I recently came across your channel, and think your content is excellent. I'm a licensed mental health professional and have been seeing more BPD in my practice recently. I appreciate folks like yourself creating this content and making it available to the general public. Thanks so much!

I have a dbt workbook and was kind of reading it chapter by chapter. I didn't know that that's now how you're supposed to tackle it, no wonder why it's overwhelming. Thank you for your vid! Appreciated!

VERY helpful, thanks! I'm in a position where some things are covered by universal health care, but not all things. So far everything has been self-directed, down to initiating new meds for the BPD stymptoms that are intolerable. Because I don't know any better, I thought I could make my nightmares go away with some lifestyle adjustments, then realised they are another whole thing I need to build into my BPD management. It was really discouraging to com3 to this realisation.
Thanks so much for going over the componenet of the book and a recommended order. Knowing the kind of $$$ involved for a course also really helps

Thank you! I have ordered this book quite some time ago and yes, it’s very scary! I would like to talk to you more about working through this book with me.

WOW, DBT is way cheaper in Australia. Although, I haven't added up the cost of individual sessions on top of the programme, which is where it would add up, I guess. But some work on a sliding scale, it just depends. Great video. I'm new here and loving it!

dbt is great for alot of mental disorders. Prized for saving many bpd peoples lives, it saves other sufferers with different disorders lives as well.

I would be interested in your one on one coaching. I’ve completed a DBT group therapy course before when I was a teen but that was 10 years ago. Unfortunately I live in a small city now and they don’t have adequate resources for DBT or any decent treatment for people with BPD where I live.

Only in psychiatric systems will a person get a diagnosis we have to be carful with labels that come out of DSMs and iCDs systems we need to look at the whole person psychiatric label never leave a persons clinical record - they become the universal language spoken by mental health services - I feel this is to narrow a view and only serves to pathologies individuals the question we should be asking is not what’s wrong with you ? But what happened to you? Using case formulation is more empowering than diagnosis 😀

Are you supposed to write in/mark off your DBT book as you go through therapy? Asking as a friend for someone going through it
