Sir, when you decoding the number to be ready cut the key, those numbers start from the front tip or read of the key where you stick it in? And then those numbers just punch then In Sequence from rear or front of key?? You undertand my question? I like this video.
To my understanding, the cut at the end of the tip of the key is the #1 cut the one closest to the blackhead plastic where you hold the key is the last cut.. please correct me if I’m wrong.

Personal preference on if you want to decide it starting or ending at the tip. Just be sure the numbers are entered the same way in the cutter.
The cuts shown are 8-1, and he puts them in correct at 1-8…
The way you write them down is personal preference and also based on how they key cutter needs them put in.
When taking the wafer out where do u start from

my wafers do not have numbers, but i am able to take lock part and have the wafers. How do i measure them if they have no numbers?
Use depth keys. Know which key is which depth cut and go off that.
The whole point of this video is you don't need to take the lock a part to read the numbers on the wafers.

Title should be decoding wafer lock with depth keys. Visually leads one to assume you were able to eyeball it. Good video otherwise.

This can work with anything you can see the wafers in.
