Abdullah Alsalem Think about it like this, you replace Melo with LeBron and you add Rajan Rondo. Both Rondo and LeBron are great facilitators of the basketball. I don't think they'd have huge chemistry issues tbh. Jr. Smith, Amare and Chandler were already part of the real life New York team.
Lebron is not suppose to be shooting, Rondo couldn't shoot at this time, Amare standing in mid range territory at best, Tyson Chandler isn't a stretch guy. Jr smith is the only 3 point threat. I don't see how this team wins games when all you have to do is not give Jr any space. The paint will already be clogged up as is cause you can just sag off of rondo and help on everything. Jason kidd helps a bit but you have him coming off the bench so....

LeBron would've stayed in New York because Jimmy Butler's game got a whole lot better. With that, noticing that he was serious talent and showed that with them 2, they could bring more talent to the team. Who doesn't want to ring a ring? It's obvious that they sign a big man that actually can help and still have some assets to pull off a trade for another good player. Such as another big man or a better player in general

The celtics would never had made that trade. In that point in his career people thought of Rondo as a top 5 pg. I'm not saying the trade wouldn't have ever happened I'm just saying there had to be first rounders involved not Landry Fields.

Nick not going to lie the setup was really bad. Not only has Wade come out and stated that he and Lebron were going somewhere together regardless and that without bosh it would have been Chicago, so rather than making this realistic and putting Wade and Lebron together, you keep Wade on the heat (your team) and send Bosh to the Bulls, if you had put Bosh on the Heat I could have seen something where Bosh and Wade teamed up but the way you set all that up it was really too much of a stretch from what actually would have happened. Rest of the video was great but the setup just made no sense.
He wouldve done one year in NYC and left. Lebron would never play in NYC because he wouldnt be able to handle the criticism. New york fans and media are very hard on their athletes. Its all good when they doing good and winning but one slip up and all hell breaks loose.
So the Nets acquired Melo instead of Deron Williams, but what about D-Will? The Jazz wanted to move him bad where would he move to?
What loss in reputation? He left cause Cavs continued to get him either aging stars or guys who while talented, weren’t really winning players. He completed his contract and left. There is no loss on reputation.
