@Unbroken Believer I don't believe that. I think Ukraine is a country that's worked hard to become honest and more democratic. Remember, before 1991 they were a part of the USSR and split off from them. This along with having voted for Valenskyy (to get rid of corruption) shows this to be the case. Everything is a process and it's not a black and white world.

@Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty • You find the most interesting aspects of the war to cover. Thank you for opening our eyes beyond the battlefield to the total participation of the Ukrainian people. I love the flexibility of the Ukrainians to go from paddleboats to military vehicles. 💪🇺🇦🕊🌻
Its a shame that the Western allies wont give them all the weapons they need... Each time we deny them a weapons system, we end up giving it to them a month or two later... They know what they need, so give it to them. The consequences of failure are just too great... Think that giving missles to Ukraine would provoke Russia? What are we going to do when Putins goons roll up to the Baltics or Poland and claim that they are mistreating Russian speaking minorites? Dismantle Nato or tell Putin that we dont want to hurt his feelings?... People underestimate whats really at stake and... We really are in Cold War 2.0, have no doubt about it, the thing is, are we going for a win, or are we going again towards half of Europe being Russia's b🤬ch?
Mad maxing all the old cars at hand is certainly a good way to add a lot of distributed mobility to UAF fighters break up squad sized elements into multiple expendable vehicles rather then one of the dwindling big soviet BTR/BMPs so those can be save and held back as fire support, tactical resupply or ambulance assets. If you can cut them down in weigh as much as profile with out lossing structural strength might even be able to operate these out the back of Mi-8 or mi17s as a kinda motorized air assault asset.
The other seat should be facing forward tho...so the one can protect front and the other back. UA has been very innovative in many areas... They made batteries for Jawelings, turned drones for mortal droppers etc... russia has no change other than turn everything into rubble - which is relatively easy to fix. Greetings to these men, they're cool inforcement for UA 💪👌 GLORY TO UKRAINE! 🥇💖🇺🇦🙏 🙏🇺🇦💖🥇SLAVA UKRAINI! 👏🇫🇮🇨🇭
As someone whose family had a Lada when I was a kid (they were the low cost car of choice here in Austria back then), I'm not surprised. These things are kinda unbreakable. My favorite memory is going to a cheap ski resort for the first time and everybody looking down on us for owning such a cheap car. Last laugh was ours when all the other cars wouldn't start after a week of skiing and ours started on the first turn of the key. IIRC my dad helped start at least 3 other cars that day.
They have some good ideas, like mount anti tank grenades from 1950's on drones, normally, you have to go suicidally close to an armoured vehicle, like 15m, they just 3d printed fins for better accuracy and off they go, just drop it without a chance being killed, then they use buggies with Ukrainian Stugna P anti tank missile for hit and run ✌️🇺🇦
Pop a Stugna-P on a high mount in the back and you have a beast of a homegrown Ukrainian technical. Perhaps put a new silencer on the exhaust the Russians will hear you coming from Moscow.
Solidarity with Ukraine! Ukraine heroically resists the Russian aggressor. The depraved genocidal criminal and his accomplices will pay for each of their war crimes and genocide against the people of Ukraine. . Glory to Ukraine! Slava Ukraini!

We've sent more to support them Russia and Ukraine turns combined we've been far from stingy, but some of us can give more then others and some of us don't have to worry about reserves as much as the others. It's always good to be able to take stuff like this and turn it into something new that does everything you need before you need it. I suspect making cars like this would have been a major help in keeping Maripol out of Putins terrorist hands these would have been hell to infantrymen and much harder targets the everything else
I hear motorbikes have been good for the boys too.... I've been wondering whether some large manufacturers would donate bikes, but maybe it could be applied to other such vehicles too.
I salute the Brave Ukrainian soldiers and to all Ukrainians in their fight for the freedom of the world because I don't believe Russia will stop at Ukraine. Slava Ukraine.
I guess technicals also work in Europe as well. These boys certainly did not invent that, but very much are adapting extant idea to their own use. It adds mobility, doesn't need specialist crew to operate and can carry something which has bigger punch than manhandled weapons.
What matters here is not the car. It shows that Ukraine is engaged in total war with every citizen contributing to victory in any small way they can. Sure, it produces was resources and it eases the load on the UAF but the real advantage is that frontline fighters know their country is behind them. That's will to victory. You can't buy that.
If they could add a Carl Gustaf grenade launcher for that thing, it would be perfect for crumping Russkie armor. Fast AF armed to the teeth... Reminds me of the Toyota War of the 80s, just a bit more high tech. I was reading the other day of Uke bike squads on electric bikes with Nlaws crunching through Russkie BMPs and after they had run out of ammo, scooting out at max speed, having destroyed a $1m dollar IFV with a $40k disposable missle launcher and an electric bike... 😍

Why We Do Need So Many People in the World
