1 screen in Meet on Windows: you see notes in Presenter View; audience sees full screen slides

Many presenters are working from home or a remote location with just their Windows laptop. They want to deliver a PowerPoint presentation on Google Meet where they can see their notes in Presenter View while the attendees only see the slides.
This video shows you how to share the Slide Show window in Google Meet in Windows so the attendees see your full resolution slides while displaying Presenter View on your laptop screen so you can see your notes. This solves a problem that many presenters have struggled with.

Hi there, thanks for the video. From the select window menu, I can only see one screen to choose from, even though my ppt is in presenter mode. Any suggestions?

I'm glad you found the video helpful. I just checked and I see all 3 PowerPoint windows in the Google Meet sharing dialog for windows. I don't know if you have an older version of PowerPoint or if there is another issue. Sorry I can't offer more guidance.

I am not familiar with the datashow app so I am not sure if this works. If you have two screens you have more options. This video is for people who only have one screen.

i get this and it’s so great thank you for sharing but what’s the trick if you have a video to show too? how do i get the audio for the video to play for my audience? when i do it now i can hear it but my audience can’t let me know and thank you!!!

According to this article from Google (support.google.com/meet/answer/9308856?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop), audio can only be shared when sharing a browser tab. So it looks like you would have to stop sharing your slides and share a browser tab that has the video in it. Not very convenient but that's what it appears Google makes you do.
