It is the VeeGo 750 by Ride Scoozy. BTW, I credit buying an e-bike with changing me from a 225 pound housebound 73 year old, man with severe COPD to a 195 lb, 74 year old young man who has put 1,664 miles on his e-bike since this past October. My sister and her husband, after watching the changes in my life have gone out and bought their own e-bikes (from Rad bikes, as Seattle is just an hour drive away). If anyone my age asks if they should buy an e-bike my answer is "Yes, yes. Hell yes!"
I bought my Ridge Rider around 2019, although Ebikes are only supposed to go 20mph the one I test road was easily getting to 28mph and that was why I bought it. When I picked it up the guy told me with this being a newer year the speed was reduced and I wouldn't get the speed of the test bike. Although the settings allow you to increase top speed a little over 20mph I was hoping there was a way to get it back to 28mph like the test bike. Is this possible or did they change the controller to prevent it? Ant help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Rob
I bought a used Pedago. It changed my life...best investment if you can afford. If you can't afford it then rob a bank, no seriously commit a federal crime to get a well made ebike.
I bought a used 2017 Pedego City Commuter in May 2023. Very impressed with the quality. I got it over 23mph. I didn't reset the speed. Bought it at a bike shop. The dealer put in a new 52V battery and new computer.

I RECENTLY HAD accident and slightly bent the crank on the left side. Pedego sent me replacement. I removed the set screw, but I have not been able to remove the crank and its as though it has become fused.. Any thoughts some tool to make my efforts frustrating??? Thanks Dick Moulton
I tried changing the speed the way shown in the video for off road use and it showed the increase in the display unit it still will not go over 15mph what am I doing wrong any help please
@@BlueMonkeyBicycles im not sure I bought it off ebay last November but it has the same type of control panel as in your video I change it from 15.5 to 20 miles per hour but it does not increase the speed at all could it be that its been overridden by a factory set up I would welc9me any help on this matter thanks
@@thefuhrer9004 Yeah, it might have a differently programmed display that doesn't allow for a higher top speed. From my understanding Pedego changed this configuration, but I'm not sure when. You might be able to ask Pedego for an older display (from the year this video was made). If they have them, and if they use the old programming, there's a chance it could work.

Pedego starting limiting the speed through the controller, and this display modification became obsolete

Tool is called a crank puller..there's a video on this
I left bike out in the rain and now it has water in the control panel. It has no way to open up. How do I get the water out? Thanks
Let it dry or Replace the unit.
