    I replaced the radiator in my 2008 Pilot today using this video. This is by far the best video I’ve seen that helped me.

    My 2001 Odyssey lost it's radiator at 330k. I replaced my radiator and coolant hoses over the weekend. Your section on bleeding the coolant system was very helpful.

    You made this process completely easy everything has gone smoothly loved the house clamps went out and bought a set for this after seeing you use them they made the job so much better not having to deal with transmission fluid on top of everything else stl definitely being using your videos from here on out best there is and very thorough

    i did it last weekend bought radiator from the link below,,,,wow nice price perfect match, i just to it out the box and in the van.....took me and my 15 year old son 2 hours and 25 minutes we timed it,,,if we had to do it again it would take right at an hour, now that we know is best to take all bolts from top so when you get to the bottom you can wiggle and push up and out to get to the metal lines ....

    Great video, had local car repair shop change the radiator for the 2008 odyssey radiator, but the transmission fluid started to slowly leak from the van after they put in the new radiator. After reviewing this video, I noticed it could due to the loose connection clamps for the two transmission lines. Very helpful !

    Awesome video, I own a 2005 Odyssey with the same problem. She has over 200k miles on her and the radiator finally gave out. Also going to replace the condenser and both fans. This video is straight forward and simple to duplicate. Doing the job myself being I know my way around my Ody. Kudos to you!!

    Great video! My 2008 was overheating and I smelled antifreeze. I had the dealer replace the radiator but less than 2 years later I am experiencing the same issue. I will have them check it out again. If it’s not covered under warranty I will do it myself following the steps in your video.
    Great narration, lighting and camera placement!

    Great video, I have a 2008 Pilot and the process is similar. The Pilot videos are not as good or detailed as this one. This video filled in a lot of gaps for me. Thanks again.

    Why did you not bleed the engine block also? using a clear hose going to the yellow funnel to make sure all the air is out of the system.

    Great video my transmission cooling line burst the steel was rusty the two 10mm bolts were also rusty when I tried to take them out the heads stripped away I manage to break the steel line has much as I could in order to remove the radiator. I had to go to Honda and order a new line,bolts and holes I practically got a headache from lying on the ground for 30 minutes what a nightmare.

      Get a can of Kano AeroKroil penetrating oil. Not available in consumer retail stores as it is marketed for professional and industrial use. It beats anything I have ever bought in auto parts stores.

    Well done video. Excellent lighting and editing. I love that you took the time to clean the brackets and tank before reinstalling; I cringe when people re-install dirty parts. I would only add that it might be a good idea to replace the thermostat at this time as well since the system is already drained.

      @@dial2fast I'm sorry for so many questions, my engine feel super hot when you get closer to it, i was steam coming between alternator and the radiator, the coolant reservoir was above the max level, it wasn't before, any suggestions that this could be?

    • @dial2fast
      @dial2fast  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rafatorres1420rt It's hard to troubleshoot without seeing it, but if there is a leak, then look for drips on the ground or see where it's getting wet. Also if it's antifreeze leak, you will definitely smell it.
