The media uses a technique, humans are naturally attracted towards negativity, why is that? Because, negativity means danger and possibly a threat, and our Brain has evolved to take it that way, the Brain is more attracted towards it so that it can be alerted for a danger, the media exploits that.

Uzair talking straight facts like before. Some salty people seeing pointing out problems as 'negativity' should remember that truth is bitter and a hard pill to swallow. There is elite capture in Pakistan. Btw, rarely one can listen to 1.5hr of talk with interest but hats of to both of you keeping it straight and engaging. Watched half of it in one session and just came back and finished it. Appreciate choosing the right guest that talks straight without sugar coating.

Junaid, I love your content, especially the awareness you create among our people.
This podcast provided some great insights however, I feel that we have way too many channels/people/mediums pointing out the flaws in our system and the challenges we are facing as a nation. I would like to see people providing "actionable" solutions to the challenges and the problems we are facing.
We can only progress as a nation when we collectively start solving our problems rather than pointing them out. We don't have to boil the ocean, pick-up low hanging fruits and solve one problem at a time starting with simple ones rather than get overwhelmed to try and solve all problems at once.
I hope this inspires you and your guest to focus on solutions.
    Keep up the great work!

what an eye opening podcast it's been 💯... the topic of economy doesn't intrigue me much, but boi I'm a fan of Uzair Younus now, what a guy...abundance of knowledge is been given to us for absolutely free, massive respect for Junaid and Uzair brotha... conclusive points of this podcast were culture, money and moderism is power, if Pakistanis start focusing on the importance of these three things, our economy will skyrocket undoubtedly and Pakistan need to have a good foreign policy for the love of God, if we need to survive in this race....this is the survival of the fittest and you need to be on good terms with every country, this is not about having a stronger stance, this is about promoting your culture....why doesn't the world blame India for what they're doing in Kashmir, the way they have marketed and promoted their culture, nobody even what to question them for what they do....Thank you for starting this series and keep on going with it, our youth need to understand the hidden potential they have to turn this country's economic conditon the other way around

Maulana Abu al-Aala Maudoodi also belonged to Iqbal's school of thought. Please do not detest him. Iqbal even approved his book 'Al Jihaad fil Islam' and touted him as the next beacon of Islamic thought propagation. To understand and grasp these nuanced topics of theology you need to possess a certain level of knowledge and wisdom. Not for amateurs. The very reason he was against Pakistan's creation, is because of Islamic Nationalism, the concept of 'ummah', which cannot be divided. That's why we take ownership of our Islamic ancestors, be it Ertugrul, or Muhammad bin Qasim. Modern nation-states are a nascent concept and are very unnatural. This nationalism stems from the insecurity of western nations. As Junaid bhai usually himself says ' keh Allah ne mere pr NADRA ki stamp lga kr paida ni kiya mujhe'. A human is born free and wherever he or she decides to live, is up to that person.

14:48 i don't think that any government was ever looking for a shortcut to improve Pakistan's economy, infact, majority of them wanted not to improve the Pakistan economy at all, because more investment and more free market would lead to competition in the Pakistani market and this ruling class's monopolies would collapse. For example, there is a reason why fertilizer from a nearby country is not allowed here, because its way more cheaper.
