Great video! It has to be said that while this video is 1 year old, not only has every point about Manchester has become more valid, but even moreso than that! Manchester's property grows by 6% each year now, with the highest student population in the country, and by far the best metrics in terms of housing development in the whole country. A boom is coming to Manchester, and the best time to invest is just before the blast hits! 📈
Have you thought about Crewe? I bought a property there to invest because of HS2 (that has now been cancelled 😅) although the value has still increased by a lot. I believe it might be one to look at, potentially if the next government decides to continue with HS2.
Do you only invest in new-ish premium properties in Newcastle, or do you also buy older houses if they're in good nick and priced competitively? Thanks.
Legal&General with their BTR schemes accross the UK seems better investment - over 7% dividend, no tax if you buy through ISA, no hassle with tenants, spiteful councils, and populist politicians introducing anti-landlord laws.
What is your opinion on Birmingham - buying my first house; well got an offer accepted for a residential i will be living in long term. I feel like prices will rise; as a former Londoner seems like everyone sick of London.
Can I just clarify for Glasgow - is that stamp duty increase only for investment? How does that affect potential first-time buyers? (If there is any effect at all)
@NuclearYoghurt No effect for first time buyers, in fact it was postulated that this tax hike is supposed to make it easier for first time buyers to get onto the market.
Thank you for A+ content - both on TH-cam videos and on Podcast. Keep up the excellent work.

Class video 👍
Sheffield was on the up and coming list in 2022, it’s no longer on 2023 list. Is there a fundamental change? Thank you.
Awesome video! Which are your favourite areas in Nottingham, from a BTL perspective?
NG7. Close to University and Queens Med hospital. 2 miles from station. Tram links.
Totton. HS2 coming, tram links, close to M1.
why there was no Birmingham?
With Leeds, is this just the city centre? Cheers
You didn’t mention Birmingham!!
