i agree. Low to mid 5 Star is still ok but everything above is not really enjoyable. I prefer games in the 4-5 MMR because you find more variety in weapons there and its not just pure long ammo, avto and crown and king. But the MMR as a whole doesnt really work. You need 2-3 good games without dying and you are already in the higher mmr. After that the next 6-7 games are pure sweat

As near 100% solo i thought id share my perk point priorities to support the channel, here they are in order: 1. Serpent - snagging clues and even bounties safely and quickly gets you places. Clues are worth points to spend even if you dont get the bounty! 2. Necro, Resilience and magpie next, 3. Doctor, physician, and frontiersman next. Super fast heals and you get an extra use out of every tool you bring. Those are my "standard set" everything else is optional after this but ill usually put on salveskin, gator legs (lots of water on maps) bloodless and packmule. The rest are weapon specific perks which obviously depends on what im using.
I put silent killer rather right up. People argue that you can still hear the grunt drop but firstly, that noise carries a LOT less than the melee scream, second, it blends lot more on ambient noise. I can't count how many times the first thing I used to detect a hunter was a melee noise.

06:25 if my teammate is dead and trapped by enemies on the body. Can I choose to disarm the enemy trap first? because there are only buttons to press to revive. And if I revive him, he gets caught in a trap and dies anyway. I'm facing these issues and wondering if there is any advice
Hey quick question, I'm a high 3 - mid 4 star, 700 hrs & it's been sweaty lately. Any tips/loadouts to stay unnoticed? I crouch, listen, stay in cover, move, rotate, etc to try to ambush, but lately it's push or miss out. And unlike 1-2 years ago, players are making less mistakes. Any advice? Feels like no matter my traits/technique everyone always knows you're coming or just behind something, etc. it's different than it used to be and that's ok, but I really want to move up. I'm good, but sure I'm missing some things. Anyway just asking. All good
be more aggressive don’t play “silent” loadouts the game has matured where even new players can handle pve with only throwing axes you shouldn’t prep for anything but players obviously don’t be LOUD but don’t stress either
A lot more spam weapons have been added to the game Like the vetterli cyclone, krag, mako, marathon.. But not just that, also the melee weapons like the katana. Melee in Hunt is very strong. Someone is charging you and you miss a shot, its most likely over. Those additions to the game, made the whole thing a bit more agressive. Traps are working really well lately. Like the concertina/poison combo. The melee guys just push without looking. For the spam part, well make your shots count. Dont peek twice around the same corner. In the end its hunt, we win some games and we lose most of them 🤣 im trying to upload a solo guide soon. Maybe i have some tips in there for you. I have 3k hours and i get destroyed a lot lately. But i had a 5 month break. Maybe thats why 😅

@@Oldboy.. yeah i mean it when i say hunt played like call of duty is a much more fun world (obviously not taking away from the western feel) but people play too slow and matches just take longer for everyone to lose anyways

Most important trick - don't go into 5-6 star ranks. They are not fun at all

there is no specific button for this. So you need to look for the trap prompt and disarm the trap first.

I’ve watched so many Hunt tips videos and try to emulate what good players do but I just get owned all the time. Time to retire I guess oh well
