Shame on ANY DENTIST who LIES TO HIS PATIENTS!!! Or operating on patients not having a clue!!

I saw 2 different dentists, 8 months apart, that when I told them both how much my molar upper right hurt me, #3 tooth, neither one referred me out to a Endontist. The tooth that was hurting was a very old root canal. Now, Endontist tells me he doubts he can save that tooth. 😢
Found out, in the state of Nevada, the greedy rich business owners including dentists all own the politicians and our laws screw every patient while protecting even the most inscrupulous dentist.
No attorney even wants to file any lawsuits against them. One attorney told me the laws are so difficult to maneuver that he gave up filing any dental suits forever!
We live in such a cold, cruel country where the rich own the politicians. F this.

@@andreah6379 I had an attorney tell me there is no such thing as a dental malpractice law suit. He said they do not file them EVER & he is correct. You will never be able to sue your dentist for horrible work. The dentists know this. We as patients find it out the hard way. I pray every day for a solution that will help me get my life back. I also try to tell my story to people to help avoid such a nightmare if I can help even one person I would feel happy.
God iOS doing an amazing work in my through all of this. Since I wrote my last comment I have stopped crying , I am doing my best to get up every day and be productive. I am not paralyzed with fear & I believe God has an answer for me. The hopelessness was awful. I trust I will get the miracle I am praying for. I pray we ALL DO!!!

“Emotional” doesn’t even begin to describe it. Most American’s gross annual income wouldn’t cover the initial surgery. Insurance doesn’t cover it. Then add in every other expense because a person can’t only pay the dental bill. This is the kind of thing that will drive someone to the brink of thinking “the world is better off without me”

Yes I am was one of those people. My teeth were not healthy and I didn’t have the money to fix them. I had them pulled at low income dental clinic in February. They charged based on our income. These places don’t give you dentures. So I bought some really pretty face masks off Amazon. I can be in public and no one knows. I am missing all my teeth. Eating I am back on the same type of solid food. I was before my teeth were pulled. Except for crunchy hard stuff. Yes it was sad that I lost my teeth. But I have a lot to be grateful for. The dentist who pulled those teeth. Stopped infection that was spreading. It was only matter of time before. Things would become life threatening. Eventually I will have dentures it might be few years. But I will get them. Whether it is teeth you can’t fix or something else you can’t afford to do. You got realize the most important thing. Is you with or without teeth. Are still the same person. You aren’t ugly or failure. Sometimes things happen that are beyond your control. It does get better you just take one day at time.

Invention of All on 4 is really a disservice to the dental patients of the world. From 90s till mid 2000, full arches of implant restorations were done with the traditional design of porcelain fused to noble metal, based on crown and bridge principles. Cleansibility and proper bite were critical to success, in addition to esthetics. Restorations lasting for 20 years or more are the norm. What I see, ever since the movement to All on 4, are inevitable failures of very expensive restorations. Why? Because all the basic principles of crown and bridge design are violated....very very sad!

They failed you want go outside the country putting yourself at greater risk. Absolutely nuts to do this. All to avoid removing your teeth at night. • @mattm8441
      @mattm8441 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

Cantilever basically just means the unsupported teeth that are not screwed in. They place 4 implants and the teeth on the prosthesis directly below that are going to be supported best obviously, and the further down you go without an implant the less support, so she got the implants weirdly placed too close together. the back two should have been wider, but for whatever reason were not.. and it leaves 3 molars "hanging" in a sense without that abutment support which led to the problems. The fix is to either just remove the end molars with a new prosthesis (I don't know if they would just "cut them off" the current one) so it's less pressure, or fix what the original dentist should have done and place the implants in a proper location. That means 2 new implants which likely would cost around $5,000, plus a new prosthesis probably? And no idea what that is, but I'm sure if a single crown runs you around $750, that's also in the mid thousands. I bet if she had it completely fixed to her satisfaction, at a decent dentist, she's probably looking to pay at least $7,000, and often closer to the $12,000 she was quoted to fix it. You never know what it will cost or how good the dentist is because they don't have price tags. You sit in a chair, they tell you why you need something done, and to give permission to do it, then charge you. It's absolute insanity. But like politics, we know it's totally messed up yet just accept it and support it with our votes/money.

Won't happen here in Nevada. Just found out how our state laws protect every dentist in malpractice and negligence.
One attorney was really fed up when he left his message telling me he use to file claims against these greedy dentists but now the laws are so difficult to work with that his job is impossible & he refuses to file another dental suit again.
Called 15 attorneys. No one wants to touch my case of malpractice.
People need to vote for politicians that work FOR them--Not the greedy rich.

You can't expext honesty when this type of profit is involved. Some dentists are pure evil. Years ago, a dentist kept trying to sell me an implant instead of a bridge, telling me lie after lie. Finally, he intentionally installed a bad bridge that made it impossible to chew on that side - just to teach me a lesson that I should have listened to him. After a complaint to the Dental Board & consultations with other dentists who contacted him, he refunded me the $3,500.00 so another dentist could re-do the bridge.

When you have big money like dentists do, you want to control how you can make even more. Greed makes the rich want to own politicians that loosen or erase the laws that protect the consumer, you & me.
In Nevada, I just learned today, not one attorney of the 15 I called want to even file any suits against dentists here because the laws are so hard to work with as an attorney working to get relief for your client, they all just give up.
Greed. The more $$$$ these guys make, the more they want.

Instead of placing additional implants, could the patient have been offered a shortened prosthesis by removing one tooth from each side as suggested by the other dentist?

too bad this Dr in the video didnt say the other Dr didnt put support implants under her molars, because one possibility is that she had no bone there to insert the implants. I understand that if that the case the previous dentist should ve not put mollars there. shame on that loser dentist for making this ;ady paying 50K $ and go through this. big loser!

I got full set dentures and for now they are working with good application of adhesive and I’ve changed my chewing and bite.I can chew flat ice yeah i know I shouldn’t but it’s a habit,i can chew thick slice apples, subway sandwiches, hot wings, hard cookies, some nuts no problem.Sticky foods are however are still an issue So no tootsie rolls LOL,haven’t tried chocolate bars with caramel but i don’t normally eat that stuff anyway. Can eat hard dark semi sweet chocolate.Don’t think ill ever have an issue with top dentures but do believe eventually I’ll need bottom implants

I am a smoker, I had a tooth fail, went to a local dentist, told them I'm a smoker upfront, I was given the option to just extract or have an implant. They told me because its close to the smile line I should have the tooth extracted and have an implant put in, cost $3000 and after the procedure they tell me I have to quit smoking cold turkey. I have no intention of quitting, not right now, there's no way I can just up and quit cold turkey. I wish I just had the tooth extracted and when the time comes to quit then deal with any implant procedure. I feel like I was upsold to have the implant put in and now I regret the entire situation.

Dr. Choi you extracted my #31. I barely got to talk to you. All you said was "this one needs to go". I was referred to you for #31 and #18 to be extracted. I chose the 31 and got a second opinion on rhe 18th. They did a root canal and saved my tooth now I wonder if I could have saved the 31. Why didn't you even explain to me why 31 needed to go? Also there was no after instruction and I was bleeding when I left. I see your channel and a completely different dentist. I still have dental issues and looking for solutions but as I said you only said one phrase to me with no explanation. Scarry experience
