I have the LL Bean and its great def lil big on medium size tho. May get smaller one and whats up w eagle creek new pack it? No pics of inside anywhere???? Hmmm
TSA does not approve bags! This is a marketing feature added by the manufacturer. We have had an issue when traveling in Europe with a “TSA Approved” bag.
I don’t know if the TSA approves bags or not but that would be totally irrelevant once you leave the US as the TSA is purely an American government department, part of Homeland Security, I believe, but I could be wrong in that. The TSA has no authority outside of the USA at all.
Thank you, for some reason i have recently seen this alot and it definitely not a thing. There are airline approved bags (even that is subjective) but no TSA approved.
I use the bag smart bag and pack it open in my suitcase. I also put my pajamas, brush (for long curly hair), satin pillow case, undies, and other dental stuff until I get to my destination. When I get at my destination, I set it up as my hanging toiletry bag with the items from my liquids bag. It’s kinda like a packing cube. My liquids bag has everything else decanted in smaller containers.
If you ever do a follow up, have a look at the Ebags pack flat toiletry bag. I've gone through a handful of kits and settled on this one because it stacks neatly in my suitcase with my packing cubes and is convenient to use in the hotel room. Added: I see someone else also suggested this in their comment.
Tripped ❤ it and liquid bag that comes w/ it . I hook it to the out of suitcase until I go through screening , once done I just put it back in to my backpack or my suitcase
Yes! That was the whole reason I bought the bag was that it had the space for the makeup brushes. I do find that it does take up a little too much space especially in a carry on bag. I have never thought to lay it out flat though. I use either the clear bag that came with it or a quart size standup Stasher bag for my liquids.
Great review. We are the opposite of you and Nick. He carries twice as much 😅. I use two TSA bags, one has a loop for hanging. When it comes to toiletries I am a minimalist who counts on hotels to provide basic soaps and lotions. I rarely have to go buy something. Having everything in clear plastic also allows me to check at a glance when I am packing to see if I have everything I need. (I usually leave my travel-size comb, brush, mirror, etc in the bags for the next trip.)
I used the ebags toiletry bag for a few yrs and really liked it. Recently bought the Tripped bag and so far don't love it as much, but this is my first trip w it.
I bought the Bagsmart one on various recommendations. But should have actually looked at the dimensions more carefully. Once it arrived, realized it was WAY too big! Basically it takes up an entire one half of my carry on suitcase. Also, once it is completely unfurled, it hangs a full 32" inches so is very long. I wish the lower clear plastic compartment was detachable. So am once again on the hunt for a much smaller, more compact toiletry bag.
I am pretty much 'Team Aer' and the Travel Kit 2 has been over the past few years and trips from 2 to 17 days. More space than expected with a ton of organization. However, the Gravel options look nice, but a bit pricey IMO for the Plus.
I have several toiletry bags different sizes my personal favorite is ll bean i have the medium and large to pack for vacation weekend getaways camping and overnights i have the xl ll bean as well i use it for my moving toiletry bag. I really like the ll bean organization and zipper pockets and hanger for the hotel. I have a sea to summit one also it fits perfectly in my backpack duffle and suitcase. My girlfriend has several toiletry bags as well we’re both overpackers
The exterior loops on the calpak bag would be great when in camp bathrooms where there’s nowhere to put anything while showering, your razor hanging there and being able to grab when you need it is great
My hubby and I travel with the Bago Toiletry bag and have been considering downsizing a bit to the Tripped one. The Bago has such a large interior compartment which is nice when packing a hair brush, hearing aid and invizalign equipment. Thank you for these suggestions!
Nice review! I have the Sea to Summit small bag, and it works pretty well for me, but I'm always on the hunt lol. The Tripped bags are very appealing, and I like that the set comes with extra bags. 🤔
Looking through your product review videos trying to figure out who you are targeting as an audience. Many of the items you recommend are nice, but brands like Aer, Nomatic, Bellroy, Matador, , Tom Bihn, and Peak Design never seem to be included. While often more expensive IME these brands have have well-thought designs with features, utility and build quality that will last a lifetime of travel.

TSA ALLOWS a quart-sized bag for liquids not to exceed 3 oz. each carried on the plane. That’s what she means by “TSA approved.”
Thanks for the recommendations, it's like you've read my mind 🤭🤭
Success 🥳🤗

Bag smart bag- 5 toothbrushes? I’m guessing it’s for makeup brushes,

Good demos. Some are nearly as large as a packing cube. lol As a man, I'm with Nik and the Osprey.
Nailed it, Craig! (this is Nik haha)

We use the travelon compact around 13.00- 15.00. I fit all my stuff plus sunscreen.
I appreciate knowing the dimensions of each bag. Good video.
I felt this wonderful feeling in my mind, body and soul when she said “I prefer kislux
Great video! I recently purchased the Tripped toiletry bag for my upcoming vacation.
