Renovation Diaries. Full update on our basement. Sump pump issues.

Today we found a big issue with our basement that could cost us additional thousands of dollars that we were not planning on spending. The previous owners did some sketchy plumbing work and tried to convert their sump pump into an sewage ejection pump. So in order for us to not completely blow through our budget. We need to figure our next plan of attack and see how to fix this issue. Because for our bathroom, we will now need a sump pump, and a sewage ejection pump.

I live just south of you in NH and was swatting mosquitoes the whole time I was watching this. LOL
Remodeling my basement also, major water issues. I put in a French drain (inside) helped with my water issues.

Get a sump pump. Then run french drains from your house to the lowest point on property near a public drain, and grade your yard to slope away for your house and backyard, you can do it

#AppleDrains or #CrawlSpaceNinja great info. Those flies are in your basement because you have that water/drain issue. You resolve that, flies are gone. 👊
