We are Lia and AK, and we're excited to share our journey with you as we navigate the world of property investing, business, and working together as a couple.
AK: I left my corporate job after experiencing mental and physical health issues, and we started our TH-cam channel to document our journey as new property investors in 2019 with no upfront capital. Expect weekly videos where we provide project updates, share best practices, money-saving tips, and our learnings along the way.
Lia: With nearly a decade of experience building my own entertainment channel on TH-cam from 0 to over 330k followers, the unpredictable nature of a content creator's monthly income took a toll on my mental health. Starting my property journey was my way of future-proofing my income and creating a stable, regular source of revenue. Ultimately, my goal is to build a secure financial foundation for our future family.
Our goal is to make property investing accessible and understandable by sharing our story. We're passionate about inspiring others to take control of their lives, no matter what challenges they may face.

It would be nice to see cities from UK, as the title suggests, and not only England. I get that people abroad think UK = England, but those actually living here should know better. And it’s definitely not that Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland cities performs worst than these mentioned in the video…
Apart from this little deficiency, congrats on a great video. It was really insightful, substantive and generally helpful in terms of how a proper research should be conducted. Thanks 🙏
We moved to Birmingham from London in February and will be completing on our flat next week. The monthly mortgage is so low and it gives me London vibes 😅
Liverpool L1 property value down 13% last year and down over 30% in the last few years. I recently moved there, and I was considering to buy, but I'm very reluctant now. The city is super depressive, nobody around after 6pm , only students around, restaurant pretty much empty. I ask myself where employees actually are? I can't wait to be able to go back to London honestly.
You two give the best info out of all the TH-cam I'm watching. Keep up the good work. I would like you 2 to be my mentor.
I've been searching for a video like this for some time. Super helpful. Thank you. Really enjoy watching your channel.
Glad it was helpful!
Is it advisable if you live in London to get investment properties up north? When it's time consuming to drive up there
Awesome job and information as usual. Have a great week.
Thanks for the video! What is your opinion on Nottingham?
NE ie Newcastle will be the star investor area
Great video! you should do a video on tenant vetting, evictions etc. and the potential drag on your investment
Thanks for the idea!
Wonderfully Presented.
Can foreigners buy resale properties from the open market?
Thank You
Really enjoyed the video. I am actually based in Birkenhead, if you ever want to have a chat about the area again give me a shout. 👍
How about the average crime rate for each of these cities? Birmingham crime rate definitely highest.😅
I'm from Liverpool you really need to research what area you buy as some are no go areas and are run by drug gang's. Not all areas are the same as the city centre
Absolutely agree with you there
@@PropertyCouple A real estate agent offering me Church Walk - Bootle (Liverpool). Is this good project to invest?
Nice video, thanks! I'm here in the South East and the ROI on most deals is dismal. I'm not sure why any investor would buy here...Anyway, I'm thinking of buying an apartment in Birmingham and running it as serviced accommodation. Which areas would you recommend and what type of property would be most suited for that strategy?
We dont invest in birmingham so can’t advise on areas there.
The Manchester prices must be for the city centre only?
Amazing video… charts and all the data 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you 🙌
*Excellent presentation! How about NORWICH*
A great place is Fardon in Chester
Just wondering what do you guys think of Bristol or Bath?? Data and 10-yr potential??? Thank you. 🙏
I think the house prices are high and therefore lower yields but the capital appreciation will be good (around 17% over 5 years)
@@PropertyCouple greatly appreciate you getting back to me. Looking to purchase there. Mainly to help family out. Thank you. 🙏

It depends on your strategy. For Bath you will struggle to make your money back even in 10 years . The yield is incredibly poor and the houses prices can be as high in long-term.
If you are looking for strong capital appreciation. The value of your property can double in value easily in 10 years. You just need to target those areas that are earmarked for redevelopment and close to the HS2 station.
It's one of those rare areas in the city where you can get strong capital appreciation in the short term, medium and long term. Hope this helps
So what is your top pick among these 5?
Nice video
What about Nottingham?
What about it? :)
Lots of these videos on YT! All reliant on recency bias. It’s different times now and the punch bowl of BTL has been taken away. It’s a dead horse.
We are still investing in BTL. Still works well in the right areas.
Nice info, we are currently looking at Liverpool. Never thought about Birkenhead. It would be nice if you could share how you study an area, and how you decide which strategy would be more suitable.
Thanks for the request. Will look into this for the future.
I love that your site shows AK as one half and Lia as the other half, but it was a missed opportunity to say Lia was the better half, lol
Goes without saying
please timestamp your videos
People know this areas we need some other areas
Birmingham is biggest city after London in UK. You said biggest in W.Midlands😮
Is that all you took from the video?
So much useful information about Birmingham 🌹🌹
On paper it’s Birmingham, in reality it’s Manchester
Should’ve just said Greater Birmingham, would’ve made more sense.
@@joey-pn3xe. Birmingham will over take Manchester eventually. Cos of its geographical location and proximity to London
❤
Grest video as usual , was this a sponsored video at all?
Nope no sponsor on this video
