I love how Wooting is doing all of this work to meet the needs of the (relatively) niche osu community
the osu community actually helped them getting more popular though

i said this in the discord but as a uwuting founder i feel like the delivery of the delay was not handled the greatest. I am a fan of wooting and completely agree with the delay to create the best product shows that the team has the users best intrests in mind BUT WITH THAT SAID,
knowing the process was going to be delayed, they would have known for quite some time and instead of putting out a public announcement in the discord that it was going to be delayed they sat on that information for a little too long in my opinion.
There were countless people posting the end of july/aug shipping screenshot from the pre order page and it kept on having to be the community's job to explain that it had been delayed. The delay was spoken about it on the twitch stream but if they were going to speak about it on the twitch stream, once again why not just publicly announce it then?
This shouldnt have been as big of a deal as it is but when you understand the demographic for this prodcut is for a game whos main audience is age is in the education range you can see why alot of people were upset. they were expecting to be able to enjoy it to the fullest before the academic year started and now that is no longer an option for them.
i am still very exited for the product but this could have been completely avoided with the wooting team just having a bit more clarity.
You are right. We failed to announce this earlier, it should've already been part of the previous update. We didn't pay careful attention to the timeline and communication, as we worked re-active (to the DVT process) instead of pro-active. We should know better, and will do so with anything else that comes up.

from an outside prespective this just looks to me that you guys are absorbed in creating the product (which is amazing) and it just slipped through

My delivery estimate before was late July, now it's late September. That's two months. At least be honest.

Ordered mine 3 weeks ago and i cant wait mine to arrive, and now hearing this makes me a bit sad, but its okay. Atleast i can focus more on real life before i lock myself into basement and play osu 24/7 with the UwU

Even more so, we are product centric, we care deeply. We have grown the team with more specializations to further improve our skill and expertise. The growth comes with its own unique challenges, but the best interest for the product always comes first.

It's cute for sure, but it starts to perhaps look like a flaw when doing other lights and effects.

Basically, yes. Same tech, same switches. The case design is a little different.

completely unrelated to the uwu, you guys should start selling the 60HE with the option for L60 or L45 switches, like a barebones keyboard type of thing
We've got that coming in August/September!
Specifically our own Alu case, and a 60HE "module" version without case, switches or keycaps (So you can grab a 70x bag of L45 or L60 and put everything together yourself)

No immediate plan yet, we have a road map that would make this a future possibility, but we need time to shift our product offering strategy.
all things considered (as an uwu founder and not a member of the discord) i was expecting a delay like this, and honestly it could have been a lot worse. i’m more excited now because i know that you all are trying to make the best quality product possible and i appreciate your effort. although, i agree with Mallowed’s comment that this situation could have been announced a lot earlier to avoid the twitch viewers having to explain this to everyone else. this small communication issue though has been relatively minor and certainly not as bad as other larger companies

@@madebyalon3 no reports of it breaking as far as i know and its been used by some for a few months now. youre right the uwu will be better quality but the price is insane for what it actually is
there are multiple counts of it not performing the best and doubletapping and that stuff...

Expected this to be ready early next month now that I heard September and am extremely disappointed. I expect them to compensate most of us for this month delay. Getting our hopes up just to shatter us
