Hello friend, we are absolutely honored to follow your work, we are immensely happy and grateful to share your amazing work with us, we admire every work shared by you, congratulations for the excellent work we wish you success friend, another subscriber here
I am addicted to your videos and I enjoy your travels . I dreamed of doing what you both are doing with my wife. I’m retired truck driver of 45 years I still have my cdl license/ A I do a little bit of part time driving for my Sisters business, the only problem is my wife owns a small Korean restaurant in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, so I can’t pick up and go, but it’s still a on going dream, I have travel this country and it’s beautiful, but I was working, I love to travel and drive so much, I still hope. God bless you both and your families. Stay safe.
Just love your rig ! The entire setup is great since you updated to an actual live tandem setup. I have had class A pushers since the 90's. Now that children are grown and we are both retired. Your type of setup would be perfect. Unfortunately, my health took a dive a few years ago. Unable to do now so our travels are with you and Suite Travels, Switch Up and Traveling Robert. You guys remind me of the way my wife of 47 years and myself enjoy being with one another. God Bless you all !
oh my that was so much fun sitting here holding my breath at times ... but enjoying my armchair travels with you. NOW enjoy your time to relax a little. Smiles and hugs from Western Canada (North OK Valley in BC-where we just got a huge dump of Snow).

At 4:30 Those wern't bad roads, you've never seen bad roads. I was in Odessa a few days ago. Odessa Saskatchewan, which is a town a little bit bigger than the parking lot you spent the night in.
I’m glad that you guys made it to Arizona safely and that the weather wasn’t any worse than some high winds. Sondra, you crack me up with your apprehension and anxiety with low bridges, big humps and deep pot holes, etc. because that is how I am when my hubby is driving and it drives him a little nuts. The places that you take us are places I would never see otherwise and for that I thank you. Enjoy your time in Quartzite. Until next Thursday …
LOL, Christy, Sondra is always looking at those road conditions and always making comments. She definitely freaks out on so many things. Sometimes her shrieking scares the "you know what out of me"!
My husband feels the same way. He says that I “shriek” when there is no reason to do that. My side of the story is that I don’t know there is no reason until whatever has passed. I can’t imagine how bad I would be in your big rig setup … yikes!
I flew over Midland Tuesday (1/16) night on my way from LAX to DFW. I could see the "Gas Flaring" from the gas burn-off 🔥on all the oil wells at 35K feet. It really was a beautiful thing!
Welcome to TEXAS. However if you are in Odessa , you have been in Texas for quite awhile. So sorry that you had a bad experience trying to refuel. Generally Texas truckers are very courteous. I couldn’t feature that you couldn’t get over that railroad track because there are so many big trucks in Texas. I’d be VERY careful going into Mexico, if I were driving a fancy rig like you have, if I were you!
Another awesome adventure. Just wish then next video is the remainder of your stay. I've been have issues following the continuous progress of your journey 😊
Thanks Jodie. Generally each video is another week. Sometimes we're traveling for days and other times it's a short travel day and a destination. Just depends on what we're doing.
Great video..im so impressed u drive that big rig Sondra.. well done. Again today i went along somewhere that ill probably never see with out you ..thank u. Have fun!
Another gem, Sondra and David. Loved every minute, from the opening preview, the brief recap, you guys are entering Hollywood territory with your production quality. An hour-long adventure dramedy is what this was. I learned that downtown Odessa and downtown San Elizario are opposites of each other. On that note, I loved your adhoc road game (16:30-18:45) which I named "State that City" (a "punny" name - your humor is contagious). Yes, Pecos only works in Texas. I'd love a peek behind the curtain to see what exactly causes those clocks to change automatically when we cross time zones. This "eclectic" drive down that oil vein on I-20, past the cattle silage, and through the Mars-cape (45:15) was fun because of you. Thank you for a wonderful episode, and I can wait to see what you produce for the century vlog. Safe travels, and next time, do a Whataburger for lunch and save the cheese sandwich for dinner. 😁
That's a great idea on the Whataburger for lunch! Thank you so much for your comments and positive energy. It helps to have great weather but the trip was fun.
Born in Odessa and have spent most of my life running from Houston to Possum Kingdom Lake to the southern pan handle area. Your video brings back a lot of memories. Will be joining y'all (all full time RV'ers) on the road soon as my wife and I retire and hit the road with our "new to us" RV!!!
Love you guys!! I drove that "oil corridor" back in 1970. I had forgotten how BORRRRR-ING that stretch of road is.. I was on a trip from San Diego to Ft Hood TX, a trip of 1394 miles, and I did it in 24 hours.. Pecos brings back a "fun" memory... It was around 2am and the roadside sign I passed said "Pecos 10 miles".. Then what seemed like just seconds, there was another sign that said "Pecos 5 miles".. I needed gas and there was a 24 hour station in Pecos, so I stopped. After getting my gas, I mentioned to the attendant that there seemed to be two signs next to each other, one saying "Pecos 10 miles" and the other "Pecos 5 miles".. His reply made me decide to ask if I could pull around in back and take a nap.. He said those WERE 5 miles apart.. Its EXTREMELY fortuanate that 1) Interstate 20 in that area is nearly straight and 2) my car's front end alignment was good.. I slept about 3 hours and then got back on the road..
Wonderful video David and Sondra!! Love Sondra's comment at 35:50 about the flyovers. Every time I visit Texas, I am amazed by the flyovers--y'all do your interstates in unique ways! :) And the discussion of stopping at the outlet mall only if there's a What-a-Burger is priceless! :) Safe travels!!

Thousand Trails has been going downhill for a few years now, but they should absolutely be ashamed of those roads. Don't they know how many people watch your channel?😊
As a true Texan, I must let you know the proper pronunciation of Pecos. The proper way to say it is Paycus. Lived in that area for most of my life. Love your channel
All right. Safe travels . I wish In had a rig like yours. Well then I think about making a turn. Or backing a mile or two. Nope I'm happy with our hybrid Bullet Crossfire. We have all the cross ventilation anyone can ask for! We will keep our eyes open for you. Thank you so much for making your trips so much fun for us. The trip is the destination. Bless you.
Thanks, Doug. There are definite compromises one makes with the RV they select. It's a matter of choosing what is right for your travel style. Our size has never prevented us from going where we want to go. It's definitely different but it's our home and we're super comfy in it.
We enjoy your adventures. What a blessing it is to be a couple enjoing each others company and living life. Everytime David laughs, I laugh. God has smiled on you both. 🤗 Be safe on your travels.
I’ve lived in Odessa, Tx for 71 yrs. Oil industry encompasses 1000’s of sq. miles. I’ve been following you since the beginning. Safe travels. Hope to see you on the road.
❤❤❤❤❤❤ They are newbie drivers holding up fuel line. I drove 28 years and that was a pet-pev of mine. Get fuel pull up, especially when it's busy. If shopping, go park!!!
Thank you for watching. We really appreciate your comments on the channel and are excited to have you along on the journey. Thanks for being a part of the story.
What a cool and unique setup. My dad will be retiring his rig in a few years and I plan to convert it to doing this job. I might even make a few videos about it!
Great stumbling into you guys yesterday in Quartzite and chatting for a bit. We met the group and had great discussions with everyone about the CDL subject. Jim answered a lot of our questions. Have a great stay in Quartzite and safe travels. Look forward to crossing paths again on the road. Rob and Noni
That's great news and really fun to meet up at the show. Still looking into the CDL issue and don't see any changes but I'll keep researching. Safe travels.
It was a highlight of mine meeting you at the meet up on Thursday. Thank you for all the time and energy you put into producing such wonderful videos. I feel privileged to be able to ride along with you on your adventures. Have a wonderful winter and thanks for stopping in Q so I could meet you. Maybe sometime you’ll visit my state of Michigan.
Our pleasure, Juanita! And thank you for spending part of your day with us in the desert. I'm thinking next year is our time to visit Michigan. I'll have to check but we want to explore the UP and the upper part of MI aroiund Traverse City and Mackinaw. Stay warm in Michigan when you return.
You mentioned Huntington Beach, which is in Orange County, where I live! I live in Irvine, which is few miles inland from Laguna Beach and Newport Beach.
@@bigtruckbigtravels Next time you're in this area you should check out Balboa Peninsula and the Fun Zone! There's a ferry that you can take across to Balboa Island from there (it's only like $2) and once across on the ferry you go straight on Agate then when it dead ends on North Bay Front you turn right, then when you get to Marine you turn right and there are a bunch of really cute shops and you can have a famous "Balboa Bar" or a "Chocolate Covered Banana" with all the toppings :) Once you're done you can take Marine back the way you came and that will lead you back out to PCH. I would suggest you do all of this in the Smart Car :) Let me know if you're going to be in the area and we'll come down to meet you!
I love your videos! I'm hoping you are meeting up with other HDTs! My dream is to buy a set-up like yours and travel. I do love HDT rallies especially Caldwell ID. I'm excited to watch your next video! Thanks for sharing your journey.👍🇺🇸❤
Thank you. Yes, we are in the Quartzsite desert right now with about 20 other HDT rigs. It's quite the scene. We had a potluck last night and we all enjoyed a great meal and fellowship as the sun set.
We’re glad you made it. We left there this morning for a couple of days at our home base. We’d been there for two months. We’ll be back in a couple of weeks. And you’re right, it is more crowded than in years past. We’ve been coming there since 1999 and this is the busiest we’ve seen. We thought we saw your Smart car on our way out today.
Thanks, Terri. There are a couple of Smarts that have the same color scheme as ours in the area where we are camped. Good to know on the crowd conditions...the Big Tent Show will be CRAZY!
Looks like you got good weather in the "Q". We'll be out that way in a month or so, enjoying a little Sugar Beach time though first. Enjoyed catching up with your travels
So far, John, weather has been good. A little cool today with some sprinkles but the rest of the week looks good. Last week was beautiful. Thank you for the comments. 😃
Great video as always! I would like to go to Quartzsite this time of the year, especially when it’s so cold right now in Michigan. Just have to convince my wife 😉. Enjoy Quartzsite, the big tent and have fun!
Michigan is very cold right now...Quartzsite is very not cold right now...kind of seems like a "no brainer" to me. Good luck on convincing her. Thank you for watching.
As a 40 year truck driver, I promise you it drives me up a wall to see these rude guys sit there and take their 30 minute break without a concern for who they’re holding up. In my opinion it’s straight up that I’m limited by the hours I can run and if somebody takes up 30 minutes for no reason that’s money out of my pocket.
Amen, Richard! We're not on a clock but we're very cognizant and sensitive to the fact that the other drivers ARE on a clock! We try to live by the Golden Rule and it's just very infuriating when they don't care about others they are impacting. Oh well....Thanks for commenting and appreciate you watching the channel. Thanks for keeping America rolling!
It’s getting worse every year. I’ve been driving for over 40 years also and I stay away from Pilots at all costs for the same reason. Loves are starting to get bad also. Thanks from a professional driver for being so considerate to our craft 😊
Glad someone told you the correct pronunciation of “Paycus!” Have you had their cantaloupes? Fond memories of growing up in El Paso and eating at the Whataburger near campus. My dad was the Registrar/Director of Admissions at UTEP.
If you want Great Mexican food detour into Benson AZ go to Mi Casa it’s a VERY small place on the main drag. Probably not enough room for your rig, but plenty for Pathfinder. It’s run by a couple, the wife cooks and the husband waits tables and serves customers. Only about 8 tables but the BEST Mexican food on the planet. By the way love your videos. I think I’ll subscribe.
Thank you, Tom. We have found very few authentic Mexican food restaurants in the states but we'll have to try Mi Casa out next time. Mi Casa sounds very neat.
Yes, Dennis, our mistake when we added the tandem axle... it should have been a powered axle. Live and learn... that's what we get for not asking the right people!
Great video! Sondra are you by chance sending a ❤message to your family back home when you bring your hand that has blue nail polish up to your check? Sort of like what Carol Barnett did when she tugged on her ear to say hello to her grandmother. 😊 Y'all are so fun to watch. Thank you
Great episode. Those steps you were admiring on the back of the truck are flip down yacht mast climbing steps. A good ship chandlery or rigger who builds yacht masts should be able to get them.
I appreciate your good attitudes, banter, enjoyment of each other and the travel... You mentioned the MORR channel above, which I also follow... I believe a big part of Matt's popularity is his honestly quirky personality that comes across the video... I expect you all will also have an escalating number of subscribers as the word gets out... Thanks for sharing! 😎
Appreciate that sentiment. Sometimes I feel like we are going to have to call MORR with some of the places we visit and stay overnight. I think we're better prepared now with our live axles.
Glad you enjoyed it, Scott. Thank you for watching the channel. We're excited to be able to share our experiences with everyone and to give back to the RV community.
Thank you. Yes, we just had one on Thursday with about 50 people showing up! Wow. We'll be here until the show ends so we'll probably meet up with others as we visit the show. Enjoy saying "hi" to everyone.
been there and done that from 2012 - 2021. was fun , made a lot of good friends, still in contact with most , 2001 volvo semi 660. and 2 mobile suites. now live in yuma.
Nice. You were doing it in the HDT before it got crazy! Good for you. Our first trailer was a Mobile Suites Houston. Love the floor plan. Thanks for watching.
We love the Texas road structure...but you have to get used to it. The dedicated U-turns, flyovers and feeder roads keep traffic flowing but can be confusing the first few times. Great system. Thanks, Jake, for the comment.
I think I met you guys in northern Idaho pulled over in Smelterville last year. I’m car camping and will be in quartzsite in a couple of weeks. See you there! LOL!!! 😂
You two crack me up! “Going up steep incline mountain pass with high winds” He says, “We’re doomed!” You both laugh 😂 Love the videos! You’re both living the life I have always wanted to live! Stay south!! Oregon is still thawing out!! I miss trucking across the U.S. with my honey (R.I.P.) we hauled for Schneider. Lots of loads in 13 years. (I’m not an operator) but just didn’t have time to stop and smell the roses. The Desert was my Favorite area! I-8 Mile marker 132 Or 133, the biggest Saguaro 🌵 I’ve ever seen! Happy Trails!!
Thank you. It's a cool area to drive and we love coming out here after spending some time out east. It makes us really appreciate the desert scenes and vistas.
Loved this video! We had to cancel our winter trip to Arizona this year due to many health concerns that surfaced late November. So we'll be visiting the area through your future videos. BTW, if you ever get back through Picacho Peak, it really is a nice campground plus the hike to the top is great. Enjoy your stay!
Sondra, I just noticed in this video that you wear regular glasses with sunglasses over them. I have transition lenses and need new glasses. I have been finding photography almost impossible in the sun with trying to keep the transition lenses light enough to see. How do you feel the regular lenses with the add-on sunglasses work for you for photography? I'm now thinking of going this route. - western NY Aimee, buried under over 80 inches of snow this week. ❄️
80" of snow?!?! 🥶 now that I've gotten over the shock of all that... I used to have transitions but what I hated about them is they took sooo long to change back to normal when they are cold and that's why I ditched them. I then tried clip ons but they get really heavy and slip especially when my nose gets sweaty. A friend of mine had these wrap arounds on her glasses and I loved the thought of them. There is a sun glass vender at the Tampa RV show that has a really nice variety of them. I have 4 pairs in 4 different colors. But... I found that even though they all look alike they don't all fit the same. My blue ones actually rest on my nose directly so the glasses don't bear the weight and dig into my nose. So to answer your question, they don't get too much in the way of picture taking. I take my pictures thru the view finder and not the LCD screen. But because the glasses are polarized I do have to lift them up to review a shot in better detail. You might have noticed me lifting them up sometimes in this video to get a better look at the GPS. Hope this helps 😊
Just loved the vid as it shows what it's like driving a rig of your size in the US. Incredibly informative. I did think you were a little lite on the puns though. Just think of those giant potholes as practice for the outback.
Thanks, Brendan. I don't want to "go to the well too many times" though...Sondra always rolls her eyes with the puns...I'll try to "do better" in the future! Stay cool down under!
The trailer you passed with the steps on the rear door is more than likely some sort of simulator. I used to pull flight simulators for the military where I used to work.
Watching some of your older videos from earlier this year and catching up. Really enjoying these.
Awesome, thank you!

We loved this video it was fun traveling with you.
Glad you enjoyed it, Sheila! Thank you.
Picacho one of my souvenir pit stops. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets there. Also pronounced like Picasso
That's a neat area. Beautiful sunsets/sunrises.
Excellent! Very Strong People. Driving and everything that goes with that. Seems like more work than pleasure. But if you Love it enjoy!
Thank you. Sometimes it is a lot of work but we enjoy the process.
R u guys planning on visiting TX anytime soon?
@@valnpaulvanorden we'll be there in September for several weeks to get some errands done.
We enjoy your adventures. What a blessing it is to be a couple enjoing each others company and living life. Everytime David laughs, I laugh.
God has smiled on you both. 🤗
Be safe on your travels.
Well...then, you're laughing a lot! Warms my heart to hear you enjoy the video's and appreciate our life on the road. Thank you so very much.
@@bigtruckbigtravels i am married to a man that makes me laugh all the time. It is a true blessing from God.

I’ve lived in Odessa, Tx for 71 yrs. Oil industry encompasses 1000’s of sq. miles. I’ve been following you since the beginning. Safe travels. Hope to see you on the road.
It is amazing how much of the oil industry is in that area. Unbelievable. Thank you and that would be awesome to meet on the road.
excellent video. Have you ever thought of doing an extra educational video of taking pictures esp with your drone?
Thank you. I think I need more experience before I can do a video on it but I do get a lot of questions on it.
❤❤❤❤❤❤ They are newbie drivers holding up fuel line. I drove 28 years and that was a pet-pev of mine. Get fuel pull up, especially when it's busy. If shopping, go park!!!
Exactly, David. It disturbs me that there are not more "professional" drivers out there.
The newbie drivers were trained by newbie trainers. I learned to move the first day.
Me and my family were just in Quartzsite at the RTR on opening day, and we met the adorable and amazing Bob Wells!
So cool! Glad you were able to meet him, Sherise. He knows this area for sure.
Thank you for sharing your life with us!
Thank you for watching. We really appreciate your comments on the channel and are excited to have you along on the journey. Thanks for being a part of the story.
What a cool and unique setup. My dad will be retiring his rig in a few years and I plan to convert it to doing this job. I might even make a few videos about it!
Oh yeah! That sounds like quite a project. Lots of fun. Nice to look back on the video. Do it! Thank you.
I love watching you. Great vlog. Greetings from Poland
Hi from across "the pond". Thanks for watching. We'd love to visit over there one of these days.
love your video's, you keep it real
I appreciate that, Kristina. It's just us on the road. 😀
@@bigtruckbigtravels... Hate burst your bubble, but you (nor anyone else) will be "cruising" Anywhere, in 2025... and thereafter.
another great video very scenic thankyou
Glad you enjoyed it, Dale. Thank you
You mentioned Huntington Beach, which is in Orange County, where I live! I live in Irvine, which is few miles inland from Laguna Beach and Newport Beach.
Very cool! Love that area... and Ventura!
@@sherisevalentygibb that sounds really cool. Thank you.
Hey, Sondra is driving, I admire you! Go girl!
She did great avoiding all the potholes! We made it out in one piece! Woohoo!
I spent many years in Texas. It took 5 hours to get from San Angelo where I lived to Whichita Falls. Gives you an idea of how big Texas is
Oh we know how big Texas is! Takes 3 days to drive east to west!
That is a totalllly nice rig setup 👌
Thanks! 👍We love it.
Hope you have a great time in Quartzsite.
Thank you. We enjoy the uniqueness of the area and the freedom it offers.
Have a safe trip and enjoy God bless. ❤❤
Thanks so much, Nancy. We always try to be safe.
Looks like a great time going on in Arizona!
We all enjoy the atmosphere and camaraderie out in the desert. Thanks for watching.
We did not know they grew them in that area! A college atmosphere is cool for a town. Great story. Thanks
Great ride you two. Thanks!
Thanks for coming along.
56:04 it was nice meeting yall, even if it was at the dump station 😂 Rob says he really feels like he went to Alaska with yall. 😊
Small world...stinky but small! 😆 🤣 Glad you said hi. Safe travels
So I guess you’re truck was a tag axle, i didn’t know that 😢. But thanks for the good show. I really enjoy watching your videos. You two are so funny.
Yes, Dennis, our mistake when we added the tandem axle... it should have been a powered axle. Live and learn... that's what we get for not asking the right people!
Nice truck loved it God Bless you
Thank you so very much. We enjoy sharing our experiences and glad you're along on the journey. 😊
Nice to see Sandra driving
Thanks, Louis. She enjoys it.
Very cool video, just watched it. Million dollars rolling down the highway:)
Thanks, Alex. You're a little high but it's a nice home on wheels. We enjoy it.
Nice trip!
Thanks! Appreciate the time to watch the channel.
We had high winds too here in Ohio, The Ohio turnpike up north restricted vehicles over 7 feet tall!
Oh wow, Kris. That is quite the restriction. Glad we were further south.
Loved the video guys.
Thank you very much. Glad you're along on the journey. 😊
Great video! Sondra are you by chance sending a ❤message to your family back home when you bring your hand that has blue nail polish up to your check? Sort of like what Carol Barnett did when she tugged on her ear to say hello to her grandmother. 😊 Y'all are so fun to watch. Thank you
Good eye, Kim. That is a "thing" between Sondra and our granddaughters. BTW...loved the Carol Burnett Show....Tim Conway was a hoot!
Great episode. Those steps you were admiring on the back of the truck are flip down yacht mast climbing steps. A good ship chandlery or rigger who builds yacht masts should be able to get them.
Thanks for the tips! It's a great 💡
It was nice meeting you today Joe and Brenda
Great spending some time with you. Thanks for coming.
Love the banter
Thank you for watching the channel. We're excited to be able to share our experiences with everyone and to give back to the RV community.

Are you guys going to have a meet up in quartzite. Thanks for the videos we love watching them.
Thank you. Yes, we just had one on Thursday with about 50 people showing up! Wow. We'll be here until the show ends so we'll probably meet up with others as we visit the show. Enjoy saying "hi" to everyone.
Awesome we will keep an eye out for you guys at the show
been there and done that from 2012 - 2021. was fun , made a lot of good friends, still in contact with most , 2001 volvo semi 660. and 2 mobile suites. now live in yuma.
Nice. You were doing it in the HDT before it got crazy! Good for you. Our first trailer was a Mobile Suites Houston. Love the floor plan. Thanks for watching.
That looks like fun 😊
Thanks, Teresa. Lots of fun. We enjoy the travel to Quartzsite.
I miss the Texas Feeder roads. Also the u turns under the freeway or at an overpass.
We love the Texas road structure...but you have to get used to it. The dedicated U-turns, flyovers and feeder roads keep traffic flowing but can be confusing the first few times. Great system. Thanks, Jake, for the comment.
Love ya guys ❤
Aawww! Thank you so very much. We appreciate your comments. 😍😁😊
I think I met you guys in northern Idaho pulled over in Smelterville last year. I’m car camping and will be in quartzsite in a couple of weeks. See you there! LOL!!! 😂
Hey, Mary. Idaho is a cool state and we'll be visiting it a little more this summer. Safe travels to the Q!
You two crack me up! “Going up steep incline mountain pass with high winds” He says, “We’re doomed!” You both laugh 😂
Love the videos!
Sorry to hear that, Ray but hope your future trips go smoothly and the health concerns were addressed and everyone is good. Thank you for watching.
Wow! 80" of snow?!? You need to head south! Stay warm and be safe.
Nice trailer 👌
Thank you. 😃
Just loved the vid as it shows what it's like driving a rig of your size in the US. Incredibly informative. I did think you were a little lite on the puns though. Just think of those giant potholes as practice for the outback.
I agree. More puns!
oh...you'll be sorry for encouraging me!
I think you are correct, Scott. The markings on the side seemed like it.
That Trailer and truck is So nice ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you, Cheryl. We really enjoy our home. Appreciate your time watching the channel. 😃
Love it ❤
Thank you! We love this lifestyle.
Our conversations are just like yours while traveling… the things the mind ponders! 😅
😆 it is scary sometimes! 😆
I agree! I hate getting in at night! Can't imagine driving that big of a rig. We have a class A.
We can light up the night but I still don't like getting in after dark. Too many spaces you can't see with a potential for a mistake.
