I remember finding this channel almost a decade ago around when Pooka retired and left a hole in the high level TCG (specifically PTCGO) content space, the fact you're still making imo the best content in that space after all this time is pretty crazy. Haven't been an active player since early XY, but still keep up with the game and just wanted to drop some appreciation.
Actually, like Andrew Hedrick said, you usually wanna spin the stop FIRST because that's the "draw action" that doesn't require you to make choices, since it is entirely random. Whereas, for Comfeys and Colorlesses, since you're asked to make decisions, you wanna make sure you do them only after having acquired complete knowledge of your hand and possibilities.
@@ciciuk3695 for mid game turns this is certainly true but t1 we usually just want ball search & basics so I want to be selecting toward those first as much as possible… Also it’s a super nuanced thing based on rod/gate combinations in hand and deck so the right choice is usually context driven over information gain
I honestly feel like in that second game they tried to hit Pika with Greninja because they got tunnel vision on trying to pop Resolute Heart and forgot about the Tera protection.
It might be a lot but I’ve been using the same set with a terapagos and gravity mountain too and was able to climb to the top of the league. Has been very useful against raging bolt, klawf poison deck and ancient box Edit-also to add I cut a water energy and 1 pokestop
I like the idea of making flower selecting/colress less punishing with the multiple energy counts but I do really find myself wanting for 1-2 stretchers… It just synergises waaaaay too well with turbo pokestop. If you had to make any cuts, what would it/they be?
I don’t understand the reasoning of selecting before pokestop. You said bc you get a ball to thin the deck of a Pokemon but this reduces the item count and the Pokemon count by 1, which does improve the item ratio if you have more items left in deck than Pokemon but in that case the card you send to the lost zone off select is also more likely to be an item, which is bad for the ratio
since slither wing also burns with its attack, it will leave pika at 10hp after attacking, and during pokemon checkup the pikachu would be ko'd by the burn
@@ohadasaf9394 we’ve got hisuian heavy ball to fish it from prizes when need be but it is one of the risks of the deck Progression series will return once we have time to pick it back up again

Got my first win with this archetype. Shoutout you !!! Thanks
Lzb rayquaza is so back

Loving the hat, boss
I cut the rescue board because I'm sick of milling it with Pokestop. Would rather just play 4 switch lol. Haven't missed it.
Joe has swagggg 😏

@@sampeeters2935 it would just be eating into the energy counts if you want stretchers
No night stretchers?? That seems like a big handicap

With slither wing they still can't take KO on fresh pika so what difference does it make between slither and sandy shocks?
Why can't they??
since slither wing also burns with its attack, it will leave pika at 10hp after attacking, and during pokemon checkup the pikachu would be ko'd by the burn
Slither Wing KOs Pikachu via burn.
Why play only one pikachu?
It feels like if it gets prized then you're cooked
Also is the progression series dead?

Yeah yeah, cool content. Now show the real footage where you start with 5 energy, it’s turn 3 and you haven’t found a Colress. 😢
every deck has its own weakness, this deck also hit or miss meaning you could messed up the whole thing or you are cooking
