Aww, I've got a soft spot for Ms. Luca ever since Simone introduced her shy, sweet self as a tiny cub and we saw her grow up. The ultimate lady, Ms. Luca's always careful not to intrude and waits to be invited in, picked up after herself thoroughly too; Mama Simone taught her well. 💖

She was such a cute little cub and has grown into a big beautiful bear soon to have her own cubs.
It was nice to see her relaxing in her living room in front of the porch. She even looks like she's stretching. Maybe she was sleeping prior to her visit to Pat's place. Wow, her fur looks gorgeous and beautiful in good shape, shining just like her mother's fur.

Look at how relaxed she is at her Uncle Pat's place, as she should be. That's where she grew up. Wouldn't it be wonderful if she had her own cubs this coming winter and carried on the family tradition of bringing them to Uncle Pat's porch next year!

Oh Patrick, Luca seems to love the feel of your cool stonework. And what an honor that she would come to your home, confident in her safety, to relax in your lovely shade. She seems truly worn out a bit. I loved how she stretched her back using your porch rails. I'm glad she didn't try to stand. Due to her fatigue, her balance could have been insecure. I'm so thrilled to see Simone's cubs growing up. Thank you Patrick for your patient and terrific recordings! :)

Gosh, haven't been on here for a long time. Thanks, Patrick, for continuing to film these sweet bears. I best get on here more. I lost my Yorkie to cancer last November so its taken a toll on my German Spitz and me. That's why I haven't been here in so long. Bless you Patrick and bless all the beautiful wildlife in the world.

6:17 minutes in, and omg, this is definitely the best bear. So gorgeous, so graceful, and she's clearly mugging for the camera. The way she builds anticipation, gets Patrick to think she needs encouragement, and then she just ascends the railing more gracefully than any royal ever sat a throne, is just marvelous. Hands down best bear.
7:01 She's definitely showing off!!! Every other bear tries to eat from the feeder, knocks it off by accident. She just reaches her paw up and yanks it down. Because she's cleary so healthy and well fed that she doesn't need the suet. She is 100% showing off.
Looked like she was saying grace before she climbed up for her meal. So sweet! Love your channel!🐻

Lol come back soon, I don’t think she was going anywhere. Luca was showing how safe and comfortable and how she loves her uncle Patrick. I loved the yawns and stretches and I think she really did want curbside pick up. She really did clean up after herself. Loved the birds. Poor little guys must’ve been saying what happened to all our seeds. Patrick you made me laugh so much with your one liners. Thanks.

Poor thing . Luca looks like she was just recovering from being tranquilizers from fish&game … or she had a rough night of not mist sleep .. little wobbly but she made it up to the prize of seed that splashed down on her . And that last big stretch from down below definitely showed she’s ready for another nap!!!!
Gotta say she looks amazing and her coat is nice and shiny like RUBYS ….she going to be a beautiful bear as she ages .

She's not quite as graceful as her mother Simone, but practice makes perfect, LOL. She managed to get her goal accomplished, much to the dismay of the little birds that were cheated out of their snack. That was a nice, long visit today. Maybe next time she'll take a long snooze on the porch. 💕🐻

Luca! Back for another visit. Still needs to perfect her birdseeding skill. I wonder if she's a bit timid because Simone's scent is all over the porch? She's still young, and still finding her way. Likely, she's had some not-so-good encounters with other bears.

I was going to ask if birds ever came to the feeder, but watching this video answered that question. Do the bears' paths ever cross? Do families of bears have special "territories"? What would happen if Luca or Milo were on the porch and Simone came with her cubs?

It’s fascinating to watch these majestic beast be so gentle and calm when they don’t feel threatened, specially feeling secure enough to bring their cubs 💜
This teddybear thinks she's a cat! This is amazing, I have never seen anything like it! She lies down on the path outside the house, then comes up to the porch, eats some bird seed (okay, cats don't do that, lol), then sniffs around, lies down all curled up, then wanders off and stretches herself while getting her claws out to trim them on the wood that the stairs and the porch support are made of. Just like a kitty!
Luca clearly feels relaxed, she knows she's safe with you, Patrick. Would you consider letting her move in with you - that is, if your cat is happy with such an arrangement?
