🇱🇰 EXPLORING KANDY: A JOURNEY THROUGH CITY VIBES

Join me as I explore the beautiful city of Kandy! 🌟 The adventure kicks off with a hike to the Kandy viewpoint alongside fellow hostel mates, where the views are absolutely stunning. From there, I wander through the charming streets and paths of the city, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.
One of the highlights is visiting an incredible Buddha temple perched on a mountain. It’s an exhausting climb, but totally worth it! 😅 Later, I stroll around Kandy Lake, where I have an unexpected encounter with a friendly local grandpa. He shares stories about life in Sri Lanka, and although he doesn’t ask for anything, I end up treating him to a coffee.
We have some great discussions about culture and daily life here. I also pass by the famous Tooth Temple but decide not to go inside since it doesn’t pique my interest.
Overall, Kandy is filled with cool vibes, friendly locals, and beautiful sights. Let’s dive into this amazing city together! 🌍✨
