    Muzaffar bhai, start your youtube channel or Facebook group or even TikTok. Cause your statements and quotes are very valuable, as it helps us to understand the people around us. for example "the opposite of addiction is connection", this statement is very enlightening. Just make like 20 seconds to 30 seconds videos like short or stories for us to learn and understand our own people of Pakistan. Daily or weekly or monthly, I and hopefully many from the audience will be waiting for your positive feedback.

    Around 400 Psychiatrists and 800 psychologists among 22 crore people, where mental health issue is among the top 5 health conditions.
    I myself haven't visited a doctor when I was suffering from insomnia and depression. Now I'm good, Alhamdulillah. But the point is we sadly lack awareness.

    I'm an occupational therapist and I can relate to Mr Mudaasir.
    The therapy field was a calling for me too.
    And now I work with differently able children and I'm grateful for it.
    I love my work coz I have gained more patience and I have achieved a skill to put my feet into someone else's shoe and understand people.

    My son goes here. I was a bit sceptical about the school since it wasn't too old but once I got interviewed by Muzaffar I was confident that this is the place for my kid. My son loves the school which never happened for me. The report card I got recently was not grades but my son's behavioral chart. Things me and my can work on at home. I am grateful that my wife and me made this choice.

    the whole podcast is around this statement --- - -- - - - -we dont fix, we just provide environment to people so they can fix themselves - matlab saday te na rehna - jagday rehna!

    • @zee.asg858
      @zee.asg858 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      and that's the most helpful approach. If you keep going for the "fix" you'll never be fixed, as that'll become an enabling factor for whatever problem you're trying to get away from. To learn how to manage it yourself makes the solution viable and long-term manageable. This same approach is used for any rehabilitation for that matter, be it, rehabilitation for musculoskeletal disorders, neurogenic or psychiatric disorders. You hold the key to the cure, we as medical health professionals can only guide you and show you the way, and we study/work very hard in order to be your navigator. Hope this helps. :)

    When most people tell you to read Quran to get out of depression, you know that’s a huge ignorance and denial of mental sickness. The world would be a better place with people who have better minds. But you can see why it’s such a messed up place. Everyone is trying to put their problems on others and no one wants to improve their own issues

    One of the best podcasts Junaid bhai. I felt like attending a workshop to refresh what I know about Early childhood Education. Being an Early Childhood Educator here in Canada, I could relate each and everything Mr Muzaffar said about how play based learning brings the diverse skills out of children. They think out of box( divergent thinking) and develop a growth mindset. Interest based activities throughout the day make them feel belonged and represented in a personalized way every day.
    It's all about child directed and child centered learning environment. Emergent curriculum teaches them at that early age that they are valued beings and their feelings matter. Hope each child in Pakistan could experience that learning environment once in his/ her life. Hope to see him again at your podcast. Chao 👍

    Given the capitalist nation we are, we see an opportunity that can earn us well, we lurch towards it keeping ethics at bay.
    Same goes for this profession as a therapist where even if you do find one, they are either not qualified enough, or they won’t respect basic ethical values for e.g patient-doctor confidentiality. A person already dealing with troubles of their own don’t wanna fret about their therapist too.
    So how can we choose the best one early on (before investing our time and energy too much).
