you made some very good points, enough is a sweet spot, too much doesn't mean better. For a sporty daily car, m2 is perfect, fast but not too aggressive. Also its size and space are just right, I hate ppl complaining it's being 2-door car with a mid sized trunk, like they are carrying 4 passengers and renovation materials every single day. However, if you do go to track day very often, M2's cooling and braking are much weaker than the completion. m2's braking fades much faster and needs more time to chill compare with the m2 comp, and you wouldn't pay much attention on the exhaust in that scenario. But yes, for daily, m2 > m2 comp.

I own a s55 m2 and have to say, N55 is really good for the money. Both gens keep their resale really well. I took the s55 just because of its more aggressive looks, the new seats, the upgrades that it came with from the factory. I also needed more power but on a sense of not me having to tune it or ykwim. I respect all cars in general and one of those has to go to any m2 like it’s the predecessor of the 1M which is one of the most iconic bmws ever built period.
I wanna get an n55 m2 lci and swap m2 comp seats and bumper and mirrors onto it, id rather an engine that sounds great over one that has more power and i prefer the power delivery of a single turbo

I chatted to a random about their comp for 30mins. Then he revved it. Stock it is totally embarrassing. My N55 M2 with sports car and stock exhaust sounds pseudo exotic. Can recommend a turbo inlet for better response and adds noise somehow too. I have MST V2. How you liking stage one? That's all I want too stage two I feel is pushing things a bit much.

Having driven and compared both, I would say the M2C is a better car in every way. Even the seats are much better in the M2C. The M2C sounds different as standard, but can be made to sound much better with exhaust upgrades. Pops & bangs are for 12 year olds son.

I fitted the bmw peformance pads, two track days with no issues or brake fade.

They hold value well? How well will a 2018 hold if I get it with 20k miles at 55k (CAD) and sell it 3 years later at 40k?

You can code different steering, traction control and rear diff maps, I’m using the m2 cs settings using Thor flasher.
