This bathroom is $100,000 all in. Today we will be doing the biggest shower system prep that we have e ever done!
We will be using all GURU Wallboards and Products. Bc this is a steam shower, we need to make sure that we are using banding to waterproof all of the seams!

Dude, with Wedi all of that taping and flashing is eliminated. Extra labor means extra cost.

It looks like Wedi is the same type of system, they just skip the extra taping and only apply sealant. You could do the same with Guru or others, but the taping gives you another layer of water proofing.

I did our shower like this but when I did my daughter’s shower I used Wedi and did it in half the time. I definitely admire the effort that goes into this system but if I get rooked into another shower job it’ll be Wedi.
