Jesus in my life, and I know that if it wasnt for the church I would have ended up eating children, raping woman or killing men of my own kind. At 26 years old, I find myself lost in this corrupt world, but not misguided, and thats thanks to God.
An atheist who grows up with God in their youth is still a member of Christian society, and likely shares a lot in common with their faithful counterparts.
An atheist who never heard of God or was never taught the teachings of Christ as a child, is likely unaware of the difference between good and evil.
Oh so many things wrong with Jordan Peterson's take... But I will summarize it with asking; "how does a non-believer "convert" a non-believer.
Everything Peterson says comes from his ability to reason what he is saying.
You are in agreement on Christ with a man who still says he is not in agreement with the bodily resurrection of Christ... Jordan Peterson is still in his own mind ... Not the Word of God... Nowhere in this discourse did Peterson speak the Word of God... He speaks the words of Jordan Peterson
But his philosophy is grounded on the word of god. Of course he could repeat the biblical words, but he discusses them and THINKS THEM OUT, gives awnsers to other people on WHY these are the words of god. He is not a priest but a psychologist who found out that christianity in it's essence is a logical and wise world view that actually keeps our society functioning. And that it did, in regards of the historical point of view.
I have no idea what you are saying after reading this 10 times!
That's true, but you're not speaking the word of God either. Sooo, this is awkward.
Here, have some cake 🍰
What's that, you don't like cake. Have an ice cream 🍦 instead, everybody loves ice cream.

Jordan Peterson is able to reach those who otherwise would not be reachable. I am one example of a Christian convert first opened to Jesus and the Bible by Jordan through his Bible study videos and his intelligence, openness, honesty, authenticity and humility. He is one of the great intellects of our age who is open to wisdom and compassion beyond his human capacity. I think God has him in exactly the right place and time to bring people open to the Way, the Truth and the Life onto the narrow path that Jesus is and proclaimed. I am living proof. Jordan, like so many others who speak out of Godly integrity and help toward conversion to the truth of Christ. Do not be so quick to blithely dismiss these men and women.
@@seliussanctus3100 I disagree. His philosophy isn't grounded on the Bible, he already had his philosophy and just started checking into how he can support his reasoning by the Bible about 6yrs ago.
And as you said, its because it is "logical and wise", and it keeps society functioning.
He give a quick "honorary mention" to "be like Christ", then goes right back to his reasoning on the positive contribution to society on this earth that Christianity has.
Jesus didn't die to have a positive impact on society in this world, He died so our soul wouldn't pay for the "logical and wise" things we do on this earth... For the "positive impact" Christians have on this earth...

Over intellectualism, way over my head. But simple understanding is the way. Why complicate a truth, believe in Jesus, repent and call on His Name.
Simplicity is preferred, but that doesn't work for everyone. Obviously. A better way of looking at this, I think, is a positive story here of people that cannot simply believe as you ostensibly do being able to find a path to belief as well. That is, it's a good thing.
As a side note, speaking of keeping things simple, telling non-believers to repent is pointless. Only believers (or the over-educated that dismiss such things anyway) typically know what "repent" means. Heck, before I started learning about Christianity as a teenager, I thought people that shouted "repent!" were telling me to "grovel" before the Lord. And honestly, even though I know better now, it still sounds like that's what people mean by the way they say it.
I believe it would be more helpful if you say what it means rather than using the word itself. It's like church jargon--chances are if someone knows what it means, they likely don't need to be told to do so.

I’m still stupid often but, hopefully, choose the best way forward mostly. But THANK GOD, I’m forgiven and I’m saved - regardless of what happens next! He IS A GREAT AND GOOD GOD! It is people who make mistakes and give Him a bad name - but He didn’t do those things that others blame Him for!!!
JESUS PAID THE PRICE FOR MY SINS (& yours!) I have been ransomed - as in the old history - a sacrifice was required to take away sins - AND JESUS CHRIST WAS OURS. Just turn to Him right now! He loves you and wants to give you the better life that He planned for you to have!!!
As much as the video clip between the Peterson and Brand was compelling, your final comment at the end of the video encapsulates what these 2 men are finally figuring out. Extremely well stated Going to share that clip!
In 2020 I watch JP crying talking about Jesus and I knew he had encountered Jesus then I heard in my spirit that this will be a Saul to Paul Season and JP was the satirist but also I knew Russell would be shifting and a few others. It’s been beautiful to watch!! God is so good!!
The talk about props in a play brought me back to The Prince of Egypt.

I love these kinds of conversations! These are honest and productive discussions. Whether we agree or not, we should converse with civility. I LOVE IT!
Uplifted again as always. Thanks.
I find the conversation intellectually satisfying, no doubt. I relish in the electricity and passion with which he speaks, full of wonder and determination to validate Christ. Ultimately a lot of words to say- Christ is the way, the truth and the light. Knowing God is literally eternal life, accepting him as your Lord and savior is all that is required of you. Once done in earnest, your burdens can be laid down, despite what comes you know you are redeemed, will prosper and will be delivered. Peace will be with you and the world will know peace.
When finding God becomes fashionable it has become idolatry. The scripture says “having a form of godliness but deny its power; have nothing to do with them.”
