- The Pedego Boomerang is one of the easiest electric bikes to mount with extra low step-thru design, frame stiffness reduced as a result. Powerful 500 watt geared motor is quiet to operate and blends in well with cassette and rear disc brake rotor. Great utility with LED lights, full length fenders with mud flaps, matching chain guard and sturdy carry rack.

I bought a Prodeco Genesis RS and a Bommerang. The Prodeco is definitely a better quality bike. Nice video here.
Would you have any advice for potential buyers regards to the price of these bikes? I do like this style of bike as it reminds me of a Vespa scooter, however, you're pointing out that it does not have the center crossbar for transport makes me wonder. I would like to transport such a bike on my RV instead of a tow car. Definitely something to think about.
2,900-3,650 top end includes the stronger battery/mag wheels/fenders/deluxe seat w/springs/balloon tires. getting mine tomorrow. (60yrs/angry hips)- I have a pickemup, and I'm getting a platform rack.
So what is the range WITHOUT PEDALING, on a fairly flat surface, with a 200 pound rider, at 5-7 mph?
I am not a fan of Pedego as they have sold bikes knowing they were defective. Pedego had a major problem with their wire loom and throttle. The bike would just stop running. The people at Pedego admitted thy had a problem with this. My problem is that they have a doxen or so bikes for sale at the local dealer and THEY ARE NOT RETROFITTING all the bides in the showroom that will more than likely fail. They are selling bikes they know to be defective! To top it off the selling dealer, Sniders in Bakersfield did not want to help with the repairs....they have the customer do the repairs. PRDRGO SOLD ME A BIKE THEY KNEW WAS DEFECTIVE.
That's a real bummer, I'm sorry to hear about the negative experience you had and sad that the shop wasn't doing more about it :(

That bike frame looks like the Biria Easy Boarding. Does any one know how much they'll be selling for?
Exactly... I'm glad you pointed that out. Before I reviewed the Pedego Boomerang I contacted Biria and Pedego to see if they were partnering or something. Sounds like that is not the case, I feel like this frame is almost an exact clone of the Easy Boarding... Not sure what to say about that except that I respect Biria and believe they will have a model of their own that is electric in the future. This is not confirmed but I know they have had ebikes in the past and I would love to see another one from them www.biria.com/series/easy-boarding
Electric Bike Review Thanks for responding. I know Biria will release an e-bike in 2015, Easy Boarding frame, cylinder battery behind the seat post, 3 speed. I couldn't find any other info. Let's wait for 2015. Thanks for the vids, and wish a quick recovery from Vegas late nights.

Hi I'm in the market for an ebike and am looking for one that can take park trails in my neighbourhood. These trails are not too rough but they are not always paved and can be pretty rudimentary in some parts. Just wondering if this bike would be good for that.
I bet this bike bends very easily and wont last long riding on trails.
Is this bike rainproof?
