Spring into Art with Megan Viscio: Botanical Plaster Casting

Let’s break out of our indoor art studios and go foraging outside in the fresh April air! The earth has so many wonderful art supplies to offer! Please join us for this Spring inspired Take & Make art program with local artist and teacher, Megan Viscio. Students will search outside for bits and pieces of plants and trees, learn how to make a clay mold and then pour a plaster cast, an art form that is magical and mysterious!. After the plaster has cured, you will be left with a three dimensional piece of art to keep or gift to a friend or family member. Take & Make Kits can be picked up at the library during curbside hours starting April 5. For grades 2 - 6. Young children will require assistance. Registration for this popular program is now closed.
