    Who cares about these problems. When you put your foot down all the problems just fade away. 😂

    Is that not the coolant temp gauge? Normally when the coolant comes up to temperature the oil is slightly behind. So a few minutes after the coolant is warm the oil will be up to temp as well 👍

    Totally agree with the fuel tank I get 300 miles granny driving on a full tank, with around 25mpg average.
    I'm gonna get a P3 vent gauge for the oil temp. My LCI one has a temp gauge that's similar style to that but does actually have values on it.
    Totally agree on the seats, looking for comp ones but hard to get.
    The auto start stop I just get into the habit of hitting the off button. Mine is coded out but doesn't always work so I just hit the off button.
    My most annoying feature is the fact that if you turn the ignition on with the door open and then shut the door, it turns it off!

      Ha! I’ve never even noticed the last one - I have to test that out! And agreed bro I think I should also go P3 gauge and m2 comp seats 😇

    Stalk is so weird…never seen it being used ever. Probably a factory defect

    You have to vote against people that would allow the start stop function. You know who they are.

    With bimmer code you can stop the start stop. The other “hate” things are nonsense.

    Does the auto start/stop "feature" not automatically turn off in sport/sport plus modes? My 2022 Z4 does and I never drive it in comfort/eco modes anyways so don't have to worry about it.

    • @NVERLIFT
      @NVERLIFT  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Weirdly enough - I drive it in sport always and it doesn’t automatically turn off for some reason - my previous car used to turn the auto stop/start off in sport exactly like you say 😎

    I own an OG M2.
    1) The fuel tank is fine. The one thing I can criticise is the area behind the fuel filler flap. It collects water, and after washing the car, the area is full of water which doesn't drain away because it's tilted inwards so it can't empty with gravity. This is a slight design flaw.
    2) The coolant temp gauge is ok but yes it lacks an oil temp gauge. If you just make sure you drive the car for a good 15 to 20 mins and warm it up properly before giving it the beans then you won't go far wrong.
    3) The seats are great. The M2C seats everyone raves about, I think are worse. They don't have the cushion/base extender.
    4) The start/Stop is exactly the same on EVERY BMW of that era, so you can't pick on the M2. I coded it out on my M140i.
    5) You find the key boring wtf, grow up man.

      Dinky fuel tank is NOT “fine”. Tons of us owners feel this way. It’s ridiculous.

    • @DjNikGnashers
      @DjNikGnashers 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BrakRulesAll It's no worse than dozens of other cars.
      I own one, and it's not a problem for me.

      Yeah none of them are anything major - mostly minor annoyances. Like I said - I absolutely love the car, but every car has its flaws even if they are small.

    Bmw 140i the b58 >>> N55

    • @NVERLIFT
      @NVERLIFT  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Definitely a better motor in terms of reliability and ease of making power. However N55 is so much more characterful - better sound, makes power almost like a naturally aspirated motor.
      But one day I’d be super keen to get a b58 car 😎
