I’m not sure if it’s true or not but I saw in what I believe is a Nissan made TH-cam video that you can either use pro pilot assit with cruise control or there’s a way to use cruise control without pro pilot assist. If I find the video that tells you how I’ll include the link for you. I too have a new SV (only 8 miles on it) and I love it but it’s kinda confusing with all the buttons you can push..i found the video here: th-cam.com/video/33yRby__7Ig/w-d-xo.html
Easy way to overcome the steering assist warning...put your legs on either side of the wheel (cradle in your lap) and barely touch so the wheel can move freely. The alarm won't go off.
I have a 21 Rogue SV. If you want cruise control without the steering assist just press and hold the steering assist button. Cruise will activate without the assist.
i just got the 2023 rogue sl and its terrible. Is there anyway to use the steering assist WITHOUT cruise control being on? my freeways go from 70mph to 40mph its never a constant speed and this car slows down so fast or pumps the breaks im always close to being rear ended daily. Or i tap the break once to slow it down or avoid people cutting me off, and cruise control (along with steer assist) turn off. Im spending more time playing with buttons than i am driving
Will the adaptive cruise control work in stop and go traffic? As in will it come to a complete stop when traffic stops and then start again when traffic starts moving without the driver needing to give any brake or gas pedal input?
Ours will activate propilot assist and then disable a short time later. When this happens, it cancels cruise control. We've followed the suggestions in the manual and have cleaned the camera.yet, this continues. Any idea why?
What is the point of having the steering assist? Not trying to be a joker here but if you can't keep your hands off the wheel and need to have them on the wheel, then I will be steering the vehicle. It's cruise control but you get to set car lengths. That's the only benefit I see. Am I missing something? I only ask because we have one and never really used the feature.
Steering assist is more about you unintentionally steering out of your lane. So it will bounce you back. And pro pilot assist will keep 1 to 3 car lengths and bring vehicle to a full stop and bring you back up to speed.
I just got the Rogue coming from a 2018 Honda CR-V. I love it but it was dated and boring. The rogue is much better In Comfort and technology BUT the Honda sense FCW , CTA and BSM is far better. I’ve had cars cut me off or I have tailgate someone ( just to test the system I’m not one of those drivers) and I got nothing. I was backing out of parking spot and cars and people were walking behind me and I got nothing!?! No warnings …Nada 👎 I love the car but I wanted a fresh start but man the Rogue has definitely many kinks to figure out. Get the Rogue if you don’t mind these issues. It’s fun to drive and very nice.
@@yourcargal-andreaarmstrong7858 Also most japanese car makers except Honda provide lane centering without adaptive cruise control on. Subaru and Nissan both require the adaptive cruise control to be on for lane centering to work. It gets annoying because sometimes I have to use brakes to take an exit or move to another lane . And for sneaking into another lane during traffic I have to use brake and that turns off steering assist. I don’t know why others didn’t give it an independent control. strange!
@pinak if you flip your turn signal or do the 3 flash pass which is bumping the signal to whichever way you are turning or changing lanes to or even exiting the highway steering assist turns off till you get in that lane and turn your signal off or 3 flash pass then steering assist comes back on I have the new 2021 rogue caspian blue and love it 😊 great review Though @yourcargal
I have new SV and this was very helpful as I could not activate cruise control. Thanks

show us everything bae concerning the operation of all on the Rogue, i Love mine, but it is a complex dashboard😊
Does it detect your hand through torque onto the steering or does it detect your hands like a smartphone screen?

The ocd in me wants you to set it to 60mph not 59mph 😝
Love it! Great job!
It's also got a "Bitchin' Betty" on board...PULL UP!
I am waiting for a car with Pro Pilot Assist 2.0 which is a level 3 autonomous driving system like the Tesla. Waiting for the Ariya.
Very awesome!
Fun fact: The current Pro Pilot assist is made by the same company that made version 1 of autopilot for Tesla.
How to activate the Hologram , is it an option that i don't have even if i have auto pilot assist ? :)
The heads up display is on the top of the line platinum trim, at least here in Canada.
IS that the platinum?
Yes sir it is.

Crazy question: did you check to see if it’s all turned on?

My dream!
i love it
Pull up pull up pull up🤣
Nice
Helpful. Thanks!
Mom has a rouge and the sounds are annoying and cruise control is not very user friendly. My mom has never used it bc of it.
Cute
You must ve paid a lot cuz I got an sv and no sun roof.
Just got the sv on Friday and it has the panoramic sunroof but, that's in Canada.
So, it works for 5 seconds and then it yells at you to put your hands back on the wheel ? Lol
Because it’s not self driving. Don’t be rude.
This is what most vehicles do, even fully self-driving vehicles will warn you eventually if you are not holding the wheel.
She stopped making videos:(
I need to make more……
