      Volt Bae fr. The whole last 2 weeks have been about how kyrie wants more vets and leadership on the team. With this, it’s clearly still a jab at the team and young players, no doubt

      I agree. Rachel and TMac make a valid point but Brian is right. According to Kyrie, he is now the self appointed leader of the "underachieving" Celtics. It's up to him to teach his "knucklehead" teammates because he was once just like them.

      Smh the media always gotta dig into the negative shit he definitely dragged it kyrie ain’t say it like that, I can’t break down someone’s intentions because I’m not a mind reader can’t say it’s a shot because it’s no evidence just a matter of opinion don’t speak as if it’s facts but what we do know is that that’s his story it’s genuine and true, his teammates can do one of two things be a lil girl and take it personal like a female or grow up understand Kyrie’s Direction and learn from Kyrie decisions throughout his career and get the most out of the situation he tryna help them grow up faster and showing by example calling bron and being a man to reflect on oneself mistakes nobody’s perfect but you can get better everyday

      @Phan Nguyen yeah I see what you mean but honestly a player like LeBron is always gonna lead. Injured Lebron, Old LeBron, Young LeBron, Prime LeBron, Old Injured LeBron is still gonna lead, it's in his nature and leading a team is frankly apart of his playstyle.

    Kyrie was DEFINITELY throwing his teammates under the bus. I didn't even know it was possible to not see that. He's CLEARLY saying he's in that Bron spot now, and the kids he's dealing with just don't know.
    Him calling LeBron may have very well been genuine. But his genuine thought was that he's struggling with these damn kids.
    Also, he could have called LeBron and not told anyone. Him taking the time to tell the press that he called Bron, and to spell out what they talked about only served one purpose, to elevate himself and belittle his teammates.

      Did you guys not watch the entire interview? He said minutes before the LeBron talk that Jaylen was right, that he shouldn't be pointing fingers at the young guys and that he needs to try and empower them not through calling them out using the media. He essentially apologized to Jaylen and the rest of the team. And in the same interview y'all think he was coming back at his teammates throwing them under the bus? Stop

    • @TizOnly1
      @TizOnly1 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@frankj3676 so.. not sure if you have any experience dealing with human beings, but a lot of times they can think they're doing something and actually be doing the exact opposite. In this moment, whether he intended to or not, the ENTIRE point of what he was saying was to elevate him above his teammates, and place himself in the role of having to be the teacher for guys who don't know what they're doing, and don't know how to listen.
      There's literally no other way to take what he said. What else was he saying besides that?

    Brians right...and why even bring it up to the media that you made the call? I wouldnt say it wasnt 'genuine'. I just think it was strategic because its also a jab at management with an upcoming free agency and trade deadline approaching
    Kyrie has to remember that as 'good' as he is, these youngens he speaks of not only went seven games in the Conference finals last season (while he was at the dentist) , but the team has struggled since his return. This is, of course after having left 'his own team' - the Cavs which were also struggling with him at the helm until Lebron came back and made them instant contenders.
    There's no 'i' in team but there's no doubt an 'i' in Kyrie.

    This is simple, Kyrie feels the young guys in Boston aren't listening and is feeling frustrated. Now it made it think how lebron might've felt when Kyrie was trying to do it his way. This while also wanting his teammates to see and hope they realize they're wrong lol.
