hahaha, i bought this on ebay on a whim but the meter must have been sold off separately and the iron lit up but stayed cold. i got a 50% refund. but i do use the solder sucker and copper wire.. 15 bucks au. it looked like a nice little starter pack for my grandson but on reflection , what the hell was i thinking
As you saw, you aren't missing much with the meter gone. Too bad the iron didn't heat up though that does actually provide a little value. But yeah, even for $16 it's a bit much.
