Sitting here with happy tears. Every xmas my dad would make his peanutbutter fudge. No one was allowed in the kitchen when he made it but he would give the recipe to anyone. No one was ever able to replicate it no matter how closely they followed the recipe. His was so creamy and smooth, it melted in your mouth and was just so addicting. He has been gone nearly 27 years now, and the first 2 xmas es after he passed I tried making it, would even buy others handmade pb fudge but none came close to his. I cannot wait to try yours as it actually looks like his did, quite light in color and creamy. And silky when you break it open. Thank you for sharing this and for bringing back many happy memories of my Dad at xmas time! 💖 Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones.
Have you ever used marshmallow cream when you add your peanut butter? My mom made peanut butter fudge for my husband. He was in the military and she mailed to him in cookie tins lined with waxed paper. He said it was always the highlight of mail call when it arrived. She passed away suddenly 2 years before his retirement. Though he still talks about her and her amazing fudge. Fudge travels very well if it is packed into the tins snuggly. Our military men and women really appreciate a taste of home and lets them know you appreciate their sacrifice. I love your recipes and videos. Especially because you speak so clearly without rushing that it's easier to learn from. Keep up the good work...you are greatly appreciated too.
I tried this recipe today, and it turned out awesome. I don’t have a Ninja Foodi, but I do have an instant pot, and it never occurred to me to use it for candy making. It has a heavy bottom, and the electric element keeps a steady heat. I love your videos. You’re a great teacher, and your recipes actually work. Thank you so much for your help.

It is because of you that I now own most of ninja's kitchen products and loving every bit of it. Keep up the good work and thank you once again.
That looks so good! A couple of years ago I found a recipe on FB for Peanut Butter Fudge that you cook and it was wonderful. Reminded me of the fudge my Stepmom used to make. Thank you for sharing,
I am 15 years trying to make the perfect fudge, it usually comes out to hard sometimes to runny. I have tried all kinds of recipes on the internet and have failed time and time again. I thought your other dishes have come out great why not i have everything. I was so nervous I dropped the lid to the 5 1/2 Ninja Foodie had to snap back on the steam release valve, then I hit the plastic rap dispenser had to put it back together and back on the shelf, then I bump the brown sugar and a entire cup of brown sugar went on the floor. By this time I am so up set, but decided everything is nearly ready might as well finish. The fudge came out perfect, I did add a quarter cup of peanuts in the end used a 8 by 11 dish. It is beautiful, so nice eating. Hubby is going to be pleased. I also made peanut brittle this morning and it came out perfect too. Not sure what I would do if you had not done this recipe and others, probably going down the road of not cooking. LOL
This is how I always made my peanut butter fudge-except I always used all white sugar- but thank you for the ideia of using half white, half brown-I will try it sometime!
Some fudge is harder than others as I'm finding out. I have not perfected the chocolate fudge yet, but this recipe is pretty easy! Just watch your heat and turn it down if needed.

Ohhhh my goodness!!! Just finished making this! Cleaned the lil bit of a line the spatula left in the pan (I KNOW I didn't leave it there😂) tastes so wonderful and not crazy sweet like choc fudge!! Yum yum!! I wonder what it will taste like room temp? We may never know...?? Haha... I noticed on the bottom of your white beater the plastic/covering has gotten scratched off..mine did also. Having mine for 20 yrs I never knew the beater is suppose to be adjusted. FYI: When it jumps and doesn't beat smoothly, is a sign it is hitting the middle lump in the bottom of the pan. So, if you or one of your followers don't know, with the raising arm in the up position, (without the beater installed) right where that arm attaches, there is a tiny screw that if turned 1/4 - 1/2 turn, not sure which direction, but it will raise or the opposite direction will lower the beater. Hi. I followed your recipe and made the fudge. It tasted good, thanks for the recipe! This is the first time I’ve made it so I’m not sure but is the PB fudge suppose to harden? Mine is still soft even after keeping it in the fridge.
Yes, it should harden similar to the texture of the inside of a peanut butter cup, maybe a little harder. If it's softer than that, you might not have cooked it long enough. I would check the calibration on the thermometer you used.
Thank you for your cooking demo today I loved it. Could you tell me where you got the utensil that you measured your peanut butter in please? Many thanks from Nottinghamshire U.K. xxxxx
It sounds like your mixture might have gotten too hot, I would reduce the heat a bit and maybe even try to stop the cooking at around 235F or so if you make it again.

This is funny, I love peanuts and things that have peanuts on them, but I don't like peanuts in my fudge or any candy really. I think it's a texture thing! I'm sure crunchy peanut butter would be great though, it's just not for me. LOL The powdered cocoa is an interesting idea.

Hi there! Just a question for you. Do you prefer the Ninja Foodi over the Instant Pot? Have had an Instant Pot for 5 years but living my Ninja appliances haha!
I really can't say. The ratios in fudge make a big difference in the outcome, and it is mostly sugar. Is there a reason you need to change the amount of white sugar specifically? You can probably decrease the white sugar and increase the brown sugar, but if you want to reduce the sugar by 1/2 cup, I'm not sure if the fudge will set up as firm.
If you are referring to the one with the peanut butter in it, it's from Pampered Chef: www.pamperedchef.com/pws/thesaltedpepper/shop/Favorites/Favorites/Measure-All+Cup/2225
HELP! I have never made fudge. I followed this recipe, although cut all quantities in half (as you suggest for a smaller amount) Sadly it never set up. It is way too soft. What did I do wrong??? Any suggestions??? Thank you in advance.
If it didn’t set up, it probably wasn’t cooked to a high enough temperature. Did you use a thermometer? If so, I would check and make sure it’s accurate.
@@TheSaltedPepper Thank you, I just ordered a new one from the Pampered Chef. I will try again when it arrives. I do believe my old one (20+ years old now) had a hairline crack in the glass. Thank you again for your help and advise.
So sorry but this recipe was a total fail for me. I took the milk and sugar mixture off of the heat at 239.7. As soon as I added the peanut butter the whole mass seized up and turned into a flaky dry mess. I used TWO thermometers to be sure the temp was correct and the peanut butter was at room temperature straight out of the jar. Scraped it all into my stand mixer and added some heavy cream and beat the crap out of it. It became more of the thickness that you showed on the paddle as being just right, but there were sugar crystals all throughout. Can't give it as a gift which was the plan but my son will probably gobble it down. 😥 After reading older comments I adjusted my top temperature downward because I live at 5000 ft of altitude. Fudge was nearly perfect. Next time it will be even better. Thanks everyone!
Tried this, I followed the directions exactly. I was very careful to do as instructed, but it turned out so hard that my kitchen aid mixer couldn’t handle it. And it did not taste like much. Discarded. Disappointed.
Watching this with my box of tissues that I needed from trying someone else’s recipe and having it FAIL into a horrible, straight out the back door mess!! I am a very experienced baker and I should have known by reading the recipe but wasn’t in the mood to make my go to recipe. So, sniff, I have had success with some of your recipes and I like the idea of using the ninja… Once I calm down I’ll give it a go. Thank you 🥹

@@TheSaltedPepper thank you
Recipe?
I just put it in the video description, sorry I was delayed. thesaltedpepper.com/peanut-butter-fudge/
Any one try it did it come out gritty?
This is my recipe except I cook it longer and add marshmallows at the end
I'm dribbling like mad but my teeth are screaming nooooo
It's so good though!
Can you not just pour it into the pan without sending it through the mixer? I dont have a mixer.
Yes, you can but make sure to stir really well. The mixer is just a little easier and cools it off.
Could you use heavy cream instead of whole milk?
I haven't tried the recipe that way, so I'm not sure how it would turn out. Let me know if you try it!
Write in warnan place all items names and size please Thank you So we can make
All of the printable recipes are on my website: thesaltedpepper.com/peanut-butter-fudge/
How about old fashioned maple fudge recipe. I am allergic to peanuts. No nuts please.
I'll have to work on that for next year!
Has anyone tried this recipe using almond milk instead of normal milk?
After reading older comments I adjusted my top temperature downward because I live at 5000 ft of altitude. Fudge was nearly perfect. Next time it will be even better. Thanks everyone!
Mine did not work AT ALL. I have to throw it all away
how did i get here
Tried this, I followed the directions exactly. I was very careful to do as instructed, but it turned out so hard that my kitchen aid mixer couldn’t handle it. And it did not taste like much. Discarded. Disappointed.
I'd demolish that plate
I tried this recipe 4 times!!! failure every time!!!!
What happened? It has to be a temperature issue or maybe the type of pan you are using.
I would actually pay u if u talked less
How much? My going rate now is about $200 for each minute I don't talk! LOL
@Carolyn King. Instead of being rude, you could mute the sound.
I actually appreciated her narration. Thanks.
Thank you 🥹
