Tying a small swivel ahead of the worm and hooking the worm so that it is not in a straight line but has a hump in the worm causes the worm to appear to be swimming rather than just coming straight to you, lifeless. An additional mod is 'welding' two worms together via a flame to make a 12"-13" "snake" works also. Intuitive Angling showed me this trick on his channel.

I just got some i saw alot of people catch bass with the black one on a weighted hook the tail sticks up and wiggle haven't fished mine yet i got some of the watermelon seeds colored
