I have been wearing Thorogood boots for a couple years now. The pair I currently have I'm not liking. A few weeks after wearing them the right one smells horrible. I have tried everything to get rid of the smell and can't. I have worn workboots for 30 years and never had that happen. I just bought these. Hope I like them.

Bravo my friend. Thank you for sharing this. I actually just picked a pair of these same boots up the other day at the local Boot Barn. While I was shopping for boots I happened to run across a pair of "mis-matched" boots that had been custom ordered for a customer (one size 9' 1/2 & one size 10'), who never picked them up. It just so happens that my left foot is a 9" 1/2, and my right is a size 10"......they were marked down, brand new to $56.10 (I kid you not)!!!! Needless to say, the wife was ecstatic...lol. So the break-in w/ them, mirrors your experience to a "T." Very comfortable, especially once the leather warms up. My feet feel great, but I have been getting a "pinching" in my lower-back. I wear boots every, and have for as long as I can remember. I suspect that it's the difference in heel height as you mentioned. Great review, and I'm anxious to see if you still have them. They feel good and I like them but I got the 13 ee but I might have a size or half size too big because my toe box feels great but the sides bow out a little and leave a crease in that part on the side by the stitching. Do your boots do that as well or is it just that mine are too wide?

Their factory soles are to spongy. Gonna resolve mine with vibrams.
How these boots going two years later?
Good honest review I just picked up a set of ca7011s not sure what the difference is also 6” mock toe I’m excited to break them in and see them age
