Been to Bangkok & Thailand many many times, can never understand why the BTS closes at midnight, crazy in a massive city like Bangkok, should run 24 hrs
Maybe to help put it into perspective. What is the cost per US gallon equivalent? For example, in the the US, it's around $4 in fuel for 20 minutes of driving. Is fuel less expensive there and why? Namaste
Gas is sold in liters here. I think it would be about $3.50 US a gallon. I have no idea why. I'd guess they don't have about a $1 a gallon tax like so many states have in the US. But, I'm not sure
yeah travel to Bangkok to watch filipinos kind of like traveling to usa going to a mall food court and all the servers are filipino tooo!….guess im at the point that just cant see actual locals performing..
They have Thai acts too. It's just the Filipinos are some of the best singers. Ask the guy who joined Journey. He was a cover guy and they let him join the band

Fabulous band, mostly Philippines musicians I believe- I saw them last Sunday and was well impressed 😊🙏🇬🇧 so versatile
There are some great bands around town. Many from the Philippines, but some great Thai musicians, too.

I agree. At least limited service until 2am. Good news is cabs and Grab is cheap enough. Even with the broken meter
