If you enjoy checking out Bangkok and other SE Asia spots, consider subscribing. I'll continue to make videos showing the streets in Bangkok and beyond. Thailand is amazing and a great place to visit, work or retire. I'll do my best to show you how to live affordably in SE Asia. Plus, enjoy some great side trips from Bangkok.
Another terrific video, Joe. Thanks. I really enjoy the 'street scenes,' the regular life of Bangkok. In terms of Chinatown, what is the breakdown of the mix of people? I saw a bunch of gringos; What percentage would you say is Thai? Chinese? I always get hungry watching your videos. The great diet of 2023 has begun. No more empanadas!
Hello from north of San Diego. Was watching your Mexico videos. I'm trying to decide where to go. I enjoy Thailand but live close to Mexico. How do you compare your happiness between Mexico and asia. That would make a good video.....I sure appreciate your videos
@@EagerExpat your my new fav channel. I live san diego but trying to decide, phillipines Thailand or Mexico. I really value your experiences and insight. I really loved filipina and being able to communicate in english. But far.
@@BearInThePhillipines Cool man, thanks for watching. You can speak English with 90% of people in most tourist areas of Thailand. Mexico is great, but I wanted a new challenge. I've been running around Mexico for 50 years. Come check out Thailand. I love San Diego, but it's expensive. I just paid my rent. It was $475 for a 27th floor pad. Pool/gym on the roof. 5 year old building. I love Bangkok
@@BearInThePhillipines They have different visas. I'm over 50 so I got a retirement visa. They also have education, business, etc.. I'm no expert on visas, but anything is possible
Not sure if you take requests, but there's a spot I saw in another video, in one of the alleys in Chinatown off Nana I think, it's called Biscuit Bar & Cafe. It looked like a nice little hipster spot. If you could stop in there and check it out in one of your videos, that would be cool.
I have a video I need to edit soon. We went to Brown Sugar on Soi Nana. Very cool. Biscuit looked very slow, but it was a Tuesday. I'm sure I'll be back in that area soon.

Thanks for the tour- excellent cinematography and beautiful lighting. Did you find bakeries as well ? Can’t wait to try the dimsum.🎉
Thanks for watching. I didn't see a bakery, but im sure they have many.

Thanks for watching. Hard to say about the breakdown. It's a huge tourist stop. So you'll see everyone. But, there is a huge Chinese community.

I love Mexico but Thailand is like going back in time. It's modern with 1990s prices. Comparing the two might make a good video. Thanks for watching

Sorry, but making me dizzy. If you want the best dim-sum place called Shangreilla, not the hotel.
Dim sum is great. I'll have a look
